Stayed here for 1 week. Receptionists all spoke good English and were friendly and helpful. The room I had was spacious with a balcony and cleaned and prepared to current COVID regulations. It had a well equipped, modern bathroom. There’s a small desk/working area, fridge with complimentary water but no coffee/tea making facility. Wifi was intermittent at times but overall ok. I had breakfast included which is ordered from the menu at the table and plenty of choice available. There’s no evening meal but round the corner is a Neapolitan restaurant which provides a delivery or takeaway service. There’s also a shopping area across the road with a large supermarket. Private, secured parking is offered at €5 day but there’s also parking outside. Checkout was quick and efficient. Overall a quiet comfortable stay and would book again if in the area.

Situated down a country road, a couple of miles west of Viterbo. We didn't really make full use of the resort facilities - the swimming pool was still under covers (too early in the year), and we were too interested in sight-seeing to bother with the nearby thermal spa, so I can only really comment on the place as a hotel. Our room was nice, with a big, comfortable bed. All the normal facilities, though sadly no tea/coffee maker. The rooms enclose a nice courtyard, though it was a little too cold to sit out at night during our visit (but there are large comfortable sofas in the adjacent bar). The restaurant looks nice on their website, and the menu interesting, but sadly the food doesn't live up to the billing. The evening we ate there, my fish starter and main (scallops and monkfish) were overcooked and tough. Sound insulation in the rooms is not brilliant - our room (no.23) adjoined the restaurant function room, and a wedding party there came through loud and clear until quite late. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The B&B Viterbo Antica is located in the medieval area of San Pellegrino in Viterbo's old town, very close to the Papal Palace (Palazzo dei Papi). The location, the architecture and the preciousness of the decor, together with a welcoming atmosphere, will make your stay memorable. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, our B&B is ideal for those who are looking for an elegant yet comfortable and warm accommodation. These characteristics make our B&B perfect for either a romantic getaway or a family vacation. The city of Viterbo lies in a strategic position, at the meeting point of Alto Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany. The so called "Tuscia" is a historical region that has been inhabited since the Etruscan times and represents a melting pot of cultures and people. Unspoilt nature, thermal baths, exquisite food, artistic and archaeological treasures make this land appealing and fascinating. Our accommodation offers our guests the possibility of visiting many cities of art nearby (namely Rome, Orvieto and Terni), medieval towns and well-known archaeological sites. Alternatively, our guests can enjoy a trip to the lakes Bolsena and Vico or relax in Terme dei Papi spa. Our B&B is provided with a parking area where guests can leave their car during their stay. In the neighbourhood it is possible to find many typical Italian restaurants, wine bars, live music pubs and traditional workshops.
My wife and I scheduled 5 nites here because there was so much to do in the area and the price was right and the reviews were great. Its cool to be in the medieval section and have lots of good restaurants and sites to walk to. Its a a "diffuse" B&B so ours had two bedrooms and a common area with a table for 4 but no Couches or comfortable chairs for relaxing. You share it with whomever is in the other bedroom---its a crapshoot who you get. It could be really bad! We were lucky and got a nice couple from Pittsburg who were there to see the same gardens we came for. I could see it being a real disaster with the wrong people. It would be OK for two couples travelling together. However,It was incredibly noisy till 4AM on Sat. nite and till 2pm on Sunday nite. There are restaurants and a club right there. We had to leave after two nites. Patrizia charged us for the full 5 nites. Aarrgghhh! I would like to go back to Viterbo but would stay just outside the walls for the quiet and walk into the town for dinner and sightseeing. She sent us to two good restaurants. Lots of great day trips around there. Parking is very difficult and the streets are tiny. Fortunately, I am comfortable with tight spaces even tho Hertz gave us a Mercedes sport-ute instead of the Audi sedan.Freaked my wife out tho!!! Patrizia is very friendly but maybe hung out too long at breakfast--breakfast was OK. Room and bed was OK and shower was a bit small. She did have screens on the windows which was great---but too loud to leave the windows open at nite.

B&B Orchard, recently restructured, is situated in the middle of the medieval centre of Viterbo along the Via Francigena. Is located few steps away from Viterbo Porta Romana Railway Station , private car parking and free bicycles available. Our rooms are beautifully furnished and are equipped with television, Internet access.
Very clean, well appointed room with bathroom in an updated apartment within a medieval building in the old part of the city. Cobblestone streets outside the door, just minutes from anywhere. There are two other bedrooms on the same hall that use a shared bathroom - the setup is otherwise similar. My room had a small TV that I never turned on. I did make use of the wifi however. Nearby is a breakfast room. Everything is up a flight of stairs on the second floor. I had breakfast included in my rate so every morning had a fresh moka pot of coffee with heated milk, breads and croissants, jams, yogurts, juice, etc. There were also some fruits and cereals available. Valter and Francesca were welcoming hosts. I was there for a meeting but hope to return to stay again at Orchard with my family - Viterbo is a charming town and this was an enjoyable stay.

