I total recommend this experience of pools with natural warm water and great hospitality of all the staff, that makes you an incredible nice stay. Thanks a lot to all the staff. A special thanks to Julian (the Barbecue man), he is very very kind, the funny guys who enterteiment us all the time and Vanessa our roommaid. 100% recommend this Hotel. Come to have a relax and good time.

Excellent design, location and value
Reviewed By Jeordan LI'm impressed with this boutique hotel. The design is excellent, the staff is friendly and well-trained, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. The location is a couple of blocks from the waterfront boardwalk, which you can walk for miles with views of the water. And you can see the views of the water from the roof top terrace, which has comfy sofas to sit on and take in the sunsets. We've stayed here twice and will stay here again and again when we are in Montevideo.

Reviewed By NicoleR381Beautiful historic hotel in a good location. Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were clean, just a little dated. Beds were comfortable. The water closet is on the other side of where the shower is, so that was interesting. Shower pressure is great, but the way it’s shaped the floor got pretty wet every time. Getting a nice window view at the back of the hotel is optimal as there will be something to see in the day and evening. Great thing about the hotel is the awesome location. You are in front of the riverside, but in the back of the hotel you are in walking distance to tons of great shops and restaurants. The area feels safe and the walk is easy to tons of stores.

From the moment I entered the building, I was greeted with lovely smiles and hospitality, which kickstarted an overall five-star experience. The location is in the heart of the town center, close to the historic district’s public plazas, shops, and restaurants, as well as anything else you’d want to do. Views of the Rio de la Plata simply can’t be beat, and I was fortunate enough to receive an upgraded room with that view. Five stars on location and ambiance! Service was top-notch. I can’t remember all the names of everybody working to ensure I had a great stay, but it was definitely every single employee. Some spoke English better than others, but each had a passion for delivering the utmost Uruguayan hospitality. As a wheelchair user, I felt looked after and treated very well. Whenever I needed help, I could ask and someone would be at the ready. Rooms were basic, but the views made up for any simplicity in terms of amenities. A balcony with chairs and a table added to the experience big-time. Everything was clean. The only downside to my room was that the balcony door didn’t completely close, which I feared could invite insects and inclement weather on different days. However, I realize nothing is perfect, and having the door slightly open made zero impact on my stay. Breakfast was included in my rate, which was a huge plus; the selection was very good. Other amenities like the outdoor pool and a fitness center are available too. Wifi is free. Travelers won’t be desiring too much more than what is already offered by the hotel; this place anticipates travelers’ needs and delivers effectively. Lastly, a small tip…try coming in and booking your room directly at the hotel front desk. Perhaps it’s the familiar “he/she has a clear disability and I want to help out” kind of thing, but when I requested a room at the check-in counter, I was able to get a rate lower than anywhere I previously found online. And I mean, much lower. Plus tax and everything. So this might be worthwhile to attempt for my readers as well! Thank you for a spectacular stay! I encourage everyone to stay at this Radisson.

Relaxing stay, friendly staff
Reviewed By dyt1337It was my first time in Colonia del Sacramento and I had a relaxing four-day stay at Posada Boutique Las Terrazas. All of the staff were super friendly and chatted with me every day. My room had a comfy bed and wide windows for ventilation. It faced the pool and garden and it was very calming to hear the water feature. I enjoyed spending afternoons sunbathing at the pool surrounded by all their wonderful plants and flowers. There's complimentary fruit-infused water and hot water and teabags in the dining area, which was very thoughtful. The hotel is also in an ideal location - just on the periphery of the old town, so it wasn't too busy but easy to walk to all the sights.

Reviewed By ifattitWe were lucky to get a room with a wife view, “L” shape, and after experiencing the sunset from our bed we just realize that nothing else matters in the hotel However if you care about details, covid mode they deliver breakfast the former afternoon and it is kind of limited, there is no yogurt or fresh milk,... But than you watch the view again and forget about those details We love colonia and for this time of the year and under covid mode, we plan to return soon to the same room

They gave us a double room on the 9th floor, plenty of bench space in the room and in the bathroom, a nice shower with plenty of hot water, comfortable bed with a doona, the only improvement I could suggest would be carpet on the floor (we were there in July). The location is great, smack bang in the middle of the down town shopping area. The only unpleasant surprise was a US$10 per day fee for parking, however, for this they provided a caddy service where they parked the car for you in their garage. Complimentary coffee and Iced water i the lobby was nice, and the staff I found to be friendly and professional. For all these reasons this hotel get my seal of approval with five big stars.

Safety COVID measures were not taken into account in the pool and jacuzzi. We asked for the dinner to be delivered to the room and were told that was not possible. Fortunatelly, and considering the unhappy scenario of the room and COVID measures we were allowed to have room service but during check out we had charges for USD 180 for room service which were cancelled
