Reviewed By makan9Great size room with well designed interiors and great attention to details. Parking and checking in was very convenient. Service was friendly and excellent food at the restaurant. Complimentary breakfast was above basic. And the LRT is walking distance.

Great Hotel but Staff Need More Training
Reviewed By Delton6711Breakfast area was missing fruit several times during my stay. Food was cold and unattended to. Staff members working the breakfast area were not checking the bar properly to make sure everything was in order, instead they were huddled up and one young lady was snapping pictures of herself with her phone. When I checked in Jordan at the fruit desk was adamant about check my government ID, which was clearly viewed around my neck but never welcome me as a Diamond member, nor did she give me the welcome gift. I had to come down the next day and receive it from another representative. Eric at the front desk had to several times take care of issue or things needed because Jordan didn't know or did not have the time to service my needs. His service was excellent during my stay. Brittany was also great.

Great hotel and fantastic rooms but valet parking needs to improve

One day I had to wait over 45 min for my car because of a miscommunication between the front desk and valet giving wrong number. I even went up to the valet and told him I was waiting and gave him my number but still didn’t get my car for another 15 minutes even though no one else was waiting behind me. The next day at checkout it took over 30 minutes of waiting until I gave up and said just give me my keys and I’ll get my car myself. Two others who were waiting even longer did the same thing right after me and we all just walked to the garage and got it out in two minutes. Besides that the rooms are great and is one of the better hotels in the area. I would stay again but and hesitant based on how long it takes to get my car back.

Clean, Quiet Convenient
Reviewed By Sharon FClean, Quiet and convenient The rooms were nice and clean , bed was not the most comfortable. People complained about the AC must have not figured out how to use it. It would come on amd off as needed. Never had a problem with it not coming on. Couple of things… hotel told us they had a shuttle when we called to verify, which we were planning to get to the metro. However, despite it sitting right out front of hotel without a sign on it stating “NOT iN USE”. Nothing to tell you that unless you read the tiny print on one of the many signs at the front desk. There should be a sign clearly stating no shuttle in service so it is not expected. And the front desk person offered no assistance or knowledge to help us get to metro , like telling us there was one right down the street that was walkavwl. Also there was next to nothing in the hotel pantry store. Don’t count on that either. There is metro stop within walking distance of the hotel and also there is several restaurants very close. If parking in the garage ( charge) should have a smaller vehicle it is very tight entrance cannot be over 7’ tall vehicle. Very tight squeeze to enter the garage. But there is ample feee parking on the street. Convenient location , yet quiet as it sits away from the road in a business park. We would stay here again the next time we return to that area.

Not Hurrying Back

While the bed was comfortable (especially after a 9 hour drive), the charging ports next to the beds didn't work, the bed itself wasn't very well made and the room is set up in such a fashion that the TV is next to the bed. This is fine if you're on the side closer to the TV but if someone else is in the bed too they have to roll on their side to look over someone to see it. The big problem with this hotel was that they double charged my Credit Card, thus considerably reducing my availability until the situation got resolved which didn't happen until our vacation was over. While the manager did try to talk to the credit card company to try to get it corrected nothing could be done and it became even more irritating when he offered my wife and I complimentary pantry goods (candy, etc) to try to make up for it. There is no pool. Because of Covid, the housekeeping only comes in once every 3 days. There is a Courtyard by Marriott in Dunn Loring that we've stayed at several times just a 5 -10 minute trip down the road. We stayed at this Courtyard ONLY because we were getting a better rate but you get what you pay for. Next time we'll either go back to Dunn Loring OR maybe try the Doubletree hotel right next door to this one. There are a lot of alternatives to this hotel in the area and we'll probably seek them out before coming back to this one. This hotel needs LOTS of work.
