Reviewed By BLS592This is a charming and relaxing family-run 3-4 star hotel, about 30 minutes walk from the centre of Tropea. The rooms are tidy and clean but we found our bed to be very hard and, as a result, uncomfortable. A comfortable chair or two would have been a welcome addition to the room/balcony area. A coffee machine was provided upon request- a nice touch.The restaurant is well-appointed and the food choices at dinner are fresh and generally well-prepared. Wines were good (despite the absence of a printed wine list!) and prices reasonable when compared with restaurants in Tropea. Breakfast is ok. Altogether we enjoyed our 13 day stay and can recommend this hotel, especially on account of the lovely family team who are keen to ensure that guests are looked after well.

Al nostro arrivo ci hanno accolti benissimo e si sono dimostrati gentili e disponibili fin da subito. La struttura si divide in due parti: la parte superiore con reception, bar, piscina, ristorante e camere, con una comodissima navetta si raggiunge la parte inferiore con qualche camera sul mare (quella che avevamo noi) spiaggia e bar/ristorante sempre della struttura. Le ragazze della reception fantastiche (Paola, Romina, Silvia, Valeria e un'altra ragazza bionda) sempre cordiali e disponibili in poco tempo a portarci su e giù con la navetta. La camera sul mare è davvero un paradiso, spiaggia ben attrezzata, spaziosa e mai troppo affollata con le giuste distanze tra gli ombrelloni. Cibo ottimo, con varia scelta sia a colazione che a cena, non siamo rimasti mai insoddisfatti. Camerieri e cameriere davvero efficienti e gentilissimi tutti quanti. È stato tutto perfetto, è stata dura andare via! Torneremo certamente!!! A presto stromboli beach !

Rooms are half the size than described
Reviewed By twyssNice, modern and centrally located B&B with a rooftop terrace. We booked one Executive suite and one King suite. On booking.com the Executive suite is described as 58 square meters and the King suite as 35 square meters. Unfortunately both rooms were about half the size. Breakfast is currently served in a nearby bar (5 minute walk) rather than on site. One day during our 4-nights stay both rooms were not made. Considering the prices of the rooms it’s still good value.

Great place and great family run accommodation
Reviewed By Chantelle KThe room was very clean, ocean views, quiet area but close to train station, comfortable bed, television/wifi and storage. The Pileggi Family were beyond helpful to me and were lovely! If you want to stay away from a 'touristy' spot but still be able to go to the neighboring areas (like Pizzo and Tropea), then I definitely recommend it.

The Hotel Il Lungomare is located at the seafront of Zambrone beach with its crystal clear sea and white sand. The property is surrounded by greenery and offers its guests comfortable rooms for 2-3 people with bathroom, TV, minibar and air conditioning. In addition there are apartments for 2-4 people with kitchenette, one bedroom, bathroom with shower and a small outdoor area. The restaurant of the hotel offers a good continental breakfast with sweet and savoury food and guests can enjoy the excellent cuisine of the restaurant for lunch and dinner watching the sea. Free internet-wifi is available throughout the hotel and private parking is free for our guests. Small pets are accepted at no extra cost. The welknown coastal townTropea is 10 km, Zambrone train station 1 km and Lamezia Terme Airport 50 km from the hotel. In addition, the hotel offers a shuttle service to and from the airports and the train station.

Reviewed By micutzu31We've been here in the beginning of the season 2017. Family of 4(2+ 2k) and was very nice and relaxing holiday. The hotel is right on the beach (pebbles) but very convenient when you have children. The pizza is amazing at their restaurant. and the food in general was absolutely ok. Big rooms, clean and confortable. We came by plane then by train and from the train station the hotel staff took us to the hotel. There are no facilities arround like supermarkets or some other, but there are locals that come with cars to sell narural oranges, limes, figs, peaches... We loved the staying at the hotel and eating at restaurant here.
