20 Minutes drive from Livingstone on the Zambezi river. Platinum awarded with 10 luxury en-suite "tented" chalets and 11 luxurious campsites. 2 Chalets are wheelchair accessible. A restaurant, bar, and activity centre on site. Camp Nkwazi: "It's not a stopover, it's your destination."
Stay here! Beautiful luxury tented Villas on the Zambezi River surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and incredible views. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean with very comfortable King Beds, excellent Wi-Fi and fantastic bathrooms and showers. There is an open air deck for meals with a fully-stocked bar. The pool is perfect and welcoming during the hot months. The entire place is great, but the staff really takes it to a next level. Communicating with Salome during booking was a pleasure and Fisher, our waiter/bartender was attentive and kind. Definitely would stay here again.

Nestled above the Zambezi River, overlooking its winding waters and the dramatic cliffs of the Batoka Gorge lies Taita Falcon Lodge. This wilderness retreat is located in the heart of Zambia, downriver from the mighty Victoria Falls. This secluded lodge has a total of 7 en-suite chalets all of which are designed and built using local materials, with stones from the gorge and reeds from the river. Each chalet is named after a bird of prey that can be seen soaring the skies. Décor is simple, yet stylish, with hints of handmade crafts and natural features, keeping in tune with its wilderness surrounds. The lodge itself was designed to showcase the dramatic views that surround it. With its vast viewing platform, open-air bar and lounge perched over the sheer cliffs, it’s the perfect place to sit and take in Zambia’s scenic vistas. Winding stone lined pathways lead the way through the grounds from the main lodge, bar, pool and boma area around to the secluded chalets. There are various walks to explore the gorge and the indigenous forests, where ancient mopanis, white seringas, marulas, leadwoods and African star chestnuts dot the diverse landscape. Beyond the lodge there are a vast array of activities to suit everyone, from thrill seekers to wildlife lovers. Experience the falls in all its wonder on foot, on the water and even from the air, there are more ways than one to discover this part of wild Zambia.

African Lodge in the centre of Livingstone, just off the main road Mosi oa Tunya, close to the Shoprite shopping centre and the Zambezi Cafe. All rooms have a fridge, TV and airconditioning. There are 4 studios/suites with a separate living and bedroom, perfect for extended stays. Rates include breakfast. Dinner can be served on request. We'd be happy to book tours for you like the Mosi O Tunya National Park (just 15 min from the lodge), the Victoria Fall, The Big Five, Mukuni Village or an exciting day trip to Chobe National Park just across the border in Botswana.
This is my fourth time at Okavango in 6 years. I love coming back to this place: the owners big smile, the lovely, quiet courtyard and the central location being the main features. Simple, yet very tasty meals are available on request. Great value for money.

The attitude of the stuff is outstanding. They try being helpful etc and you really feel "at home". If you aim at finding a VERY BASIC hotel to be used as a base for sight seeing in Livingstone, and want to pay as little as possible, it is a nice place to stay. A bonus is a free wifi and an onsite parking (locked and guarded gate at night).. This is a VERY BASIC hotel, that looks nice on the internet but offers very little beyond that. You must have a car to get there (or rely on expensive taxis). The hotel street is a gravel road off the main road. It is located a few KM of the main Livingstone amenities hence the need for a car. The rooms are VERY BASIC and things like shampoo are not offered. Breakfast is "continental" and even less.

Myself and my wife stayed here for 3 days/2nights The manager was very accessible and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Place is very clean with good temperature water though pressure isn't very high. Location is somewhat off-road but overall quite close to town and the falls. Breakfast is provided and we enjoyed our breakfast every morning. We didn't make use of the pool, and i don't think at that point it was well maintained. We travelled there November/December 2020 at which time, tourism was heavily down due to COVID. Unfortunately, if you need wifi, this was a challenge for us at the time we were there. I would recommend statying here as it is a quite, peaceful and safe place. Bed is comfy and nice though facilities are generally average. There is AC that works. Ours was making a lot of noise though so we tried not to have it on all night but used to keep room very cool then go to bed. For the price you pay, this is a good place to stay though our budget, travelling from UK, may be different to locals.

Kaazmein Lodge and Resort is a beautiful safari lodge in Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Zambia with accommodation of high standard.
My wife and I stayed at Kaazmein for 5 days while visiting friends in Livingstone. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The property is beautiful and well cared for. November is hot in Livingstone, but there is good AC in the rooms, and the property itself with the grass, trees, and ponds is cooler. We would gladly stay again. Thank you for a great visit.

Opened its doors to guests in September 2011. It caters for both local and international clients. It has 13 spacious, well designed, self-contained, and air-conditioned rooms all with hot water supply. The clean and well-furnished double rooms in the main building start from $ 25.00 per night and the more spacious rooms are just from $ 50 to $ 60.00 per night. This is inclusive of breakfast.
I arrived. Lodge is far from city. Room I booked online was not the same. Bathroom had no decent shower and plumbing noisy. Moved to another room with interleading accessible door by staff and noisy plumbing. Shower slow goes cold, basin tap trickle of water. The most traumatic part of my spiritual journey was having money stolen from my wallet with me on the premises as there is no safe or even lockable cupboards. The person who robbed me had the gall to leave me only enough dollars for my transit journey to airport. The tour guide had to put my suitcase on truck in case the person decided to steal my suitcase due to lack of security. The owner showed absolutely no empathy didn't bother to call police and simply said its never happened before so that was that, he went from being a very considerate host to giving me the cold shoulder, charging me for dinner I wasn't able to eat because of my upset stomach, didn't bother to say thank you or goodbye or even find out if I had transport to airport. Very poor customer service and I found out there are hotels in the city for same rate he charges that has safes and lockable cupboards.

We spent a couple of nights here on our stay in Livingstone. If you are booking a place to spend the majority of your time in your hotel/hotel room, this might not be the place for you. We were there to sightsee and spend as much time with locals as we could. It worked perfectly for us. Very quiet and the staff was super friendly. The beds were very comfortable and comparable to what would be expected at more expensive places. The staff were super friendly to us and were very helpful in booking a booze cruise that was perfect for our budget. As for as the amenities in the lodge...the Mosi beer was plentiful, cold, and cheap! A great catalyst for some nice conversations on the crisp June nights around the pool! And I'll say it again...the staff were awesome!
