The owner and family were very kind and warm. We went during off season April 2019 with just 2-3 other guests at the resort. For breakfast they arrange a small buffet with eggs n hot beverages made to order. This matched or was better than some of the hotels we have stayed in the main city of Rome. We had dinner at their restaurant everyday(there aren't any restaurants accessible and near by). For lunch they aren't open it u don't advise them earlier. I'm not from Italy so options available in the menu was kind of repetitive for me unlike when we go to a beach resort etc but understandable as its a mountain place and their local is kind of limited to what's available around..now I know. But owner Valentina is very adaptable to get something done for your taste even if out of menu. We almost had the whole spa for ourselves like it was our private place...it was fun.We didn't try the massage thereas we are used to wonderful Asian massages we couldn't fathom having massage not up to our taste. But there were other guest who we saw had booked for massages. Thanks to the team for giving our family a peaceful 5 days.

Very clean, very pleasant, very centrally located place to stay in Umbertide. The rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, unusual for budget accommodation in Italy. The people who run it are great. Recommended

This was our first experience with agriturismo and we are completely sold on the concept! We enjoyed the beautiful setting, the room was comfortable and well appointed. After a long day of driving and sightseeing this was the perfect place to come for relaxation and quiet. The pool was pristine, and we enjoyed the animals; horses roaming in a pasture, a few dogs, a cat, birds, geese, and more. We lingered in the morning, catching a nap in the hammock, before we were on our way. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast had many choices. I would recommend this place if you are looking for comfort and quiet and my husband and I would return!

We stayed here for a few nights as we were attending a wedding at nearby Chiesa del Carmine and the Castello is a couple of minutes drive away. The pool was perfect for cooling down and for the kids to play in. We were in the Gubbio Junior Suite which occupies the top floor of the main building and was extremely spacious for our family of four. The man and lady who work here are friendly and although there is a language barrier if you don’t speak Italian, we got by. They are not there 24 hrs though and the reception is only open during the day. One highlight is having breakfast delivered every morning - you can select a time slot and choose from a menu including cereal, yoghurt, pastries, ham & cheese and fruit. It is possible to change your selection daily or they will keep bringing the same every day. All the beds were comfortable. The showers run from the main water, so are not that powerful. We would definitely stay here again if visiting this beautiful part of Italy.

Expect the unexpected. Hidden away behind the small town of Verna lies a little treasure. Nestore is an ideal place to relax and get away from everything. Pick fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden, swim in the swimmingpool or play a game of tennis. Want to get out? Visit some of the spectacular towns nearby: Gubbio, Citta di Catelo, Montone, Cortona etc etc. Assisi, Siena and Perugia also within driving range. Umbria is the green heart of Italy, go and enjoy. This place is the excellent base to do so.
