Reviewed By RebmexI wanted to really like this hotel, but there were issues. First off the reservation that I made on Expedia for an Executive room wasn't. And no one was interested in making me whole. They just shrugged it away. It was no where close to the 35 square meters described. No desk, cramped sink area, hardly room to put anything, and only three hangers. It is impossible to put on makeup in the mirror, as a strong spot from the ceiling hitting the back of my head left my whole face in shadows. The shower was nice but sprayed all over the room. There was one hook for towels when there was space to put many more or even a towel rack. A second person could not enter the shower area if the other was at the sink. We had a balcony which faced the interior courtyard, even though it brought in light, it also acted as funnel for any noise on all three floors amplified. We removed the comforters and folded it up. The next day it was back on the bed to remove again. The location on Google maps is not correct. Instead search for Casa Carmelita, the restaurant that connects to the hotel (which is very good and not on Tripadvisor). The restaurant was there first and the hotel is build on the former patio and is shoe horned into the block. Thus, I believe that no room in the hotel has an outside window making very dark rooms. The good points, the valet parking, most of the staff, the restaurant, the common areas, the cleanliness and especially the location. Walk out the door and you are 1/2 block from the Plaza..

A very good value hotel and convenient for business travel
Reviewed By jrwshngtnThis is a very good value hotel. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The staff was professional, courteous, and very helpful. The rooms are a little dated but secure and comfortable. The wifi should be upgraded to have sufficient signal strength in the rooms. Parking is ample and secure. The pool is large and well maintained. We held a business presentation there with 60 atendees and the facilities were very adequate.

The amplitude of the superior rooms and the beautiful view from your balcony will make you feel fresh and relaxed ambiance. The luxury suites offer a particularly Mexican environment. We are sure that the breakfast buffet included in the room rate you will love! It is the best in town with delicious regional flavors. Will always be a pleasure for us to assist you!
Nice but noisy hotel at Zamora
Reviewed By Miguel-Torres-CisnerFrom the lobby to the room, the hotel is clean, with big green areas, a big parking lot, nice and smiling people working at. My room was clean, with light and fresh air enough. Nevertheless, my room was so noisy, because from it I could hear voices and noises from other rooms which were so unpleasant at 7:00 am on Sunday. One of these noises was an impressive buzz coming from something like a drill or pump. Also, I think the breakfast should include some typical local food as corundas or uchepos.

The hotel is close to restaurants, banks and shopping malls. Only 10 minutes from the down town and the majestic Santuario de Guadalupe. Our concept is "hotel plan without food". Spacious and comfortable rooms with the right price. Private bathroom, free internet, business center and the best service will make your stay pleasant. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IN ZAMORA
Reviewed By danelis04Our family booked a three (3) night stay at this hotel, which was recommended to us by a family member. it is a nice clean room with two full size beds. First thing we noticed in both rooms was: 1. The difficulty in flushing the toilets as the buttons for flushing are really, really hard, so hard that the male in our group had to press down on the buttons for us in two separate rooms. 2. The TV did not work right, we had to exhange the remote twice before we could turn the TV on and even then, the TV would not turn off unless we removed the electronic key in the room to turn everything off. That being said, there were no "DO NOT DISTRUB SIGNS" that we could put on our doors for both rooms and when we requested them, we were told to "look for the hangers" in our room by the reception desk. We NEVE found the signs. For the first three (3) nights that we we're there, housekeeping went into both rooms and cleaned them. Our issue with that wat he fact that housekeepng was moving our stuff and gong into our suitcases to put things back into them, ie; pillows, make upcases , jewelry...etc. We did ask the front desk to let housekeeping know to please not touch our things, but it continued. After our original first booking of the three (3) nights, we ended up booking two more nights, due to change in travel plans. We paid for both nights and it was charged to the reit card right away. On our 1st night of our second booking, there was no internet service available thorughout the hotel. We had to take three exams and for one of us, we nedeed to get reports for work out. We tried for over four (4) hours to get service. The reception desk was helpful to a certain degree. They informed us that the engineer was not coming in until the next day and that they couldnt bther him after hours. We were given different passwords and told that certain floors had better better internet reception. We even asked to be transferred to different rooms (at our expense) but never heard back. Needless to say, we lost testing and grades and one of us was severly reprimanded for not turning in the work on time We decided to leave the hotel and look for a different place. We notifired reception to please cancel our last night there and to please only charge us for the one night. We were informed by the reception desk that the General Manager denied our request and that we would be charged for the both nights. We asked to speak to the GM adn he said that the internet servie was a free service (like the coffee, which by the way, there is NONE provided, even though our booking said they offered free breakfast as well) and that there would be no refund. When we told him that we would be writing FOUR (4) reviews about the service, he yelled back that if we did that, he would make sure that we would not be able to book hotels in ALL of Mexico City, let alone ge discounts if we tried, we aksed him what kind of discounts they had offered us, as we had paid full price for the bookings, he started yelling again about what he could do to us. At that point, we put the phone and let him keep talking. We received a call about an hour later from one of the receptonist, saying that we would be getting reimbursed for one night. We are still wating to get our reimbursement. I would NOT recommend this hotel and their services at all.