A few kilometres out in the fields between Viterbo and Tuscania, this place is hard to find when you don’t use the nearby motorway exit to drive to the hotel. Exit the Viterbo-Cittavechia motorway at the sign “Tuscania” and follow the signs a few kilometres into the fields. We changed from a “normal” room into a triple room (although we were just the two of us) and the extra cost was worth it. This room was on the ground floor, spacious and cool. The bed squeaked a bit but otherwise we were happy with the room. The bathroom is small but functional, all towels were changed every day. The shower head lights up from blue to red when you open the tap, a novelty to me! As every agriturismo here also there is a wonderful restaurant in situ, open every day, for lunch or for dinner. The service is a little amateurish at times but the quality of the food, mostly from locally produced meats and hand-made pasta, is excellent! The serve their own oil, meat, wine and many of the vegetables served are locally produced. The owners The swimming pool was open, but the weather was not good enough to make use of it. Breakfast is simple and mostly sweet, but they did have meat and cheese available. The bread, however, was old and dry. A toaster would have helped! If you want to leave early in the morning make sure you settle your bill the night before because we could not check out until 9 am, when the secretary arrived for work. It was very quiet when we were here, but in the summer season during weekend I suspect it will be quite busy, but I am sure they do everything they can to serve all as well as they can.

Le Onde Resort Hotel is located just 5 minutes from Viterbo VT), in a strategic position to visit all Tuscia beautiful places. The hotel is located 6km outside of Viterbo. Is a nice place with 3 pools, restaurant and lot of place to relax and stay at the sun or under an umbrella. You can go for the day. They offer diffrent type of access, only pool, pool and chair, pool chair and lunch or all inclusive day. You also can stay at the hotel. Rooms are nice big and quiet. You can cook if you want but you need tonpay some extra. The dinner is all you can eat separated in antipasti, past and pizza and some grilled meat. Also the desserts. Beberages are not included. Breakfast is ok, good coffe, some patiserie and juices. The only regular thing is that the hotel is manages by the same 6 persons so sometimes you cant find nobody in the reception because is doing something else or the bar is unattended. If they have just a bit more of personel would be great. This not allows you have a great day/stay.

We had a lovely 2 night stay. The staff were great and very accommodating. Breakfast was great. Evening meal was average, we were offered a set menu with a choice of 3 starters and 6 mains . Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, both in size and quality of furnishings and bedding. We enjoyed the wonderfull pool of Terme.

In the heart of the Viterbo's medieval center (San Pellegrino), we offer two different types of accommodations in a perfectly restored building from the 1200s. You can choose from a variety of lovely themed rooms, single or double. In addition, you can rent an independent apartment with medieval stone walls and floor, already location for movies and good also for private parties. It is an experience of a lifetime - stay on the ground floor of a medieval tower, enjoy your breakfast in what once was an ancient manger and relax in the peaceful private courtyard surrounded by camellias and lemon trees.
Wonderfully restored Midieval residence, brought up to modern standards while keeping the authentic architecture. Perfect location inside the ancient walls but with close parking, Fabulous helpful hosts with tons of suggestions for restaurants and sites, maps and brochures. Cannot reccommend highly enough!

Laura & Ennio are the very congenial proprietors of B&B Torre Medievale, a set of 4 small apartments in a restored auto garage that has been in Ennio's family for a century. They have done an excellent job turning a set of buildings constructed against the medieval walls of Viterbo into a secluded retreat 100 m from the entry to the old medieval center of this pleasant and historically significant city in northern Lazio. The apartments sleep 2-4 people and are comfortably furnished; gated private parking is included (important, as non-residents are not permitted to drive in most of Viterbo's center); and the proximity to the Via Cassia (SS 2) and the Porta Romana train station makes this an excellent choice for touring either Viterbo or Lazio. Sensitive sleepers will want to bring earplugs, as two of the apartments face onto a busy parking lot with several popular indoor/outdoor restaurants open until late at night. The comment of one poster about electricity is correct; Laura did tell me that if I used too much electricity (by cooking meals on the one electric burner that serves as a stove) I would have to pay a nominal fee (40 cents/KwH). The breakfast is also nothing to write home about: biscuits, packaged croissants, coffee, and milk were provided at the start of my stay. I happily made coffee and bought my own bread and jam for breakfast. There is satellite TV but no internet connection. If you want to feel welcomed into someone's home or chat with other travellers over breakfast, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for an affordable, comfortable, and conveniently located B&B in Viterbo, run by a very friendly couple, and like the opportunity to prepare very simple meals for yourself, I would heartily recommend B&B Torre Medievale; I would certainly stay here again. (PS: I speak Italian so cannot say whether the proprietors speak English.)
