Reviewed By PHBNAquitaineWe loved our 2 night stay here at the start of our holiday - so much so that we amended our travel plans to include 3 nights here on our way home to France. Everything about it was magical, very restful and quiet, beds linen and public spaces of the highest quality, friendly and helpful team who run the hotel and the village locals made you feel very welcome too - plentiful safe parking in the village around the hotel. The food was great, breakfast and dinners. Be sure to have the speciality lamb during your stay! And great towns and cities nearby to visit.

Reviewed By earwig1000the hostal is on a quite street just to the back of the town's main square-the room was spacious and bright-the receptionist was very friendly and provided recommendations for where to eat and what to see in the town-there is no food served but there are plenty of options within a few minutes walk

Reviewed By richieroodWe had an unplanned 3 night stay Fri to Mon due to a puncture in motorcycle which required a new tyre which could'nt be done until the monday. What a little gem this place is the staff were so friendly and helpful in our hour of need.Comfortable rooms slept so well even with the worry of the motorcycle tyre issue. there is an underground garage, the bar is well equipped and can offer snacks and the restaurant is lovley the food is excellent. I would like to thank the staff so very much for helping us in our hour of need. will be back very soon.Once again thankyou.

Reviewed By TetrastemmaPues Mikel es un anfitrión excelente. De las personas que te facilitan todo, pendiente de que estés cómodo. La habitación confortable y el desayuno (5 €) muy completo. La casa rural tiene restaurante y cenamos una curiosa pizza a base de torta de aceite (9 €). El wifi funciona muy bien tanto en la habitación como en el bar.

Family run hotel in the outback
Reviewed By Paula NBarruelo was a coal mining town and the hotel backs on to the museum of mining. We had a comfy room looking out towards the hills and over the now tree covered slag heaps. The town still has scars frm the Civil war when their Romanesque church suffered and it is just emerging from the period under Franco when he penalised these areas for their lack of support. This makes it all the more intriguing as a place to stay. There seems to be a regular local clientele which gives the place a buzz. Breakfast consisted almost entirely of sweet pastries but it was served in a friendly manner.
