Sarah/Chris at the front desk and the rest of the hotel staff were extremely down to earth, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. As a former hotel general manager, I especially appreciated Sarah's pleasant demeanor, diligence, and efficiency. Everytime I passed the front desk, I saw Sarah hard at work tooling away being a dedicated valuable employee completing numerous work tasks. Even while being inundated with work tasks, Sarah always managed to acknowledge me by name and say hello when I was passing thru the hotel lobby. Give her a raise, bonus, or promotion, preferably all, she does a phenomenal job at representing Choice hotel values and being the face of the hotel! I felt appreciated and right at home during my whole extended stay. The Hershey welcoming bar with my name on it was a very nice personal touch and impressed me more than Marriott's generic welcome gift bags. My room was big, spacious, and thoroughly clean. Same goes for the bathroom as well.. Slept like a baby on the ultra comfortable beds. Even with all the gas and oil workers staying at the hotel, the hotel staff kept the floors looking immaculate with very little traces of mud being left around. The hotel is situated in the perfect area, gorgeous river nearby with a walking trail and a Wal-Mart down the street for your personal needs. Huge props for keeping the gym and pool open, you've made so many guests day doing that, especially mine. Thanks for making my stay away from home feel like home. Looking forward to my future stay!

Room was seriously outdated, dingy and musty. The carpet badly stained and walls needed a paint job. I should have guessed from the horrible reception area that the rooms would be just as bad, in fact the worst hotel experience ever.

Never go here, absolutely disgusting, pee was all over our covers and pillows, guy at the front desk said “It’s not my problem” and continues to call my 19 year old brother little kid. This man tries to say that there was too much time between check in. Even though mom, trying to be helpful since we are driving up from New Jersey checks us in early, took him about three second too see it looked like an over excited dog and started peeing everywhere. Disrespectful, no good, incompetent people with no care for their guests whatsoever. if there was a Catfish TV for hotels and guests, this place would be the star.

Gosh where do I start. How about the refrigerator door that came off in my hand. I mean the entire door. Number 2, no lamp shade on the lamp, just a bare bulb. Bad smells, dirty, shower curtain 6" too short which caused a minor flood that I had to clean up. Did I mention dirty. I ended up sleeping in a sleeping bag on top of the bed because I was afraid to climb inside. I was there for a sporting clays shoot and all the other hotels were booked unless I wanted to spend 140 bucks for one night. BTW, no room numbers on the doors. I tried the key and it worked so I got in. I blocked the door at night with a piece of furniture. Because I was afraid someone else might have the same key. PS. I have a rash I'm treating with cortisone cream. Gosh knows what I got into my sleeping in the room. PS. They say WIFI, but they told me at check in there was no WIFI.
