Reviewed By BerndLesoineVery nice and tidy rooms. Close to the shores of Casamance-River. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Breakfast was gorgeous, apart from the artificial (no-)orange juice. Only cash-payment accepted (Euro or CFA) . You get the best price booking directly with the hotel. Good african food at the restaurant.

Reviewed By mikaelg883Don't trust this hotel – they added fake charges to my final bill and the staff were oh so incredibly rude. The wifi does not work on iPhones.. Otherwise bed was very comfortable and setting peaceful.

Reviewed By KhamliaI have already stayed at this Casa Motel twice before so I did it this time again. It is outside the city which is very chaotic with a lot of people and traffic. So Casa Motel is a real oasis where you can experience a nice and green environment, rooms, staff and owners. My friend is handicapped so it's perfect for him too, the staff are so helpful and we get served both dinner and breakfast right outside our room. The room is not big but spacious in any case, nice bathroom so it is convenient to spend our time there. It's clean everywhere, wifi works very well. It is a ceiling fan so if it is hot it feels nice and cool in the room. There is a large terrace where breakfast is normally served and from there are fantastic views to the river. I highly recommend staying at this place. Not so far to town, you can walk or take a taxi if you are without your own car.

Reviewed By Marc vwe stayed with our family for 3 nights . Rooms are comfortable and clean. Beautiful swimming pool and garden . It is a pitty that people from outside the hotel are allowed to use to swimming pool , which creates sometimes a crowdy atmosphere , especially when a school comes ... Food in the restaurant can be bettter

très bon souvenir de ce bel endroit
Reviewed By nicole ble campement parait gigantesque. Seulement 10 chambres, un lit, un chevet, une petite table, et de la terre battue recouverte de sable fin. La cuisinière est au petit soin pour ses invités. Nous lui donnons un coup de main pour éplucher les pommes de terre, que nous mangerons avec du poisson...Nous sommes chez les animistes.... ni musulman, ni chrétien, mais animiste.. J ignorai cette religion, avant d' arriver au Sénégal.... Lorsque je dis à Konakry, le chef responsable du village, que je ne mange plus de viande depuis plus de 10 ans par respect de l animal, il éclate de rire, en se moquant .... il a vue en moi, la dingue de France, et nous explique le sacrifice de l animal, lorsqu'ils ont un souhait a réaliser, aussi bien, l' arrivée de la pluie, ou pour une femme mariée qui ne peut avoir d enfant;.....Pas facile de comprendre, pour nous.... Le village est grand, et plusieurs familles vivent dans les grandes cases. Ceci dit nous avons passé 2 nuits, dans ce grand campement.... Des enfants m'ont demandé des chaussures,malheureusement, je n avais que des billes et des ballons....

Slightly Overpriced
Reviewed By TorgutPtI stayed here because I had to. It was the only hotel with a free bedroom the day I arribed in Ziguinchor. I paid around 40 Euros which I found it a bit over the reasonable considering the state of the hotel and the room. This said, there were all the expected amenities: AC, hot running water, a good bed, Wi Fi, . However, for that price I would expect a working TV and a generator able to prevent the power cuts every 30 minutes. The food at the restaurant was outstanding. Staff was OK and the reception manager could speak good English.

Attaccato ad un bar con le prostitute
Reviewed By Italia33Questo locale è attaccato ad un bar con le prostitute, che usano qualche camera di questo hotel. Su internet lo trovate anche con il nome di ostello, ma non ha nulla del classico ostello. Vi ho dormito 2 notti, la seconda notte, fino alle 3:30 c'erano le prostitute con dei clienti che facevano tanto baccano, impedendomi di chiudere occhio. Per quello che offre è caro, non merita il costo.

Cheap in city centre
Reviewed By jazz12354Ndaary Khassoum won't win any prizes for decor but it's perfectly good if you are the backpacker type. Rooms are clean, the two beds I tried were fine, bathroom was clean with shower and Western type loo (which was flushed with a bucket in one of the rooms I stayed in), and a bucket of water for bathing in case supplies are temporarily down. Which they were... The staff is friendly and helpful but speak only French. I paid 11,000 (Dec 2018) for a room with fan and including a simple breakfast, it'd be 13,000 for two persons and aircon rooms are 4,000 more. It was impossible to find anything else in that price range in or near the city centre.
