Reviewed By Alan WWe stayed for a week and what a find. El Hierro was fabulous as was the hotel. We have been to La Gomera on numerous occasions but never to El Hierro. It was a challenge to get here involving two flights, a taxi transfer between airports and a hire car to the hotel. We arrived very tired but were welcomed in by Joanna, who was excellent throughout our week's stay. She was always willing to chat and always welcomed us back each day and asked us where we had been. The hotel location was excellent, we fell asleep each night to the sound of crashing waves. The bathroom could do with some updating and parts of the hotel could do with some tlc. The food was very good although the menu never changed throughout the week we were there. Overall everything was great and we had a wonderful holiday???

Reviewed By IslandMichele007However, the walls are very thin so I could hear the people in the next room especially when the snoring woke me up at 03.00. Could hear doors banging & toilets flushing! A little expensive for what it was although the rooms were clean, lovely hot water & new fluffy towels. Staff were friendly. I need to improve my Spanish as no English was spoken & we should not expect everyone to speak English especially when we visit remote places like El Hierro!

Reviewed By pattyl1951Lovely little apartment with sea view, comfy beds and pleasant staff. Stayed for 4 nights as a base for touring round the island. Spotlessly clean. Kitchen was ideal for breakfast and snacks but not suitable for cooking a huge meal. Would go there again if we return to the island.

Reviewed By Cvra76Excelente ubicación, fuimos a visitar la isla y elegimos la casa por las buenas opiniones que tenia y cumplió todas las expectativas que teníamos, muy amable la señora que nos atendió La casa está muy bien para disfrutar de una barbacoa o una comida con vistas y estar totalmente independiente de vecinos. En definitiva volveremos.

Il m'avait dit que si je venais à El Hierro dans son auberge, on allait travailler ensemble comme associés, puis rien de cela ne s'est passé. Il ne voulait plus travailler avec moi, sans raison à part 'des différences' selon un message whatsapp... Il convainc facilement, fait des promesses qu'il ne tient pas, tout cela avec beaucoup de bagou : bref un politicien hors pair sur Strasbourg apparemment... Je ne recommande pas.
