Lovely friendly welcome, the room was beautiful- clean and tastefully decorated with lots of little extras like bottled water, a coffee machine, lovely toiletries and a private outside table on the terrace. We are in the restaurant and it was delicious, as was breakfast. Plenty of choice and really good tea and coffee. Parking was easy and free and Warwick town is only a few minutes’ walk away, where there are plenty of things to see and do.

A 5 minute drive from central Warwick and the town's jaw-dropping castle, we offer everything you need for a fairy-tale stay - whether you're a knight in shining armour or a sleeping beauty. Climb the ramparts or wander around the historic town centre. Catch the UK's biggest exhibitions at the NEC. Get your pulse racing at nearby Silverstone and the Heritage Motor Centre. Then return, refuel and relax with our spacious rooms, a tasty restaurant, and extra-comfy beds. Due to demand, we highly recommend that you book a table in the restaurant before your stay - we wouldn't want you to miss out!
Friendly check in at reception, albeit slow, due to a girl being trained.. Our room, as usual, was clean and well laid out like they all are! bathroom with great lighting and constant hot water great shower also but a very slippy bath. The bath can do with a non slip mat and also a grab rail on the wall - there is a grab rail on the bath itself which really is of little use when taking a shower We had an awful night's sleep ! the window was one big pane of glass and therefore wasn't able to be opened - not even a little bit just so as to get some fresh air coming in. The air conditioning was extremely noisy.. so that didn't get used There was a serious amount of paperwork on the desk... in the form of information leaflets and brochures telling us all about "special" meal deals, but the layout and pricing was a minefield, difficult to follow and most of all, very confusing! Whoever designed these brochures /information leaflets, must have taken a course in psychology! Especially relating to the drinks that were included. Using words like "for just an extra 50p" and other starred ** reference points.. where were some of these to be found?? There wasn't an actual proper or complete price list to give clients some form of calculated comparisons as to what was what.. There was no published price list in the bar, so we had no idea how much drinks were, only when the drinks had been poured and were we asked to pay, were we informed about the prices.. ( they couldn't even put it on our bill, considering we were staying in the hotel...) I was told that the cost of a cider was published in some leaflet; and when the girl behind the bar produced it from a rack with other leaflets, the rates didn't even match what we had just paid.... The meal deal was only purchased for one evening to also include breakfast the following morning. This brings me on to said breakfast...! What a sham... all the cooked food under the heat lamps was cold, the fried eggs represented those of what you'd buy in a joke shop - rubbery!! I asked for some more and freshly cooked fried eggs, and when they arrived they were equally as cold as the previous lot. The counters were messy, in fact the whole breakfast "experience" was a nightmare.. The ONLY saving grace was Vienna , the sweet and helpful waitress and a helpful girl behind the bar whose name I can't remember... she supplied us with an extra pillow.. Would we come back if we needed to be in Warwick again?? I'll leave that as a blank .... as we all know what the answer to that is! Plus there were also some very dubious customers around ... who made me feel quite uncomfortable.. I had serious visions of finding my car without its wheels in the morning .. Hotel bar prices "Retailers must display product prices clearly, either on the label or nearby (for example, with a price indication on the shelf under the goods). Similarly, restaurants, hotels and similar businesses must show prices on a price list (for example, on their menus). " By this I think it means ALL bar prices, not just a few for a glass of white or red wine..

This countryside hotel is just off the M40/Junction 15, two miles from central Warwick with free leisure access. Ideally located to explore English history at Warwick Castle and Shakespeare's Birthplace or take in the scenery of Charlecote Park.
Charged £270 for a 2 night stay for a basic standard double room which was booked as a superior, however the hotel had none available so gave us a small double room. The room was very small, minimal facilities, no soap and very basic refreshments on a room priced far far higher than it should be. I do not believe this room would ever cost £270 for 2 nights, and on trying to figure out why it was so expensive no one was willing to help us, we were refused a refund. We felt that staff did not care and saw us as a hindrance to staff for explaining the issue. Very unhelpful staff and say there is nothing that can be done, which I find ridiculous. Definitely won't be using these hotels again.

A sleepover in a private floor of our 14th Century Tower
We arrived on Friday 20th May after a telephone call from our concierge days earlier. We were met at a reserved car parking space and taken to The Peacock Suite - WOW - champagne chilling and our itinerary for our day all prepared. Afternoon tea in the Conservatory and then at 4pm the whole site was ours! We had a superb tour of the formal rooms tailored to our interests. A golf buggy ride down to the Knights village for great food and entertainment. A lovely saunter back through the beautiful grounds and sat with the stunning peacocks with views for miles. A lovely evening in our beautiful suite and slept well. Our concierge met us to take us for breakfast in the formal library (with Winston) which felt very special plus the tour of rooms was just the two of us. A pre booked very scary tour of the Dungeons which was fabulous. And then the highlight of our stay - The Falconers Quest - an amazing display of birds of prey in the parkland. A golden ticket to have 20% of a purchases and a phenomenal welcome from every member of the team we encountered. 20 mins from a lovely walk round Stratford. Just do it - what an experience! Thank you.

