Reviewed By B4243BXsophiemQuite room, last floor, nice view on the roofs and the basilique. We were recommended to have diner at SY L Terasse nearby, excllent experience and good food. So indeed a nice experience. Room was well priced, though breakfast not included and indeed to costly (15€/pax) for this type of hotel.

Reviewed By zenwoman35The hotel is located in an old building, but the rooms are comfortable enough. The bathroom was fine, and the shower nice and hot. The beds were ok too. We did not take the breakfast, as a coffee and a croissant in town was less than half the price. The location is fabulous, right next to the city gate, going up to the cathedral. Friendly staff.

Lovely visit impacted by large and loud Tour Group
Reviewed By TravelGoddessKnowsGreat location to visit this lovely small town. Stayed 2 nights in a lovely room with a balcony. Staff was very helpful and made our dinner reservation at the "White Horse" which is nearby with excellent food. I asked my travel agent to book a "small boutique hotel" so was surprised when a tour bus dropped off a very large and very loud tour group. Travel agent issue but don't expect a quiet hotel filled with couples or families. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown after all the lovely breakfasts we enjoyed during our prior two weeks in France.

Summer evening meal
Reviewed By Therese16We were looking for a light meal on a very hot evening. Strolling across the Champ de Foire we decided on the Relais de Morvan. There was a good choice of food but we decided on the large salads, a plateful of all liknds of salad food not just lettuce! There were various types available. We made different choices, one was with a lots of smoked salmon and prawns (salade de la mer) and the other with tuna, the traditional ' salade niçoise' . There were 14 Euros each. We had a Kir beforehand whilst we were waiting but the service was swift. I had not finished mine before the food arrived. The wines were expensive. We were tempted by the Fillon wine from St Bris, but decided on the local beautifully chilled white Vézelay wine. The bottle cost 24.50. It was delicious. We decaf coffee afterwards. There was no hurry to leave and we enjoyed a lovely couple of hours on the terrace there. The bill come to 63.70. I will definitely go there again when I am in Vézelay.

Lamentable
Reviewed By ZelihaZ2Bonjour, la manière dont l’annulation de la réservation s’est faite n’est pas du tout correct pour overbooking alors que la réservation est faite depuis longtemps. D’autant plus que nous venions de Belgique et devons rechercher un autre endroit à la dernière minute, facteur stressant pendant nos vacances. Vraiment pas cool.
