Solid hotel that does the job
Reviewed By I876NAstevelFunctional and meets basic needs very comfortably. Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Well appointed, but very basic decor. Suites with full kitchen, but no dishes or cookware.l which was surprising. Arrival and parking is a bit tricky. Basic breakfast included. In room coffee.

Comfortable Stay
Reviewed By BlackPuliWe stayed one night to attend a medical appointment the following day. Check in was efficient and professional. We had a one bedroom suite which was clean and comfortable. There was a good selection of foods for breakfast. Only issue was the bacon was under cooked. Convenient location to Hwy 400 and to shopping. Walmart was next door, close to Vaughan Outlet Mall. Would definitely stay here again especially as it is pet friendly.

Wonderful stay
Reviewed By faizankCanadaOur daughter had a procedure at the Vaughan hospital and we needed a base. Even though the hotel was full (sports teams, corporate retreats) Zorica (lovely Manager) and charming Ellis (front desk) really took care of us. We might have to come back to Vaughan for future appointments and if so, this will be our hotel of choice. Merci!

Worst in Vaughn …… ?♂️
Reviewed By Travellingman2371Rude desk staff, literally lied to me on the phone and said freshly renovated, they must’ve meant in the early 1990s, old carpets and dated atmosphere. Then you wake up in the morning and discover the worst hotel breakfast in history, coupled with more rude staff, adamantly excusing away the cold boiled eggs and Cheerios. Then I go to check out and this brand apparently holds a deposit for eight days, of course coupled again with a rude and bad attitude from the clerk at the counter. This hotel is great if it’s literally the very last room in town and if it is, prepare to be gouged …….. ?

Shower tiles were not properly cleaned, towel storage rack located at backend of tub/shower, tv continually paused while watching. Pool area had a slide feature that only functioned on weekends, hot tub water temperature was not very warm. Restaurant was very disappointing, supper we had as the meats in the beef dip and turkey melt was lunchmeat and breakfast choice was an $18.99 breakfast buffet with no choice to order ala carte for smaller portions or simple breakfast. Very disappointing that the implied quality of the Hilton name was not there. Definitely did not receive the expected value for the price we paid.

Front Desk Staff - disrespectful
Reviewed By taneahuThe hotel itself was good. It was small and quaint, tucked away in a less busy area of Vaughan which I liked. My boyfriend and I went to spend my birthday at this hotel and overall I enjoyed it. The room was spacious and had a kitchen equipped with basically what you’d need. I was just telling my boyfriend how much I was enjoying the hotel and how we would visit again. The heat was broken in our room and the phone didn’t work properly but it wasn’t worth complaining about for us. Then on the night of my birthday a front desk staff by the name of Ayesha came to our room throwing a full adult tantrum - screaming, shouting, stomping her feet and telling us to get out and that she would call the police - we are a young Black couple. She was accusing us of smoking in our room because of an apparent fire alarm issue, when she had just let us through the front doors less than 30 minutes prior because we had went outside for a smoke. We invited Ayesha into our room to confirm there was certainly no smoke, reminded her that we literally just came in from having a smoke outside, but instead she decided to storm away threatening to call the police to have us removed and put a $300 charge on our bill the next morning for “deep cleaning”. The front desk staff in the morning were able to rectify the charge but we received no apology or compensation. The maintenance manager came to our room in the morning to confirm nobody smoked in there and he apologized for our experience but that’s as much as we received. It was disappointing over all that their staff are allowed to treat guests this way. We are Marriot Bonvoy members and spend a good amount of time & money at these hotels primarily because of their service. This experience was absurd.

Very good place to stay
Reviewed By Stinder SWe stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Vaughan-SW for 2 nights and enjoyed our experience. Checking in was quite easy, the room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very filling and tasty. It had the usual cereal, fruit, bacon, sausages, omelets, etc, etc. A good selection overall. You'll have some fun using the sensor activated juice dispenser. I also made use of both the weight/cardio room as well as the pool. Both were well maintained and clean I must say. No car, no problem! Within walking distance are several restaurants including The Keg, Fionn MacCools, McDonalds, Subway, Quesada, etc, etc. Overall, I would stay at this place again in the future. Keep up the good work.

Not pet friendly - otherwise good
Reviewed By JohnV_48291We were happy with the hotel room and the breakfast meal, but floored with the extra charge. They call themselves "pet friendly", but charged a $100 cleaning fee because we had our dog. There is no way they could justify that to me. I will never stay in this hotel again.
