Reviewed By NauticalVoyagerOk - first up, they are in low season, so are doing a lot of renovations but that did not detract too much from our stay. The 2 bedroom unit was spacious and has most facilities to make your stay very comfortable. The dining service was all a'la carte with an evening limit on what could be ordered if you book DBB. The restuarant was VERY slow despite having almost no patrons. Our dinner took over 2 hours, which might sound romantic, but with a restless 3 year old quickly became an issue and we had to order our dessert to go. This slow service continued into breakfast and this is the main reason for a 3 star review. The breakfast selection does not match a 4* hotel and was very basic. Apart from that, the loaction is a dream and the walk to the beach with private access was excellent as was the small kids play area. The beach is still very littered from storms a few weeks ago but still very pleasant to stroll. The receptionist cautioned us not to go to the beach after dark due to safety concerns - this in itself was alarming as we often enjoy an evening beach walk. It wasnt clear if this was from a security point of view or a weather one. Finally usually ANEW members get a free upgrade (on availability) but when we called before booking, we were advised that this was not possible at this property despite being empty the night we visited and so just booked an upgraded room. Covid protols very relaxed and not all staff wore masks - not sure if this is no longer mandated or just lax.

To say she’s far beyond her years and natural ability to excel in this sort of environment for the betterment of her surroundings, I will indeed take my hat off to her and bow my head. She is graceful with so much love to offer in her immediate placement, Nkwazi Backpackers is one of the most progressively beautiful bountiful sustainable permaculture farms I have come to hold so dearly in my heart. Sarah Kathleen Long has a insightful longing to proof herself in her abilities, and I wish to state and show my unwaivering support in her endeavours in this field as she has brought this place true unconditional love which shines through everything she does, she’s distinctive and not your A-typical character especially because permaculture isn’t a 4x4 box of universal plug-n-play solutions that will work anywhere, it takes someone dynamic and driven. Sarah makes the most incredibly delicious veg meals straight from the garden and works incredibly hard. She deserves appreciation with the highest regard. Sarah I wish you success in everything you do. Bed and Breakfast and or Holiday Home (self catering). Sleeps 10. Seats 20. Panoramic views over the Indian Ocean. 2 roads up from the beach. 45 km from Kind Shaka airport. 20 minutes to Ballito. 1 hour to Richards Bay.
Detox Yoga Retreat
Reviewed By TarrynC45I hosted my yoga retreat here and it was spectacular!! Pinky was so helpful and she taught me so much about hosting a retreat.... Zinkwazi Hotel Excellent Stay
Reviewed By ronelputterWe had an awesome Stay. Thank you for accommodating our Group all together. We had our own Braai facility. One Suggestion is to have a Braai Light for the Braai in the corner and a little small wash basin to rinse something. Otherwise all GOOD.

Zinkwazi Beach great views self catering units that have good parking and are private. Walking distance from the main beach and guests can use canoes on the lagoon and fishing skis on the beach. Lots of activities recommended by hosts based on weather.
