We cannot say enough about our two night stay in Mostar at the Goa Guest house. We give it a twelve out of ten. Emir, his wife Mieda and son Errol were our hosts. Emir went over the top in his hospitality. We felt like friends and family. When we arrived, we sat at a table in the courtyard and he brought out a jug of his chilled, homemade rose juice. Delicious and so unique. We also were treated to it each morning at breakfast. He then brought out s plate of fresh figs for us, from his garden, while we visited. Then I asked him to show me his garden. We walked all through it. He showed me hanging squash bigger than a baseball bat. Kiwi growing on s rooftop lattice. He let me pick my own fig. I’ve never done that before. He picked grapes from the vines and offered them to me. He also gave us bunches of grapes for the road, when we left and bottles of water. I loved sharing gardening stories with him. Our room was amazing. Best view of the bridge I’m sure from anywhere in town. We sat on our huge balcony and enjoyed the river and city view, as well as the famous stone bridge. The shared bathroom was fine. The place was very clean with good AC and excellent wifi. A five minute walk from the old town. Very quiet at night in our neighbourhood. Would not hesitate to stay here again. We were able to get our laundry done for a small fee. If Emir asks if you want breakfast, say yes!! It was an extra charge, but so over the top amazing. The plates kept coming out full of enticing food, so artfully arranged and served with flair. Our breakfasts were a memorable, culinary experience. Served in the courtyard under the shade of the apricot tree. Everything is organic and he takes great pride in this. Flavourful Bosnian coffee, rose juice, meat, eggs, bread, mozzarella and tomato salad, Feta cheese and grilled zucchini that would melt in your mouth. Mushrooms. Homemade mayonnaise. Everything was garnished and flavoured with herbs. We finished off with homemade, apricot jam on our bread. Absolutely amazing!! This is where we will stay, when we return. You should stay there too!! You are missing out on lovely, warm, Bosnian hospitality if you pass on this gem.

The room had two burned lamps and towel with a whole. Breakfast - mostly canned food, including processed white cheese, the cheapest feta type one can find in a shop, no fresh vegetables, the cheapest cornflakes. Tomato soup prepared from diluted triple tomato puree concentrate. Nothing for vegetarians, unless you can eat fried potatoes every day and appreciate canned corn added to the cabbage salad, soaked in vinegar. Staff does not understand much of English either.

Located in the historic nature park of BIH Rujiste, a must see location for all Mostar visitors, Hotel Snjezna Kuca is a real relaxing place offering two places in one the beautiful panorama and adventurous summer season and the snow fun and cosy winter season. Your stay is not only relaxing but because of the very rare endemic tree sort called Munika also very healthy. A a la carte restaurant.
We came at late February while there was still a lot of snow and it was pretty cold outside (-10 °C). Hotel is nice and warm, and we spend 2 nights. Rooms are decent, but we did not came over there to spend days in our room. We went out and have a very good hike both days, and there is a wonderful experience when you know that you are coming back to place where you can get hot and delicious meal after being outdoor for a few hours. Personel is very polite and kind. It is good value for money, and we plan to visit Snjezna Kuca again. Tip from the persomel is that the perfect time is in May/June when "munika" (endemic endemic species of pine) forest blooms. Quality of air in this region is well known, and it is a real ozone heaven.

I have really sweet memories of staying at Guesthouse Rota. It is managed by the crew in the restaurant downstairs. They were so helpful and made my stay very very comfortable. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and immaculately maintained. Very close to the bus station if you need to travel, close to the bridge about 10 mins away, and most of all, please taste the food at the restaurant downstairs. I had my best meals in Mostar at this place. I am coming back for more food and to stay at your guesthouse again. Thank you to Tija, Halida, Mama Maida, Mirna and Edina :) Stay lovely
