Nice basic campervan site with everything you need. Flat site and dog friendly. Pub is right next to the site. We had a nice meal and pub is also dog friendly. The toilets and showers are very basic and could do with updating. For £10 a night we can't grumble! Just need some hooks in each shower cubicle for clothes and bags. The showers were nice and hot. We will definitely visit again.

We called in here without knowing anything about it and was very happy about it! We had Sunday lunch, (one of the best we’ve had) service was excellent and we were made very welcome, pity it was the last day of our holiday, or we would have been back!

Swain House is a luxury Boutique B&B in a recently restored Victorian shop and town house in the ancient harbour town of Watchet, Somerset. The house four expansive rooms designed for indulgent getaways, each has, a king size bed, with fine crisp white luxury cotton, high spec en-suite bathroom with a freestanding roll top slipper bath, walk in double tiled shower, piles of fluffy white towels, pure cotton waffle bathrobes and luxury toiletries by REN.
Boutique B&B, spotless room/bathroom/dining room, modern decor throughout, comfy bed so a great night’s sleep (can’t remember which room we were in but the one with George on the wall so uber quiet), tasty breakfast and a convivial and engaging host. What’s not to like. No parking but the offsite is a good golf shot away and the cost isn’t overly expensive. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends as a base for our fishing trip. Nice well laid out rooms conveniently located close to Marina and Pubs in town. Kim the owner was very helpful with our room requirements and they were very spacious like mini suites.

Located near the village of Roadwater, in West Somerset, the organic farm is idyllically situated in wonderful countryside making it the perfect place to get away from it all. During their stay guests can enjoy delicious four-course dinning each evening with fresh local produce as well as a wide range of activities from walking and cycling to clay shooting and spa treatments. There is a heated swimming pool in the grounds for guests' to use, and plenty of space in the gardens surrounding the house, with garden chairs and tables tucked away so you can always find a peaceful corner to relax in. Whatever type of holiday you are looking for, activity filled or more relaxing, we will do our best to make sure you enjoy every minute of your stay.
We spent a long weekend at Wood Advent, Arrived and was welcomed with a cup of tea and some cake on the patio after being shown to our room. Beautiful farmhouse and well kept grounds coupled with a lovely bit of September sunshine made for a lovely start to the break. Diana had already booked us a table at a local hostelry so no need to hunt around for somewhere to have a meal. The farm is down a single track lane that rises through the woods from Roadwater which poses no problems if driven carefully and with consideration that you may well meet other cars or walkers. Breakfast is superb with excellent service, lots of options depending on your needs. The cooked breakfast is just the start to the day I wanted. The dining room was well spaced out allowing free movement without getting close to others. The bedroom was well equipped and clean and particularly good to find all windows open, the bathroom was clean and well prepared and good to see, in the present climate, no toiletries. Although we did not use them, there are two comfortable lounges where you can relax and read one of the many books that are available both in the lounges and around the property. On returning from our days excursions we were again welcomed by Diana with tea and cake ( Diana's apple and sultana cake is heavenly ! ) A totally relaxing weekend and superbly looked after by the hosts, many thanks for everything, we will be back

We had a lovely pleasant stay at court farm bungalows with 3 people plus a baby. When we arrived the bungalow was lovely and warm already heated for our arrival. We stopped in bungalow number 5. The bungalow had been cleaned and was spotless. The only down fall was the bathroom did not have a proper shower only a rubber attchment. You will need £1 coins for the meter but it was no bother and wasnt expensive. We only put about £11 in and the heating was left on to keep it warm because of our granddaughter being so small, for the whole of our stay which was 4 nights. You need to take ur own bath towels with you as they do not provide these. The tv is very small but I knew this already from the pictures. Across the road there is a farm where you can take the kids and it is free to get in, all you pay for is the food to feed the animals which is 50pence if you want it. The farm also has a small shop and an eating place with plenty of seating. Also there is a softplay area over the road at £4 per child under 10s. There is also a steam train station just down the road. And couple of pubs for eating out

More than just a place to stay, the pods at East Quay offer a unique getaway experience. These five split-level pods, each with their own distinct themes, have far-reaching views either over the channel to Wales, to the Quantocks, or Exmoor. Designed for the adventurous traveller, these pods widen the choice for visitors coming to Watchet and the West Country. Pod 1: Object Exchange sleeps two, has a mini kitchen and stunning views to the harbour and Marina from its private balcony area on the first floor. With walls etched with stories of Watchet’s history, Pod 2: Stories & Imagination comes alive with possibility. It sleeps 4-6 people and has an accessible arrangement on the lower floor to allow for visitors with mobility impairment. The mezzanine level houses another bed, and there is also additional space for two camp beds if required. Pod 3: Industrial Heritage shines a spotlight on Watchet’s industrial past. With a bathtub on its mezzanine floor, this quirky pod has a ship’s ladder and a minimal kitchenette, suitable for two guests. Cocoon yourself in Pod 4: Playful Architecture and lie back on the cargo net across the mezzanine. A shower room, double bed, and a limited kitchen complete this pod as a great getaway base for 2-4 people. A clean white interior in Pod 5: Participatory Art provides a blank canvas for visiting artists or groups to create the artwork with an additional defined area for pod visitors to add their own designs.
Arrived in Pod 1 at East Quay for a warm welcome, and in time to sit on the terrace and watch the sun go down over the harbour and seascape. Bedroom, bathroom, two small seating areas, all furnished with an eclectic selection of reclaimed furniture. Little kitchen with a hob, fridge, pretty crockery, cutlery, milk, tea and coffee. Comfortable bed, hot shower and nice towels. Very steep stairs added to the feeling that we were sleeping in the sky. Restaurant downstairs serves lovely food. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Easy parking in the public car park up the road. But this is so much more than a nice place to stay. As we settled in we started to absorb the detail of the pod. The shelves are full of a collection of interesting little items, each with a label attached detailing who had left it and the story of the item. Visitors are invited to bring an item and take one away. This is so much more than a place to stay. I look forward to going back to see how the pod’s story unfolds. I was enchanted by this experience.
