Reviewed By Naren21dxIt is a very chic and cozy hotel, with warm and wonderful hotel staff. I stayed in the Executive balcony, their room is as exactly as advertised in the their website. The bed is very comfortable. The hotel breakfast is simple and tasty. There are several local coffee joints and eateries around the hotel. Its a very fulfilling experience to spend to spend 6 nights at the Noble Swan Hotel.

Was slightly surprised when we initially reached the hotel as we had to carry our bags from the main road to the little lane where the hotel was located. However in the days to come, realised that the lane is quite clean and decently lit at night, so not too bad. One office travel agent at lobby Initially stayed on the second floor . A room facing some houses family with many chirlden and there was minor construction work going on. Not too noisy and they stopped work around 5pm. Overall, rooms were basic but clean. Toilets were large with bath. It was ok . i like it The hotel staff Mr Trung Manager helped in organising a city tour for us. Also kept our luggage for us when we went on our 3 day 1 night Halong Bay (i booked with the hotel) trip and had our room ready for us when we returned. . The city tour organised for us was ok, this was the first time I encountered a slightly friendly tour guide. Location wise, it is located about 2 minutes walk to church, which is at of the main Old Quarter district. Therefore, it is not right in the middle of the shopping area, so it is very quiet at night. I spoke to other travellers who were staying in the old quarter, near the ly quoc su Str area and they complained of annoying and noisy late night motorcycle races, however I personally did not witness any races when I was walking around that area. The hotel staff which were very friendly, helpful and did not force us to book any trips with them. Breakfast simple with coffee ,eggs , toast , butter , jam , fruit . with me is ok Pricing wise, I feel that USD 22 per night is ok with balcony room . I am grateful with the hanoi hotel lucky staff .i will come back again

Good for Budget stay
Reviewed By DLKTLocation - Not too ideal as still some distance from old quarters area but not far from airport. Rooms - For the price you pay, can't complain. Meals - only breakfast. but there are small eateries on the same stretch and around the corners. Have a google translator on hand, that's how we got our fried rice meal. Service - I have been with Mr Thanh of the hotel for 3 years. When he changed to this hotel, I followed him as he has proven to be helpful, honest and willing to see to your needs.

Reviewed By Philip dI have lived and worked in Vietnam for six years now and travel a lot with my work so hotels are just a part of the job. The vast majority are all pretty much the same and seem to copy each other. Hotels are so bland and average , The staff here are typical youngsters, going to uni and starting their lives, they are polite and friendly, they care for their customers as much as they are allowed to by their management and systems. All is very routine and as long as things run smoothly then all is fine. It is only when you have a request or a problem that things go pear shaped, Problem solving and decision making are nor high up the list on any Vietnamese's list so you will have challenges finding positive outcomes. So although the staff are lovely there are limits on customer service. The food is poor and identical to many hotels. Asians seem to accept low standards quite happily and as they are not confrontational by nature they just put up with whatever level and quality of food, service, whatever they are given. Whereas foreigners are much more assertive and confident in saying "Excuse me"... complaining is okay if done politely and respectfully. So food that is supposed to be eaten hot is actually cold and therefore eating is not as good an experience as it should be. Rooms are okay, the more expensive ones have a bath. the smallest rooms only a shower. Bits kept falling off mine and not repaired, l had the obligatory cockroach as a pet in the shower. I don't think the air cons actually have a service schedule so they are a potential health and safety risk. Rooms are relatively clean and tidy compared to some of the hovels l have had to suffer. It is over priced for what you get but then that is Vietnam all over. Charge a lot and give minimum viable product. Ah, the walls, the walls... they are paper thin and you have a lot of noise issues from other rooms as well as the playground opposite the hotel that plays blaring music all evening until 10 or 11 pm. If you want some peace and quiet then this hotel is not for you. Other than that it is fine.

Reviewed By Steve OFinishing up a 6 mo. stay at the Mayfair on a ST assignment. Not particularly impressed...very dated building, pool not heated and in the shade most of the day.. Staff does their best to provide good service though not very experienced. Problems like sewage smell in the bathroom persisted, tape over the drain didn't work. I had to move units and still had problems.. Was stuck with an internet bill from month 2 on the way out. No way to prove I didn't pay though believe i did. All in all I would look into staying at some of the other extended stay international brands if your budget allows, unless you really want to be on the edge of the old quarter near the action.

Dù mình hơi khó tính về chất lượng phòng, nhưng mình thấy phòng ở đây sạch sẽ, chất lượng chăn ga, đồ dùng tốt. Vị trí cũng thuận tiện, gần ngay chục đường lớn. Các bạn nhân viên rất hỗ trợ khách. Nếu có dịp cần, mình vẫn sẽ nghỉ tại đây.
