Located just east of Bryce Canyon National Park on scenic Highway 12, just 7 miles past the Bryce Canyon turn-off at Mile marker 21 in Tropic. Bryce Canyon Inn Has comfortable clean cozy cabins, that you park right in front of. A gourmet coffee shop and a Pizza Restaurant. Its the quite side of Bryce Canyon, and your best choice for visiting the scenic wonders of southern Utah . From our location, you can view both colorful sunrises to the east framed by Powell Point and spectacular sunsets to the west above Bryce Canyon.
Two couples stayed at the 21 on 12 house. The house is large, modern, and clean. A big kitchen and table that easily handles a large family. It is beside the motel office where we bought breakfast. Also next to a convenience store. I would stay here again. The only complaint was slow service to get food.

The best place to stay at Bryce. We have four secluded cottages with two bedrooms, two baths, fully equipped kitchen and private hot tub. We also have 4 bungalows that are free standing king suites. They have a king bedroom, bathroom, living area and private porch. Stunning views from right under the rim of Bryce Canyon. Hike in to Bryce from the property.
We stayed in one of the King suites - it wasn't our first choice - all other options were booked - but we were very pleasantly surprised by how attractive the room is, very tastefully designed with wood, white and gray in a minimalist yet elegant feel. We have a lovely view from the room of the buttes, juniper and piñon pine. The only downside is hearing the neighbors a bit, but nothing too annoying. We did enjoy an evening walk on the trail into Bryce Canyon - you need to drive to the end of Bryce Road, about two miles, and then you can hike in as far as you'd like! We also loved the Mossy Cave hike which is only a 10 minute drive away. A note about the restaurant on site: we enjoyed dining at the Stone Hearth Grille last night, but wished we could have dined there both nights, as there are very few other local options, and this restaurant is vastly better than any other in the area. We were unable to get a table for our first night, despite filling out the restaurant reservation form a week in advance. The Inn's instructions turn out to be incorrect - it says that "The Stone Hearth Grille can take reservations up to 30 days in advance but it is only necessary to make the reservation 2-7 days in advance for our Stone Canyon Inn Guests." When we attempted to make a reservation more than a week in advance, it was not accepted. When we attempted to make the reservation 7 days in advance, the response was that the restaurant was full that night. Very frustrating! A note regarding food: The IDK BBQ in town is pretty good, but the so-called "Country Market" only has convenience frozen food, canned goods, and very little produce, so if you want to have breakfast or lunch options, shop elsewhere before you arrive!

The hotel is old but has been kept up very nicely. Our bathroom look fairly new and clean. The room was very clean also. The owner must come between the hours of 3-7 pm for check in. I would stay at this hotel again. It came with a large screen tv and had Netflix also. Tropic is small but we found everyone to be very nice

This quaint property has all the charm and warmth of a summer camp lodge complete with sparkly staff, an outdoor firepit area and rustic restaurant that offers a large variety of generous and tasty food and beverages. Our room was very clean and had all necessary amenities. No breakfast is offered but the fresh brewed coffee was the best I’ve had in a hotel.

We stayed here for four nights and were happy we did. Comfortable, clean, great breakfast and shower was very good. Very quiet, much better than the crowds in Bryce City. Ed and Liene were very friendly and made us feel at home.

Our cabins are fresh, new and decorated country-style. Each of our individual log cabins come furnished with two queen beds, private bathroom, heating and A/C, microwave oven, refrigerator, cable TV, hair dryer, in-room coffee, and free wireless internet. We provide outdoor barbecues for guest use and each cabin has its own private front porch just for you.
After a day of hiking around Bryce Canyon NP we stayed at the Bryce Country Cabins in Tropic UT on May 6. This was absolutely perfect. Check in was easy and the cabin was just what we wanted. Our only regret was only staying here one night. We went into the town of Tropic for dinner and saw some of the other cabin and hotel choices and felt great about the one we had picked out. After dinner, we were able to sit on our back patio and enjoy the quiet mountain views. The next morning we woke up in time to see sunrise coming over the mountaintops. We got the deluxe log cabin king which gave us an unobstructed view on our patio. Fire pits around also. This was a great evening to finish off a great day. Mark and Jo Ann Carroll of Senoia GA

Bryce Valley Lodging was a disappointment. They were cabins but should have been plenty comfortable. The first night we were in one with no WiFi which was an issue for the 14 year old and the lock on the front door was loose and very difficult to open. I complained to the front desk and was informed that they would work on it. When we returned the next afternoon the issues were still present so we complained again. We were moved to another cabin with working WiFi. The outlets were very loose and the overhead fan switch did not work. We complained again. We talked to the new manager who informed us that they had just taken over and had a large backlog of neglected maintenance issues that they were working on. Likely in a few months this review will no longer be applicable.

We really enjoyed our stay in our little log cabin. Although check in was impersonal, just collect key from unattended office, this suited us fine and we had no need to contact anyone during our stay. After staying in hotels for the previous few nights of our road trip it was lovely to be able to sit outside on our own patio area and enjoy takeaway bbq from IDK BBQ which was a short walk away. We also enjoyed our meal at Rustlers restaurant, in fact our leftover quesadillas made a perfect picnic at Bryce Canyon the next day. The room was big and clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom big enough although not huge. Fluffy towels and toiletries provided as well as a hairdryer. Tropic had everything we needed, petrol station, groceries, restaurants and a coffee shop. One of my favourite stops on this trip, would recommend.

Bryce Canyon Livery Bed and Breakfast is Located in the heart of Bryce Canyon. Tropic Utah, to be exact. We are NOT located on the main Highway (Bywy 12) instead, we are west of the main Highway 4 Blocks with a spectacular view of Bryce right from every room and balcony including the beautiful front porch. Waking up every morning to watch the sun light up the pink hills and kiss the beautiful gardens on the property is both breathtaking and refreshing. We are in a quiet part of town with very minimal traffic and light pollution so stargazing from the front lawn is easy and enjoyable. Our Rooms are newly remolded, clean and comfortable. Coffee, tea and orange juice are always served and refreshing. With a warm home feel to this quante little place you will be sure to enjoy your stay.
We booked our stay many months ago. Reviews appeared to have gone downhill since then so we were nervous about our stay. One of people's biggest complaints seemed to be regarding breakfast. We were given four lemon poppyseed muffins and some waters and juices - no complaints there. Our room was clean and worked great for what we needed. We showed up after dark and our room key was taped to the office door. We never saw any staff since we left before sunrise the next morning, but we left our key in the room and had no issues. I will say that there are not individual AC units in each room, so we had no control over the temperature. It was a bit warm but I was just thankful we were staying there on a night with cooler temperatures. The only other thing I wanted to add is that the B&B advertises a much closer mileage to Bryce Canyon than it actually is. It's not a lie since they are that close to the border of the park, but if you are trying to stay near the entrance of the park it's much further than the few miles advertised (only about 20 minutes).
