Reviewed By gogogroovedudeI was visiting Vardo and stayed at Vardo Hotel for the first time. The rooms was nice and the food in the restaurant was deliceous, maybe one of the better fish meal i´ve ever tasted. Highly recommended!

Reviewed By 989aagelMeieriet i Vardø har meget god mat, hyggelig og smilende betjening, beliggende midt i sentrum. Et bra alternativ til å få seg et godt måltid og slappe av. En behøver ikke å bestille bord, men kan jo være en fordel om man er flere personer.

Reviewed By Glenn Henning WIn hindsigth I am happy that we arrived very late and left early the next morning, I would not have spent any more time there than I had to. Obvious that the owner cashes in on the desperate accommodation situation in Vardø, as the hotel is long term fully booked by business people. Shocked to find accommodation with such poor standard for rent in Norway, this is what I would expect to find a lot further east in Europe. We were promised two rooms (travelled with a collegue), but got 1 apt. I had to sleep on the sofa, which had massive, disgusting stains all over it and empty bottles hidden behind the pillows. The shower wall had wholes, the towels smelled bad, and the entire apt. felt dirty. The whole place was outdated, worn down and looked like it had endured one party too many. It needs to be fully refurbished, not suitable living standards atm. Stay clear, by far the worst accommodation I have experienced in Scandinavia.

I’d rather stay in a tent!
Reviewed By SylviFAwful in every sense of the word. There was not ONE thing that worked as it should.. Door handles, electrical plugs, “fridge” etc etc. Not to mention the smell. You are hereby warned! If I ever go back to the area again I will stay in Hamningberg, no question about it!
