Overall a good hotel but with issues. It’s a 15 minute walk from the centre but that’s ok. Bigger items …pool was dirty (no chlorine) , room was dirty and the lifts are needing replacement. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the location was good for the beach.

Sierra Brava is a dove hunting lodge located in Cordoba, Argentina. Sierra Brava offers record-setting Cordoba dove hunting in combination with first-class accommodations, world-famous cuisine, the industry’s most personable service and legendary hospitality…all at value-packed rates! While the ultra high-volume Argentina dove hunting might be Sierra Brava’s biggest draw, the friendly and authentic lodge atmosphere makes the experience unforgettable.
My 15 year old son and I just recently returned from a trip to Sierra Brava. We arrived on April 4th and departed on April 9th. We hunted for a half day on the afternoon of arrival and for 4 full days thereafter. In short, we had an absolutely amazing experience! We are from GA, love dove hunting, and have heard so much about the hunting in the Cordoba region. Our expectations were high and every expectation was met and/or surpassed! So many birds it is nearly impossible to explain. Only 1 day of our hunting was 'slow' by Argentina standards and there were still far more birds than we have ever seen on any hunt in the US. 2 of our full day hunts were truly spectacular, potentially once in a lifetime experiences, with clouds of dove and non-stop shooting. I was completely overwhelmed and so thankful to be able to be able to share the experience with my son. Not in my wildest dreams had I imagined that both my son and I would shoot more than 1000 birds in a single day. Well, he and I both did so on 2 separate days. On the best day of our trip, we actually both stopped shooting early during the morning and afternoon sessions (the birds were still flying like crazy!). Much like the hunting itself, the lodge experience was first class. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and possess a certain rustic charm that is hard to convey with words. Area surrounding the lodge is gorgeous. The food was great as well - excellent preparation and presentation. Plenty of food and drinks always available, including scheduled afternoon snacks after returning from hunting. I would be remiss without mentioning the fine people we met at the lodge. Everyone was so nice and did their absolute best to ensure a great trip from start to finish. They do in fact treat you like family. Topo and Daniel were both great hosts, going above and beyond to meet our every need while at the lodge. And while in the field, our 'bird boys' George and Matthew provided everything we could possibly want. No question, the 'bird boys' contributed much to the hunting experience - enthusiastic, expert rapid loaders, and simply fun people to be around. I will also say that both my son's and my shooting improved markedly over the course of a few days in part due to the plentiful shooting opportunities but also due to a few simple suggestions from the 'bird boys'. We amassed far more wing shooting experience in 4.5 days than we would in a decade of hunting in GA. Of note, the lodge provides some pictures and video for the guests for a small fee. Well done and I highly recommend it. We will cherish the pictures and video for years to come. My son and I are already dreaming of a return trip, which we hope to take sometime over the next couple of years. This trip was truly one of the best times of my life and and an unforgettable Father-Son experience. Thank you Sierra Brava!

We are a high volume dove hunting lodge located in Cordoba, Argentina. Los Chanares is a 9,000 acre property that includes the most prized dove shooting property in all of Cordoba. With exclusive access and control of this area, Los Chanares hunters enjoy high-volume shooting just 5-10 minutes from the lodge. In addition to the entirely unique shooting experience, Los Chanares offers a lodging experience second to none. Luxurious amenities abound at Los Chanares and the service is on par with the world’s most exclusive hotels.
This was my third time visiting Los Chanares and my second time organizing groups of 15+ hunters/friends/family to join me. The most recent trip Feb 24-27 was amazing. All of my guest had a wonderful time. I had wonderful time outside of all the extra Covid requirements to make sure everyone could travel. Yes, the quantity of birds are off from years past but there are still lots of birds non the less (this is just part of hunting). I personally can say there are more then enough birds to shoot, because I now have a shirt that says 3000 club on it. Many others in our group shot a couple 1000 birds each as well. The quality of shooting ranged from easy to extremely challenging depending on where we were placed. After every hunt every came back with smiles on their faces. Because of how the birds are moving we did travel one afternoon about a half hour or so to hunt from the lodge. That afternoon both my friend and I hunting together shot 47 boxs of shells each and both had over a 1000 birds confirmed each. It was an amazing afternoon. Our shoulders and body's were feeling it, but well worth all the fun we had. With that the hunting in my opinion was great and only 1 part of the amazing experience we had. The other part of the experience was the lodge, its staff, the food/drinks and time spent with great friends and my uncle. The service at this lodge is over the top and everyone is extremely friendly. The chef is amazing and kept us all well fed. Whatever we needed, it was taken care of for us. Alex the owner and Juan were very interactive with our group and made sure we were constantly happy. My guest and I had such an amazing time that I have already reserved the lodge next year at this time to do it again.

