Reviewed By devjayakodyA very warm welcome was given. The room was spacious. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and always helpful to us. What made me love this place was when we came late after a religious activity at around 11:30pm ,, the staff members were still awake and welcomed us. Thank you.

Friendly staff, really tasty food and all the facilities worth for what you have spent. Owners were pleasnt enough to provide any needs when asked. Rooms are clean and the garden is nice though it's not that big. In rainy seasons better to keep a citronella spray with you to avoid misquotes when in outside. Inside is sealed and safe from mosquitoes.

The family is one of nature's masterpieces and "Kutumbaya' signifies family. We have designed our villa in a manner which would enrich the true meaning of family where each room has been designed to include a small kitchenette and all other amenities required to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one. The villa is located within a short 5 minute walk from the main Anuradhapura (New Town) bus stand and is a 8 minute walk from the Anuradhapura Railway Station. In addition to the in-house a-la-carte restaurant, several other eateries, food outlets and restaurants are located within close proximity.
Perfect Example of an Excellent Resort in Anuradhapura

The owners Ms Thara and Mr Ranga together with their lovely mom were really helpful and friendly from the point of making the booking. Great staff who knew how to serve the customer. The family room which I book regularly has ample space was well equipped and spotless. Bathroom tiled with stones give a natural feeling. If you look forward to prepare offerings to Lord Buddha, room is equipped with a small pantry and sink. I must say the location of the resort is at one of best places in Anuradhapura. When someone want to visit the Pooja City they can avoid the town from this location and reach the site within 10 minutes. Restaurant staff were excellent. They made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Food was tasty. Once we return from our visits, it was so convenient to have the restaurant at the resort. Excellent hospitality.

Fantastic homestay in Anuradhaphura
Reviewed By Orlaith GWe stayed here for one night in Anuradaphura and really enjoyed our time here. The family running the homestay are so friendly and helpful, preparing an impromptu lunch for us on arrival and making a delicious dinner for us in the evening. They also organised a brilliant tuk-tuk driver for us to see the sights of Anuradhaphura and Mihintale, making sure that we could make the most of the very short amount of time we had there. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep there. Highly recommend this spot!

This is a newly build two storied luxury hotel. You can get a different type of experience of this hotel. picturesque scene can be viewed behind the house and peacocks & various type of birds gather in the paddy fields, you can relax with calm and serene environment.

Reviewed By SunilKeppetipolaOur Annual visit to the holy city of Anuradhapura. We were in Anuradhapura on the 7th & 8th of August 2018 and stayed @ Lake Monark. The accommodation provided was very good. Room was kept clean. The manager & service staff was very courteous. The Srilankan food provided was of standard. Maybe we will make another visit to this place next year too. Recommend this place for people who visit Anuradhapura for religious purpose.

Reviewed By jovitaj846We stay here 3 nights.Amazing location by the lake,its nice beach sandy,so you will enjoy swiming every day.we took all the rooms,so 3 rooms is Lux style,with view and everything you need,rest of them in main building,good aswell.If you whant to have traditional or even not traditional food ,fruits the Owners can arange and cook for you.We had lunch it was amazing.The wifi is very good .In the house where is terrace,you can have nice dinner or you can have yoga session.Enjoy your stay here its really worth it.❤???❤