A favourite with the townspeople, who use it variously as a watering-hole, The Rose & Crown is the place for a spot of lunch or a celebration dinner. Winning several national awards including being twice named in the Top Ten UK pubs in the last few years, The Rose & Crown also won Britain’s Best Brigade in 2017. We serve food all day, along with top-quality draught beers and have a carefully chosen wine list. Our thirteen en-suite B & B rooms have all the little comforts you’d find at home, popular for business and leisure stays.
Really wanted to leave a positive review for here for both the hotel and restaurant! Myself and my partner were due to stay a few nights beginning of June. Due to TUI flight cancellations I was unable to get back from Morocco for the booking so had to message via Booking.com and explain I was stuck! I kept the reservation team updated as much as possible. The hotel were extremely helpful, offered to rebook/cancel immediately. Unfortunately as TUI could not guarantee a flight home I was forced to cancel on the day of arrival. Booking.com wanted £90+ For the cancellation. The hotel kindly waived the cancellation charge due to the circumstances. I can’t thank the reservation team enough for being so helpful and responsive during a stressful time. Finally made it to Warwick yesterday and although the hotel was booked, myself and my partner decided to pop in and have dinner! The food was fantastic! Service faultless! Atmosphere warm and inviting. We had a fantastic dinner with cocktails and will return on our next trip to Warwick!

Reception: Liz at reception was fantastic and Helen at breakfast was informative to assist us with historical sites to visit. Room / facilities: Room number 19 is on the ground floor and is clean. The room consists of 2 single beds, 4 x pillows, desk, chair, iron and board, stand shower (no tub) in the bath room, desk and chair. Self control air conditioning with a window that opens about 5 cm. The room does not have a fridge. Although we had to change room due to plumbing issues, our second room was very functional and comfortable. Parking: This is available at an additional £3.50 per night cost, car registration must be provided at check in. Whilst there are plenty of parking spaces, a car is required to get to the hotel, resulting in the spaces filling quickly. Wifi: Complementary and good speed. No validation or password required. Breakfast: This was part of our room package. The traditional English buffet breakfast is from 6.30am to 9.30am and consists of cereals, yogurt, breads (to toast) jams and spreads, fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, baked beans, sausages, juices, tea and coffee. Staff are very attentive to remove plates and refill food items. Staff even distributed fresh pastries to guests during breakfast. Conclusion: Centrally located “base” hotel for day trips to surrounding towns or Warwick town. Very nice staff, with a McDonalds 1 min walk away. Letdowns: No fridge, inconsistent room features, eg windows with/without dual panes and luggage racks. Location / Nearby: Warwick town is a 5 min drive. Other nearby towns are 10-20 mins drive away. Beware: No matter where you drive to, payment for parking is required. Most parking meters accept coin and card “tap” facilities. Generally after 6.00pm or 8.00pm parking is free, in designated locations. Getting to hotel: Best use GPS

We had a nice big room and a comfy bed but sadly one of the most important things for us is the breakfast. It was advertised as ‘Fabulous breakfast included in room rate’ but once we arrived we were told it was only a continental breakfast (which was cereals, fruit and a croissant) and we’d have to pay £15.90 extra for a cooked breakfast??! When you've travelled for an hour and you're there with your cases you can’t really do much can you other than pay it. Then when it arrives the next morning it was terrible! Bad tasting sausages , undercooked bacon, raw grilled tomato…the baked beans where okay though. We were seriously misled by the hotels booking.com listing with regards to breakfast! It should’ve made it clear that it was only a continental breakfast and NOT cooked! It should’ve also made it clear that it would cost extra for it!! Sadly the hotel refused to accept any responsibility and didn’t even offer us a refund for the bad breakfast. Shame as the hotel itself and the staff where very friendly. Very crafty way of getting extra out of your customers Castle Limes Hotel!?!

Warwick Castle is a truly unique setting for a short break, you can experience an exclusive family sleepover like no other, set in a picturesque woodland grove on the river bank within our new Knight's Village!
Stayed recently with our 2 year old and baby. Fantastic stay start to finish. Staff on reception friendly and helpful. Lodges were great for an overnight stay, a little small when travelling with a pram and 2 travel cots but we made it work. Beautiful setting, we greatly enjoyed sitting on our front bench with a coffee and glass of wine in the evening. We had fantastic weather so had a tea time picnic in the trees by the river instead of using the restaurant but breakfast was lovely with lots of options. The takeaway boxes and coffee cups were great. Zog story time and the little goodies in the lodge were loved by a Zog obsessed toddler. Princess Pearl did ask my just turned 2 year old and another over excited child to sit down during story time, she wasn’t the best interacting with young toddlers. All were very excited meeting a life size Zog! None of the children were to close or blocking any view, they were simply trying to join in. Had to giggle that she seemed to be taking it a bit to seriously when entertains a group of under 6s. Knights show and bedtime story was fantastic, they seemed much better interacting with all the kids enjoying the show and having photos. One of the knights made up a story to tell the kids by the big tree, she was fab. Have already started planning a second trip and have highly recommended to friends and family.

Stopped for one night en route from Lake District. Well situated property. We had a warm welcome and excellent service throughout. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Enormous bed and nice bathroom. We ate dinner and breakfast at the Tavern. Both were great. Would definitely stop here again. Highly recommended.
