We stayed here as a birthday present for my wife in May 2022. We had a front lodge with excellent views of the watering hole. The room was clean and well furnished for glamping and the en-suite was very nice. The hole experience was good and the staff are clearly enthusiastic about what they do. As this was giraffe lodge the keepers made an effort to convince the animals to come up and were more than happy to answer all the questions the guests had. The food was good although you may have to ask for drinks as there is only a few members of staff so they are fairly busy. They catered for my wifes in-tolerances very well and could not be more helpful on this front. The only slight downside is we went on a day where the temperatures was around 15 degrees. This meant in the tent it was really cold overnight so make sure you pack some fairly thick pyjamas. Overall a very good stay and well worth it for those being animal lovers and wanting a quiet getaway

Bear Lodge is a luxury 'glamping' experience in spacious tented accommodation, with stunning views over our brand new bear enclosure, out to the Romney Marsh and English Channel. Formerly known as Elephant Lodge, family and friends can stay for 1, 3, 4 or 7 nights on our secure gated site, with parking. 19 luxury tents with en suite facilities, each comfortably sleeping six people, surround our central Bear Lodge Clubhouse and children's play area. Inside the tents, there's a spacious living area, including the 'bear necessities' such as cutlery, crockery, a small fridge and sink, plus, separate sleeping areas with real beds and comfy mattresses. The on-site clubhouse restaurant has a brand new menu for 2016, including traditional South American dishes, to compliment the arrival of our bear pair. We've also fully refurbished our bar area and alongside our new cocktail menu, guests can sample our exclusive 'spectacled beer'. A stay at Bear Lodge, includes entry to Port Lympne Reserve and sister park Howletts, near Canterbury and additional experiences are available to book including private Ranger guided safaris, animal experiences, archery, fishing, cycling and zorbing, so every day can be filled with wild adventures!
Went glamping at bear Lodge. Amazing tent for the 8 of us. Huge shower room, comfortable beds and a lovely sitting area. We ate on site which was expensive but nice. Went on the safari which was OK. It was a lovely family break and we will be booking again. Thank you

Omg!! well we visited here for my 40th birthday present and I can honestly say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done we stayed in tiger lodge which was so clean and quaint we had a fire which was so lovely and had everything we needed and more. we had the tigers which stayed near the windows in our view for most of the whole stay. We had outstanding customer service from every member of staff here. Harry and Jemima though went above and beyond for us and truly cared for every need we had! we ate in both the bear lodge and garden room and honestly the best food ive ever had ur truly doing an outstanding level of customer service and quality which is rare these days thank you so much for having us and creating a one off lifetime experience/memory

Had to write this review for so many reasons. Firstly it’s a stay that I will never forget. Due to the lockdown my stay was initially totally cancelled. This leads me to Anna from customer services. I was completely amazed by her customer service. I planned on asking my girlfriend to marry me and Anna could not have been more helpful, giving me a load of ideas. I have no idea how she did it, but she was magic. The rhino lodge is amazing. Such a beautifully designed house. The garden has a fire pit and views to the sea. Oh and a rhino living in the field at the back. The standard safari was great. Really informative. Got to see most of the animals but totally understood that this is not a zoo and if the animals don’t want to see you then that’s up to them! The staff really do care about the animals. Samantha took us on a booked giraffe safari. However we did stop at a lot of other animals along the way. But feeding the giraffes was the highlight for me. The garden room meal was also really surprising. Such good quality food. Honestly cannot fault the place and I just hope they survive another lockdown because I will be returning and recommending it to everyone I know.

Truly unique accommodation for my husbands special birthday. The views were amazing, and it felt secluded and not overlooked. The room came with a sleep kit which was perfect for a bright summer morning.
