We booked the night before arrival for 2 nights stay. We wanted 2 days relaxation by the pool. This did not happen because we were informed as we turned up at 11am that the room was not ready as they had an issue with it. Maintenance would be out at 7:30pm. However, we could stay at a deluxe Airbnb down the road at the dance studio. Now bearing in mind there were 3 adults, it was not a great start. We decided to spend 1 night in the Airbnb as to wait until 7:30 with nowhere to settle wasn't much fun for the mother in law. We arrived at the Airbnb, 6 minute drive away, roughly 30 minute walk. It was one room with an ensuite. They had to get a camp bed out. Our 68 year old mum was meant to sleep on it! Nightmare.... if we wanted to drink we couldn't take the car and so a relaxing trip ended up being cooped up in one room. The following day we drove the 6 minutes for breakfast to see at leadt another 2 couples with children had turned up. My thoughts are that they'd over booked and we got the short straw. Not worth the money we paid at all.

Surrounded by Conero Park, nestled in a beautiful valley between the hills and the Mediterranean.
I visited Poggio del conero in November of last year and found it a pretty and convenient place to stay while touring the area and seeing friends. It has the twin advantages of being hidden away and yet close to both the city of Ancona and to the sea. I took my cat with me and there was no problem. The room was large and comfortable with a modern and pleasant bathroom, both spotlessly clean. There was a small fold-away kitchen which allowed me to prepare meals (plates, cutlery and cooking utensils provided). The owners were very friendly and helpful and there was good parking. The only lack was a washing machine, but in the summer this is not a problem as there is a basin and tap in the garden. All in all a delightful stay in pleasant surroundings - I shall be staying here again, if there's room.

Hospitality, courtesy, refinement are the characteristics of B & B "ROOM WITH A VIEW". Located within the historic center, the building dates back to the fourteenth century, it managed with simplicity 'and welcome the architect Samuele Santi.
We absolutely loved our stay in Samuele's B&B. It was comfortable and spacious and beautifully and artfully decorated. Samuele is an amazing host. He is warm and helpful and ready to answer any questions about Fossombrone and its surroundings. The rooms have a spectacular view of the bridge and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. As an added bonus, Samuele has beautiful handmade earrings avaliable for sale, and I took advantage of this option! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this B&B wholeheartedly to both families and couples.

The restaurant is located on a hill directly looking to Corinaldo's walled town. The view is wonderful. We had a large family celebration and we were all very pleased with the food, especially with the pasta dishes (traditional tagliatelle and not so traditional ravioli with pear). Certainly not refined food but probably one of the best choices around.

There were two rooms in the building, but one of them had no bathroom, and last day they cut our wireless connection, altough we asked the reason, they didn't solve the problem. One of the single bed was very uncomfortable. If you don't book both rooms, you have to stay with a stranger.

Stayed for one night after travelling on ferry from patras. Very clean room, and price was exceptional. Authentic property. Make sure you have the contact details of the manager, it is in a block shared with other businesses and properties. It is easy t find with a big sign outside. Location is very good, right in the centre where everything is going on. Near to port also. Ancona is really a very nice town. Take a walk up the hill and you get an amazing view of the Fincanterai shipyard where there is a brilliant view of cruise ships under construction.

This was a lovely property. Very clean and the pool was great. Nobody there when we arrived (quite late) so it was a bit worrying; thought we might have had to sleep in the car). Finally got through on the phone and sorted the room out. Worth it.

This restaurant/hotel is situated in an old stone building next to the thousand year old castle of Frontone. It is small, five or six rooms, but the accommodations are excellent. The owners, Alessandra and Giacomo, are friendly, hard-working people. The views are truly impressive! You will get a good night’s sleep because it gets very quiet after the restaurants on the hilltop close for the night. Plenty of parking, with the exception of the weekend, when people from all over come to visit the castle, admire the views, and eat at one of the three very good restaurants. But even then I always managed to find a space. I had an extended stay here, about a month, and the food, service and hospitality were all consistently first class!