Posta del Norte is one of the premier dove hunting lodges in Argentina. Perfectly situated between the two most prized dove roosts in Cordoba, Posta offers superb shooting year-round. Posta has always been a client favorite for its amazing dove hunting and its privacy. The lodge can be reserved with just four clients. There is no additional surcharge for private rooms. This is ideal for families, small groups of friends and corporate outings.
Spent 3 days at Posta Del Norte in late Feburary. Had a great time--great organization, food was excellent. Enjoyed the "hot tub" after each day with great appetizeres and drinks before dinner. We had great shooting every day. Some were more challenging in the wind but each day someone in our group shot >1000 birds and one day we had 4 people on the same field get >1000. We rented the Benelli 20 gauges from them, which I highly recommend with this volume of shooting. Ammo was excellent with NO misfires over 3 days. Highly recommended-- and will come back!

This place is NOT what the pictures and the past reviews tell you. It might have been in the past, but it is not anymore, it is run down and the food is not good. You can tell that in the last 2 years there has been a lot of damage to the place and service. They keep charging top dollar for something that it is not. The food is not good and the service is not what I am guessing it once was. We had a terrible night. It seems like a tree has overgrown the cabin we were staying in and it banged against the roof of the room the entire night not letting anyone sleep. It has an easy fix but it seems like they are not willing to spend another dime in the place. When talking with the staff the next morning they told us it was a problem that bungalow had (number 10) they told us that bungalow 14 has the same problem on windy nights. Once we left the place i contacted management to let them know about our terrible night and they denied knowing about the problem... the problem that the staff at the place clearly told us they knew about. This place is not to be trusted. I am attaching a picture of the tree that has overgrown and got stuck in the cabin. When the wind blows like it does in the Delta, at night, the tree moves and bangs in the roof of the cabin, in the cabin it sounds loud enough that no one ever could sleep. I also feel the need to let people know about the smell in the bungalows, as soon as you go in, you will smell that terrible smell of cheap detergent that you will find the need to open every window and door of the room for the rest of the day with the hopes that it will go away, it will not. When asked the staff if maybe it was one of those plug-in ambient perfumes, (hoping we could just unplug it), they told us that it was the strong smell of the laundry and that the smell was impregnated in the sheets and bed covers. This was true. It was not a pleasant smell it was so strong and so bad that it took hours to get use to it. To all this add the fact that the staff all leaves at night so if you come out of your cabin at say, 2am, you won’t find anyone there to help you or assist you. It really is a shame that they let this place go. I can’t stress it enough, don’t be fooled by the great pictures and the nice reviews from the past. I strongly recommend you don’t go to this place, it is not worth it, but if you decide to go anyway, please make sure you don’t get stuck in room 10 or 14...

When I think about the perfect family vacations I won't hesitate on telling you that La Colonia is the first thing that comes to my mind. This is a Resort made for Banco Provincia employees and their families but, you can enjoy it as a friend also. My grand father, my father, myself and now my little daughter had the chance to spend awesome vacations thanks to the hospitality of the employees. The waiters there are the soul of the resort, always willing to help you. Great views, tennis courts, paddle courts, basketball pitch, 11 player soccer field, church, inner and outer hated swimming pool, sauna, own creek, gym, more and more and more. I can't wait to go back.
