Dazzling fjords and vertiginous Andean peaks cover Chile's best-known region, turning this slim swath of land into a playground for skiing, whitewater rafting and trekking. To the north lies San Rafael Lagoon National Park with its impressive ice fields. In Patagonia's southern stretch, the city of Punta Arenas is the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park, which attracts serious climbers and casual day hikers to its granite peaks, glaciers and waterfalls.

Spend two nights at hotel Hallef on our visit to Torres del Paine. The hotel is clean with a comfortable bed and a friendly helpful staff. They provide breakfast and will serve you eggs as ordered. Had a room on the third floor just had to carry the luggage as there is no elevator.

Our stay here was a highlight of our 2 months in Chile - gorgeous rooms, great staff/5 star service, delicious meals, and plenty of healthy wine pours. Puerto Río Tranquilo is a special place, a true planetary wonder... we feel so lucky our travels took us here. We stayed here in Feb 2020 but TA won’t let me choose that date so just adding this caveat on the actual date. Wonderful memorable stay!

Location of this place is fantastic, as you can walk around the city and get to know beautiful Coyhaique city. Beds where completely clean, very comfortable and we really slept like babies after a day of full activity. Personnel so warm, starting at the front desk where you will probably find a big smile, and a warm welcome. Our cabin was very cozy, with flat TV, big closet and safe box included. Bathroom’s size was ok, not too tight, towels very clean but we found a couple of female hairs strands in the floor, so they need to improve the hygiene specially in that place. Next day, first thing in the morning, we found a real banquet for breakfast: yogurt, cereal, oats, natural juice, coffee, tea, warm milk, and a basket with fresh fruits, like pears and oranges. On the table: cheese and ham, jam, butter, crackers and they even brought scrambled eggs and toasts. Don’t forget to stop at the living room, where there is a very antique boiler, such a beautiful piece. Outside the hotel, in the corner of Bilbao Street, you will see plenty of places to eat, or have a creamy cup of coffee latte at the end of the day, on your way to Plaza de Armas. I will certainly stay here again.

What an amazing stay in Puerto Natales! This is definitely a hidden gem with the most friendly host who built this themselves. Loved the attention to detail, the personal service and the super clean rooms and amenities. I would definitely stay here again. The curio shop is also one of the better ones in town. Toore Patagonia is close to everything in town - so many restaurants in walking distance. We loved all the recommendations from the hosts and they even gave us a bowl of freshly homemade mayonnaise (as we arrived asking to direct us to the closest grocer) :). The stay was very affordable - excellent value for money. We could park our rental car in the street right outside the property - super safe.

The place has a great view of General Carrera lake. The room is modern and the beds are comfortable. Cleaning could be a little bit better, some utensils and shelf of the kitchen were a little bit dirty, but nothing that we couldn't clean before using. We didn't try the restaurant and the breakfast.

We invite you to explore the heart and soul of Patagonia, a place where the fresh air and clear waters join in harmony with a vast green forest, giving form to the rivers and fjords of the south of the world. Located 18 Km (11 Mi) North of the quaint town of Puyahuapi in the South of Chile, near the Carretera Austral and on the northern shore of Lake Risopatrón, El Pangue Lodge is nestled in the dense cold jungle, the native vegetation of the Chilean Patagonia, unique to this special part of the world. The Lodge is surrounded by the Queulat National Park, one of the most beautiful and iconic places in the Chilean Patagonia, known for it’s unspoiled beauty and magnificent scenery.
Unfortunately we stayed here for 2 nights with bad weather. You are sleeping in a small cottage closely to the main building. The cottages are ok, nothing fancy. The great thing is the pool and the hot tub when it is raining you have something to do. The down side was breakfast, very plane with toast, the usual cheese, ham and jam. Not something you would expect for the price you pay for this lodge.

As a couple, we have made a short stay in this wonderful Lodge, near Puerto Bertrand and Valle Chacabuco, where a natural reserve known as Parque Nacional Patagonia has been developed protecting puma, guanaco and foxes in an ancient Hacienda. We found great views of Baker river, modern styled individual rooms having a net of wooden paths between all of them at the style of Caleta Tortel (another amazing sight in the region) This is Patagonia at the highest level. We spent hours talking to Ignacio at the terrace, lots of insights, tips to visit and also great fresh tasty food. Thanks everyone! You have made an incredible Lodge!

Patagonia Acres Lodge is a multi-activity resort on the banks of Lake General Carrera. It is located in the port of the small town of Mallin Grande which is just 80 kilometers west of the town of Chile Chico. We provide upscale, fully equipped cabins along with unsurpassed views and personalized service. The structures are situated off the main road, in a private area surrounded by nature.
We really enjoyed our stay at Patagonia Acres. A two bedroom, two bathroom, cottage worked great for two couples travelling together. It was roomy, and the views were beautiful. The small deck facing the water was nice. And we appreciated the good hot water. The central lodge has a commanding view over the lake. Dinners were fairly priced and outstanding. Compliments to Valentina! So we ate here each night of our stay. Breakfasts were to the same standard. And there was a large lounge area, also overlooking the lake, to sit at and use Wifi. We got some beautiful sunset photos from the deck of the lodge. The property is expansive--they sell property and build private homes, and they keep sheep. We did some little hikes, and went fishing from the shore. Unfortunately, the sheep inhabit the little golf course (and you have to also keep an eye out for their droppings while walking around the lodge). Justin, the owner, was always around and willing to help people plan their days. We did a great hike in Patagonia National Park on the side closest to Argentina. It was a big drive to get there (the road to Chili Chico is one of the narrower and windier gravel roads we drove on in Patagonia, but the gravel road after Chile Chico was wide and straight). A great recommendation.

A Hostel in a warm rustic wooden style, built by his owner. Even the furniture, tables, beds, chairs are owner's hand-made.Here you will find a warm and friendly space in patagonia's most rainy place.Aside the hostel we have a handicraft shop with different objects made by owner's hostel
Beautifully decorated cabins, well-thought out furnishes and the kindest host Fernando and Milcha made our little Christmas stay at their warm wood cabin and really memorable one. Highly recommended! their cat and dog are simply adorable as well.

This hotel is immaculate, warm, welcoming with incredible decor and gourmet food. Right on the Serrano River, each room has a floor to ceiling window so you can watch the sunset. The lounge chairs on the deck allow for sipping cocktails or just enjoying the beauty of nature while you gaze upon the distant Torres del Paine terrain. The decor, with reclaimed heavy doors, warm lamps, and a gateway to this massive natural playground is run by Carolina, an incredible host for our adventure. Well worth the stay .
