Moored up next to the pub last weekend and asked if they could do a variation of their carvery for non-meat eaters (odd I know), and they did us proud. Hats off to the young chef Kaine, who looked after us. Equally enjoyed by the meat eating part of the group. Nice pint too. Look forward to calling in again when we next pass by on the boat.

Blyth Travelodge surely is the jewel in the crown. Although a budget hotel, we had a first class stay which represented exceptional value for money. A warm welcome, efficient reception, spotless room, comfortable bed and a quality high performing shower. The manager, Dave, runs a guest-focussed hotel where nothing is too much trouble.

The Angel inn is one of the oldest inns in England. We have seven en-suite bedrooms all with Wi-Fi, music docking stations and tea and coffee facilities. The pub is family run and a home from home feel. The food is homemade English with a daily specials board and the chefs will cater with any special request or dietary requirements. The pub has a large car park and beer garden with a patio area where you can enjoy your food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. The Angel is great for business users for accommodation as its close to the A1M. With Worksop, Doncaster, Sheffield, and Rotherham all under 30mins drive away. The Angel is a traditional pub with real ales (B.R.A.G. recognised)and fine wines all reasonably priced. We have a family area with highchairs, and cater for parties of all sizes
Great pub and dog friendly if you eat outside which wasn't a problem for us, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was perfect and reasonably priced with lots of choice, I had fish and chips and partner had burger, which looked delicious so I will be trying that next time we go

We are a pub / restaurant and offer a mix of standard and ensuite rooms. All rooms are clean and comfortable.
This public house with rooms has very good accommodation for the price paid however do not expect much more i.e. breakfast. Ideally located for Worksop Railway Station which is opposite the hotel with connections to Sheffield, Meadowhall, and Leeds together with Retford, Lincoln, and Nottingham. Bus departs opposite for Rotherham and Barnsley. The town centre is a ten-minute walk away where you will locate some shops, bars, and restaurants. The central location does have one downside if you are allocated a room on the main road you will have heavy traffic noise throughout the night and as you are also above the bar, I experienced loud music until close to midnight on a Wednesday night. The pub is a traditional ‘boozer’ which offers food in the evenings, drinks until late and satellite TV The rooms were a really massive positive surprise as walking to my allocated residence for the night through the corridors and communal areas it did not inspire confidence in what to expect given the rundown décor and poor cleanliness which culminated with a pile of dirty laundry bags being located outside the room. However, the room was excellent, especially the extremely comfortable bed which had clean crisp linen and superb five-star pillows. Traditionally decorated and very clean. The television was small yet functioned well and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The hot drinks tray was very good. The bedroom benefited from an in-room sink however the main bathroom and toilet were just across the landing which was also very first-rate and exceptionally clean; the shower was more than acceptable in terms of power and you got fantastic fluffy large towels also. Overall, I am going to recommend the Station Hotel, especially given the price that I paid for the stay.

Very nice hotel in the centre of Worksop. Staff very friendly and helpful both before and during the stay. The room was very good quality with an extra large very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great with a wide choice. The car park is a little tricky to find, accessed through a public car park at the rear. Unfortunately there was no hot water or heating in the morning, hopefully just an isolated incident!

Clumber Park Lodges is an exciting new holiday park that has recently opened this July. It is nestled peacefully amidst the rolling countryside and scenic woodland in one of England’s best-loved and most majestic areas – Robin Hood Country. Far from the hustle and bustle of modern day living, picturesque countryside and scenic walks unfold from your doorstep. Clumber Park is part of the National Trust and is a beautiful expanse of parkland, heath and woods which cover more than 3,800 acres. There is so much to explore and discover, from the mosaic of habitats to the fantastic array of wildlife. Picture postcard villages are a mere stone’s throw away, where quaint shops and traditional pubs await discovery as you choose the pace of your holiday. For those seeking a little more adventure, the world-famous Sherwood Forest and vibrant city of Nottingham are within easy reach as are the wealth of leisure attractions, such as the Hawkes of steel, Tropical Butterfly House and Go Ape. Our accommodation is of the highest standard boasting contemporary interiors and spacious living areas. Many thoughtful touches have been added such as bubbling hot tubs to provide an unforgettable holiday experience.
We have just come back from Clumber Park Lodges it is a lovely retreat holiday nestled in a quiet woodland area. It was only opened in 2019 so new, there has been trees planted for privacy but there only still young trees so not very big as yet. We could not fault our log cabin, the hot tub was clean and checked every morning. We went with small children and they really enjoyed their stay, there was lots of play areas for them at the places we visited such as Sherwood Forest, Steam Train, Clumber Park National Trust and Bolsover Castle. The weather was nice & we had a superb stay there.

From the welcome to departure, I could not fault the Cassia Rooms accommodation. The warm friendly greeting preceded an excellent stay in wonderful, serviced accommodation; my king room was superb contained everything that you require for a short or extended stay; excellent Wi-Fi and smart TV complimented by an amazingly comfortable bed with lovely linen; the en-suite bathroom was large, particularly good shower. The added amenity of the shared kitchen, lounge and dining room with microwave, refrigerator, cooker was fabulous addition. Location is on the southern edge of the town centre, which is in easy walking distance, there is a car park adjacent to the accommodation, the train station is found on the other side the town and is a good walk away (tip: take a taxi). Can say nothing bad about this excellent place to stay and highly recommend you enjoy it as much as I did,

Hello, the owner of my lodging in Worksop said I had to get a refund by booking. The situation was that I couldn't enter the quarters because the person I lived with closed the door without pulling the key from the lock. Several months have passed, and I haven't even received any response in this matter. The owner change the site with offer after i wrote a bad words but honest about this room! I was very disappointed. Because this city was strange to me, I had nowhere to go. How can you do that ?!
