Built in 1905 by a wealthy Baroness and later home to 617 'The Dambusters' Squadron, the Petwood is a unique hotel surrounded by 30 acres of award-winning landscaped gardens in the charming town of Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire. We are an award winning Pub & Restaurant with 8 lovely rooms in a separate building. With plenty of free parking, free WiFi throughout and a peaceful location on the edge of Woodhall Spa why not give us a try.

Reviewed By saffrons7I've stayed in various hotels at Woodhall Spa over the years, but can hands down say that the Village Limits is now my absolute favourite. I've just returned from a one night solo stay (unfortunately the babysitter let us down last minute) and can honestly say it's one of the nicest places I've stayed in ages. The rooms are beautifully clean and so well appointed, everything you could possibly want. What's more it's contemporary, no brown, boring furniture..instead, modern lines, bold pops of colour and beautiful art work adorn the rooms. I loved it !!! The owner (I assume) was so helpful, I had to leave really early Saturday morning, before Breakfast was served due to an event, and he kindly delivered a breakfast basket to my room, I was completely blown away, the sausage baps were gorgeous. Honestly forget everywhere else...book here, its stupendous. I will be back, hopefully with my other half next time :-) can't wait to return - thank you

The Claremont was taken over by new owners in February 2015. After extensive refurbishment it was re-launched in April 2015. Our newly refurbished Victorian property is a stylish guest house set in the heart of Woodhall Spa. A striking combination of traditional period architecture with modern, twenty-first century additions. All rooms offer lavishly comfortable beds, flat screen televisions with DVD player, complimentary tea & coffee and Wi-Fi internet connectivity. Bathrooms are beautifully designed with a fresh, clean appearance.

Reviewed By C4012WDrebeccajOur stay was lovely. Rebecca the owner was lovely and super helpful. The rooms were a wonderful size, very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was delicious too. I will always book this hotel when in the area! Would recommend to all!

52 Bedroom Hotel, Built in 1880 and set in seven acres of gardens, lawns and woodlands, the hotel is ideally situated for the Woodhall Spa Golf Club, village and surrounding tourist sights. The Golf Hotel is currently under new management and under going a full refurbishment.
Beyond disappointed
Reviewed By lisabC6522JOStayed for 2 nights to attend a local wedding. Only 3 plug sockets in room, only 2 worked, no USB ports. No hot water in sink. Window frames caked in paint which was also on windows. Nets at window had holes in them. Chair in room had ripped leatherette. Wrote my name in the dust in the bottom of the wardrobe. Only 1 packet of 3 biscuits in room. No cups, only cardboard takeaway cups with lids , when we asked for proper cups we were told the manager doesn’t like people having them in case they spill stuff on the new carpets yet for an additional charge they’ll bring you your breakfast in your room ?♀️ Buffet breakfast was only continental, cooked breakfast was brought to you and only included 1 sausage and 1 egg, 2 bacon, like warm beans, 1 hash brown and a couple of mushrooms. The no lighting in the restaurant had half the bulbs out, everywhere, inside and out had peeling flaking paint. The receptionist dropped some plates and scraped the clear plastic chairs on the wood effect floor and then got the cleaner to hoover whilst we were trying to eat, We were the only people in there and they could have waited until we’d finished. For £120 per night I expected much more.

Amazing stay Amazing surroundings just truly amazing
Reviewed By Rachel BMe and my boyfriend stayed at Stonehouse Lodge for 2 nights the lady's were amazing Evan before we arrived they were happy to answer any questions and were really accommodating, upon arrival we were greated with a smile and was shown to our room witch was beautiful! We were shown how everything worked and told we could come and go as we please (I have stayed at other places and they have been quite strict on what time you can come in and what time you can go) this however was not the case we had a key for the front door and a key for our room. The Breckfast was amazing and when I say amazing it was beautiful they were cooked fresh daily and you had a choice of pancakes a omlett or a cooked Breckfast, it is close too anything you will need and if you have any questions the lady's will help you! If we went back to Woodhall spa I would definitely stay here it was a great place and I would highly recommend it. Thankyou for a lovley stay.

Reviewed By W3525GHlaurabVisited Woodhall Spa 1940s weekend for the first time. Tiring but a great experience. Stayed at Brackenside for two nights and it was a lovely place. Quirky and relaxing. Run by Harry and Jayne who are both welcoming and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Harry gave us lifts to the pub and into woodhall spa throughout our stay and we couldn't be any more appreciative. Bell tent is spacious and comfortable.
