Tahiti and Bora Bora are the most well known French Polynesian islands, thanks to their picture-perfect beaches and romantic ambiance. Indeed, these islands are ideal for handholding, with their lush landscapes and mood-setting features like lagoons and grottos. The heart-shaped island of Mo’orea makes a wonderful base for divers and snorkelers eager to explore its surrounding barrier reef system. Feeding the massive, sacred eels of Huahine is a one-in-a-lifetime way to experience an important local ritual.

I loved my bungalow here! I found the staff to be super helpful. The owners run a great business and they are locals of the area. They come and pick you up from the airport, and they have a convenient location next to the town. They gave me a bike for free to tour around the island on and even dropped me off at a restaurant for dinner. Don’t forget to ask them for directions to the yummy (affordable) food trucks. They will also set you up with excellent, local tour guides. This is authentic Bora Bora! Excellent price point! It is a small, intimate hotel, so book it early! This hotel is worth supporting!

WOW. WOW. WOW. This was our best meal in Moorea. The food, the people and the scenery was perfect. Eating with your feet in the water and a beautiful tree providing shade takes you to paradise. We had the fried tuna with yummy greens beans that never tasted as good. The tuna was so fresh. Simple seasoning and very good flavor. The lobster was so tender and fresh. You could taste the ocean with every bite. The possion cru was soft and the sauce they used was delicious. And the homemade crème brulée was perfect. This restaurant is within walking distance from the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort. The best part if you visit during mango season you can pick up mangoes on the side of the road as you walk to Fare Meheata. Our server JULIEN was very friendly. He made us feel like family and was a really genuine guy. Learned so much about FP during our meal.

The lodge is a few kilometers away from City. The owner family is very friendly and helpful. The room is very basic without AC (extra charge 2000XPF/day). The fan is small and not really efficient, so it was quite warm during the night. There were a lot of ants in the room, not dangerous, but not nice as well. There are many dogs and cocs in the area therefore quite noisy in the night. The (continental) breakfast was acceptable. Good for 1-2 nights if you have a car.

A spacious home perched on the hillside with 4 lovely rooms all featuring a sublime panoramic view of the Raivavae lagoon, its motus or of the majestic mountain. The rooms all lead to the terrace outside. You can relax in the common room, partake of delicious local or international cuisine, and reserve all of your activities.
What an amazing time. Pension Vaimano features 4 bungalows situated on a hill overlooking Motu Piscine and it is spectacular. Our bungalow was spacious, comfortable, and clean. From our private deck, we had a great view of the lagoon and motu. There's fruit all around. Bicycles are available. You get a mini fridge for keeping your Hinano cold. And you get paradise. The pension is ran by Clarissa and she is a fantastic host. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Every meal we had was great. Multiple times during our stay Clarissa offered to drive us around Raivavae or to the market to get supplies. Her dogs are really friendly and were often found sleeping outside our bungalow at night. My wife also loved the puppies. Clarissa also arranged a trip to Motu Piscine with a picnic which was awesome. Raivavae is a special place. It is an unspoiled paradise. You could sit by the main ring road and maybe see 10 cars drive by during the entire day. While biking or walking, every person you pass waves. Its the perfect place to disconnect from the rest of the world. I would highly recommend visiting Raivavae and I would equally recommend staying with Clarissa at Pension Vaimano. I hope to be able to return one day.

Pension Maroi pleased us in every way ! We stayed one week with our 7 month old baby, they provided us with a crib for him. The property has a white sand beach across the bungalos. We chose the month of november because it was the lytchee season, we got to eat them right off the tree. Maire et Michel lent us a car for when we needed to go to other places around the island.

Taaroa Lodge have 6 Dormbed 1 Room 2pers and 2 Bungalow near the beach Nice Lagoon Nice Sunset See you
We stayed with Ralph and his family in one of the private garden bungalows. It was very clean and charming. I practiced yoga each morning from the large deck whole looking out at the lagoon. The snorkelling right out front was very very good! The hosts are friendly and warm and the location was lovely with nearby stores.

The room is OK, but looks a bit tired. There’s no trace of anything Polynesian about the room, it’s just a concrete block. The bed is comfortable, the hot water plenty, the air-conditioner works well but is noisy. There’s no internet in the room, only in the office during opening hours, and even there it’s too weak to use for anything other than checking emails (and barely that if you use Yahoo). The owner is Rose, now an octogenarian, and has become understandably somewhat unfocused. She has a local helper, Isabelle, who’s much better, but Rose likes to keep control and can be rather stubborn, which creates difficulties at times. (For example, she’d put my credit card into the machine the wrong way round, but hadn’t noticed and just insisted that it was my card at fault. When eventually she could be persuaded to have a closer look, she did notice, and then the card worked fine.) Other requests and conversations led nowhere, because she couldn't focus on what I was asking.

Our surf lodge is situated on over 5000 square yards of private tropical land. We are just a 2 minute walk to the most consistent surfing beach in Tahiti. We have a variety of rates and packages to suit any traveler. Clean, comfortable, safe, and affordable. Bi-lingual staff on site. Surf. Explore. Relax.
I booked the Taharuu surf lodge as a last minute weekend getaway and I wasn't sure what to expect. The property is an absolutely stunning, sprawling green with trees, coconuts, beautiful flowers and even a bunch of tiny baby chicks running around. The hosts were incredibly kind and generous. They even drove us to a reggae concert at a minutes notice and joined us for a beer. I was so comfortable in my room, with mosquito netting so I could keep my window open and enjoy the breeze. It's only one block away from a very popular surf break, super easy, convenient, wonderful place to stay. Their surf lodge is immaculately kept with the freshest fruit you will ever eat. 10/10, definitely coming back!

The lodge is relatively basic and the rooms did not have air conditioning (though thankfully it did cool off at night and was ok with the fan) but comfortable enough. What made this accommodation special was the way the owners took care of the guests - making them feel like part of their family. We took our dinners as well as the breakfast at the hotel which was a great way to start and end the day. The food was fresh and delicious and getting the stories from Willson made it all the more enjoyable (even with my mediocre French skills). There was a beach right across the street, though it was worth the walk to go 5 mins down the road to get more sand and a more pleasant swim. The hotel also offered bikes for use and also had a rental car.
