We stayed at the hotel to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We booked directly with the hotel which was easy and I mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arrival a lovely bowl of fruit was waiting for us with Wishes from the hotel. The suite we booked was stunning and had a jacuzzi. Clean, comfortable and wonderful views of the river from the balcony. We also had dinner in the restaurant. It's a must as both the food and the service were excellent! Same applies for the Reception. Thank you all for a memorable stay! We will be back!

Welcome to Semiramis Hotel, Cyprus. The hotel is owned and managed by Agis Iacovides and family. We are situated in the village of Platres in the Troodos mountains and within easy reach of the islands two main airports (Larnaca & Paphos). The original hotel was built in the early 1900’s and whilst it retains all it’s classic 1920’s style, it now features – following its very recent refurbishment - a refined interior design that blends with traditional hospitality to provide an ambiance that is guaranteed to delight the senses.
The hotel is a very classy building from around 1900 and the renovation has been very tastfully done. Our room was modestly but comfortably furnished. There was attention to detail; for example, two bottles of mineral water were provided every day. Above all the staff was very helpful. Furthermore the breakfast (included in the price) and the dinners were very tasty. In short, the better family hotel.

We didn't stayed in the hotel as visitors, we just came to eat in the restaurant and it was the best meal around. The dishes are large and tasty and arrived very quickly. The view from the restaurant is the best around and all the experience summed up to be incredible

This place has a long history and already existed in the 1950s. Given that you shouldn't expect a completely renovated new hotel yet a cute little place to rest after hour hikes. The rooms are clean and some have a balcony overlooking the beautiful valley and the olympus. The staff speaks English and was very friendly. The hotel is clean and the All you can eat breakfast for 6,50€ per person is best to enjoy on the terrace outside. The rooms don't have air conditioning but a little fan so it'll get hot in summer. Would totally stay there again!

One of the best places I’ve ever visited. We got a traditional room that was more expensive than the other ones but it was worth it all the way. The room was cosy and very cool for summer , we had a river exactly at the base of our room and we could sit outside day and night and just relax with the amazing view , the sounds of nature and the sound of running water. the breakfast was great. Big variety to choose from , with amazing flavours. The location of the hotel in the heart of the old village is perfect. You have to walk a bit to go there because the streets at the heart of the village are not made for cars , but that gives you a chance to go back in time and get some amazing medieval vibes. It’s like going back in time. Everything including the hotel is built with wood and stone and trees and water is everywhere. This place is medicine for the soul. Do yourself a favour and spend some time there. Just don’t be cheap and ask for the traditional rooms.

The striking panoramas over mountain and sea are a never - failing pleasure to the eye.The Forest Park Hotel has a style of its own. The hotel has also installed Wi-Fi connection in most public areas. The Forest Park is still family run which may explain its charm and excellent standards of service.
This ancient tomb is well beyond its prime. It is like going back in time to the 1950's - nothing has been done to update it - no USB or electrical outlets to charge your electonics. The room was freezing cold. Terribly understaffed. I can only describe dinner and breakfast as weird. The only redeeming feature was that it was not too expensive. Try looking elsewhere.

Agrospito is a lovely guest house. A sympathetically renovated old, traditional, building. Our room was very 'quaint' with sufficient, although not overwhelming, cooking facilities and fridge so provision of our own breakfast was easy. There were a lot of small touches such as the wine bottle and walnuts provided. The room was a good size for 2 people with a separate sleeping area. Staying in a cold April we wondered whether it would be warm enough at night but there was no problem. The room stayed warm but there were also radiators, if needed. The location is fairly high above Agros, so has good views and a lovely roof-top seating area. We were concerned it might not be easy to find but it is well signposted within the town, especially if coming down from the main road from Troodos direction. The owner may not be present when you arrive but lives nearby. Be prepared to telephone him. Very welcoming. The Guest House is on a steep hill and our own room had steep stairs. This did not bother us. Other rooms may, in any case, not have the stairs as the rooms looked as if they could all be different – so ask if you have mobility problems. We also found the safety lighting quite bright so take eye covers if you are sensitive to light at night. Again, this may not be the same in other rooms. In April there was a shortage of early eating places in the town so our evening meal was at the Rodon hotel. There are a couple of tavernas up there which were open when we left the hotel but we don't know what time they open.

In fact one evening he sat us down in the main reception and put on a big fire and cooked food for us and treated us to drinks-The member of staff called Lucky- was an absolute joy, he went out of his way to help us and cooked us a wonderful breakfast every morning even though we were vegetarians he did a magnificent job while I was there I had to work on my laptop and I have to say the quality of Wi-Fi was excellent

Extremely rude staff! Was coming here for dinner and parked on the road (public space). Before even getting out of the car I was told by a waiter I could not park there as it was only for hotel guests (which isn’t true). I didn’t even get to enter the place.
