Natural beauty abounds in the state of Uttaranchal's Lake District. Boaters flock to hill-ringed Naini Lake, which according to mythology is one of the emerald eyes of Shiva's wife. A hike or horseback ride to the top of Naina Peak (aka China Peak), the highest point, provides stunning views of the snow-capped Himalayas. To share a prime vantage point with family members of all ages, take the aerial lift up to Snow View; there's also a small marble temple at the top dedicated to Dev Mundi.

Bhikampur Lodge by Howard.Perched above the crowded bazaars of today’s Nainital, amidst the thick Deodar forest adjoining the famous Raj Bhawan golf course lies Bhikampur Lodge. This heritage Lodge was the summer house of the erstwhile Nawabs. Originally built by a British resident in the late 19th century it was later purchased by the Nawab of Bhikampur. The place with its characteristic architecture unmistakably rekindles the aura of the Colonial era. This elegantly done up Lodge would certainly pamper you to appreciate the joys of fine holidaying.
Stayed at this property for 02 nights. It is situated on the Raj Bhawan road. One can see the Naini lake partially. The location is superb. It is a heritage bungalow converted into a hotel. The staff is good especially Mr Rahul Pandey , who takes personal care. There are around 10 rooms spread over 2 floor. The food and the service is also good. Overall a satisfying stay.

Ekam Lodge welcomes you to Nainital - one of the most beautiful hill station frequently visited by tourists from all over the world. Nainital is a glittering jewel in the Himalayan necklace, blessed with scenic natural splendour and varied natural resources. Newly build "Ekam Lodge" offers rooms of quality design and abundant extravaganza to thoroughly amaze you. The rooms are the most spacious luxury hotel rooms in the town.
Had a neutral experience in Ekam Lodge in Nainital. Though the rooms were as good or even better than hotel's but there's no food option. There a specific time you can order the food or otherwise you have to go out and eat. As per them, as of now due to COVID situation, they have limited staff but I think this should not be the excuse. When you are open, you should make people's stay comfortable. Except this, I enjoyed staying here. FYI, only family room have lake view and no parking, so if someone's planning to book, take into account my above mentioned points as well.

Imagine cycling through a maze of freshly ploughed fields. Walking through a thicket filled with bird songs. Dipping into pools in the Baur stream. Camp outs at a single home village in the middle of the jungle. The distant leopard call. Refreshing chai at a village home to help you climb the last hill back to the camp. A rum at the campfire. Nights in Machaans. Fall to sleep watching stars.Next time in Corbett, be wild. Stay at Camp Kyari, Syat Far from the madding Corbett crowd Nestled deep within the Kotabagh valley the camp is surrounded by dense jungle of the Corbett landscape. Its an easy 5 hour drive after you leave Delhi.
We were 5 families (10 kids and 10 adults) visiting this beautiful campsite in the last week of December. The place is beautifully located. not very far from Kathgodam. The huts and tents are spread out with a dense cover of trees. Nice place to relax with so many activities to do. The best part is the food. Superb food options. I can rate it better than any restaurant. The cooking team needs special mention. Every meal was a treat. We did a lot of activities like body surfing, boulder climbing and rapelling. The river hike was the best and the food that was cooked and served at the riverside was amazing. Kudos to the team at Camp Kyari. Thanks a lot Deepak, HImanshu, Prakash, Kirpalji, Hansa and the cooking team. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Not recommended. On Top of the Hight, No Parking & Rude Staff and there is no reception. I am reviewing just to aware the traveler not to choose this hotel. The room size is very small and smelling. I had the worst experience.

Call of the Wild...the resort sits in lush tropical greenery roughly six kilometers from the main town of Betalghat. Quiet and away from the chaos, our guests can breathe in tranquility. Call of the Wild is an ideal place for wildlife enthusiasts looking for an extra dose of adrenaline rush while quenching their thirst for wanderlust. While action-seekers can enjoy an evening safari and trekking, nature lovers yearning for solitude can enjoy its slow pace of life.
Stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. Food was homely but tasty. Non spicy and non oily but still tasty. Service given by Mr Parera ( mgr operation) and Mr Anurag was excellent. Even the service boys were very efficient and cheerful whole serving Resort is surrounded by trees with view of Kosi river at a distance. Room size was big and beds comfortable. Overall a good resort for people who want to relax and enjoy Nature. However, few clarifications :- - Road to this hotel (25 kms) is bumpy as its not a regular road - This is a forest resort, so no TV and mobile signal except Jio - since its all green and forest, lot many insects could be found. Although they are harmless. Plan trip in this resort after rains, to enjoy Nature at its peak.
