I took my wife on holiday to Jelgava. I was pleased with my stay and recommend to try out this place at least once in your life. The staff were really nice and Linda at the reception helped us out with the neighbourhood. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Rooms well decorated. City is quite and with a breath-taking view. Loved smoking on the balcony at the end of the hallway, great view of the closed garden. Unfortunately spa or massages are unviable of covid. However, sauna was available and nice.

This place is amazing. Its close to Palace. The yard is so nice we spend all evening just sitting in the sun. Dog had fun relax on the grass near pond. Thre is swings and batut for kids. You can grill your own food too. It's quite and lovely place with own character. Cottage is old but well maintained. Beds are comfortable. There is plenty what to do in the cottage. Breakfast that is the rock!!! Very fresh and tasty and most importantly value is great. Thank you for having us. We will remember for a long time and definitely will recommend to everyone.

This is one of the best countryside mansions in Latvia. Plenty of options for indoor and outdoor activities, including the best restaurant and bar in the area of Bauska and Rundale. You should book at least two nights to catch the nice feeling of this area. However, near mansion you will find one of the best spots for catching some fish. We enjoyed every second of the stay and looking forward to visit it again.

An ok hotel for a small Latvian town. Built in a Sovjet era style. Simple standard on the rooms but clean and quite newly renovated. Easy to acess with the parking lot just in front of the entrance. Walking distance to restaurants and town center.

The hotel is located in the heart of Bauska, near the bus station, between two rivers Musa and Memele, which together form Lielupe river. The hotel is in the middle of Bauska intensive transport and pedestrian infrastructure. Rija Bauska Hotel is just 67 km from the capital city - Riga. The hotel is a favourite of tourists and business persons, who travel to Baltic countries by the Via Baltic road (A7), which is just 150 m from the hotel. Rija Bauska Hotel fully conforms to European standards of 3 star hotels. Hotel offers 78 modern furnished rooms, two conference rooms, lobby, restaurant with bar and parking for the hotel guests.
A dated building that could never realistically be raised to any top level. However, investment and effort deserve custom and understanding. I found a very basic somewhat worn room, but clean and well kept. Service was charming and speedy with a lovely evening meal.

When you start the walk of the 3 kilometer pare foot, your foot will get hurt a lots relaxing little !!! Stones mud wood water everything you can think of ,, it takes about 2 hours more or less ,and make sure u get the spa for your foot afterwards,,, it cost about 10 Euro pp ,, then when you finish and walking you will then feel the difference!!!! Unbelievable experience and well recommended if you visit Latvia ??

We travelled with a family, but I would suggest this place for a couple. Restaurant is good, a hotel itself is well designed, rooms are clean. Old mill excursion is interesting. Staff tries to be polite, but when you ask for something, they seem to get nervous. Breakfast offer is very poor. Tea was not available. Water was terrible - I can accept smelling water in the bathroom, but it is totally not acceptable on the breakfast table for drinking (even with a lemon :) ).

Great place to stay! Very clean room. Beautiful rustic room decor. Convenient fridge in room. Walking trails in back of hotel. Easy drive to Riga. Restaurant on hotel property and another restaurant across street. Absolutely recommend!

This hotel should not be rated as a traditional hotel, but a historical reconstructed manor. As such it is lovely preserved and a nice experience. The rooms are nice and the surroundings / views peaceful and beautiful. It will most probably make a perfect venue for a wedding or some other celebration! The only thing that bothered us were the squeky and rattling (metal spring) beds :) other than that - it was a lovely stay. A short distance (20 min drive) away from Pils Rundale (Rundale Palace) so perfect for a historic trip and overnight stay as well. the breakfast was plentyful (even a bit too much :))
