Two cousins who have seen each other only on Bairam holidays and winter breaks since their childhoods decided to rescue their grandmother Rukiye Hanım’s old wooden house from burning down or collapsing, and they started the restoration process of the building as a first step. After that, everything occurred in rapid succession. The mansion kept calling for the two cousins… So a journey began. The rest of the story is is similar to the legend of Kaf Mountain where the sultan requests everything that comes to mind from the prince that his daughter is going to marry. The restoration process of Kaf Konak began in 2010. As a result of this process, the damages of time and the additions that have been made by the users have been eliminated. The mansion was restored to its original architecture. After that the techniqal equipment was installed according to the modern-day requirements with minimum interference and with respect to the architectural value of the mansion.

Reviewed By melisc2014Kaf Konak is a hidden gem in Bartin with friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. We would definitely stay at this exact spot for future stays. Their bar/restaurant at the backyard is nice and comfortable with a nice garden view. We recommend their large rooms as there is more space.

Terrible service, smelly room
Reviewed By FGAkpacaWe had a terrible experience trying to stay at Kristal Butik Hotel. We had booked a suite with two bedrooms for 4 people ahead of time on Hotels.com, but when we arrived at the hotel, the owner only had a cramped, smelly room with 3 beds available for us. To make matters worse, he started arguing with us that the room was "good" and we would have to wait another hour if we wanted the room we had booked (even though it was already after 8 pm). He had required us to pay in full before even seeing the room and refused to give us a refund. We were compelled to leave the hotel and find another place to stay despite it being after dark. The man at the front desk had no shame about his complete lack of hospitality and customer service. I was appalled, as it was honestly the worst hospitality experience I've ever had in Turkey, where most business owners are extremely accommodating and warm.

Reviewed By Belkis75We stayed 3 nights with children. It was like our house. It was so clean. Everything was new. It has a very nice view. Owners were nice people. Pricing is also so cheap. No parking problem. I advise you to stay there.

Reviewed By TrippyDSNeat little apartment with 2 bedrooms 2 toilets and a kitchenette, perfect for a family or a group of friends! The owner was super friendly and helpful, she spoke very good english and was very generous too! My bus wasnt until late at night so she let me have the apartment for pretty much an extra half a day without charge (i was travelling in low/shoulder season though). Has TV and good WIFI, a short walk to everything (amasras pretty small anyhow). Highly recommend this place!

Amasra Metin Hotel, denize sadece 100 metre mesafede yer alan tesis, Bartın’ın Amasra ilçesinde yer almaktadır. Tesiste her sabah kahvaltı açık büfe olarak servis edilir. Otel bünyesindeki otopark alanından tüm misafirler ücretsiz olarak faydalanabilirler. Amasra Metin Otel toplamda 19 konaklama birimi ile hizmet veren tesisin odalarının her birinde manzaralı balkon vardır. Merkezi ısıtma sistemine sahip olan tüm odalar geniş ve aydınlıktır. Konaklama birimlerinin hepsinde bulunan özel duşlu banyolar havlu ve saç kurutma makinesi içerir. Odalarda misafirlerin konforu için uydu kanalları bulunan düz ekran televizyon mevcuttur. Reviewed By Teodora MYou get sick in this hotel. It is very dirty, the electricity went out 10 times a day, they dont speak english. We paid for 2 double rooms, for 3 days, but we left the second day. We also had breakfast included but we didnt dare to try it. We hope that they will pay someone to clean the rooms with the money for the 2 nights/2 rooms that they have left from us, cause of course they havent give us the money back. Do not go there. One room is 250 lira per night. It is not worth it at all.
