Magical veggie heaven
Reviewed By Jennie AHotel Balatura is a magical veggie hidden treasure that I would highly recommend to all, even though I secretly want to keep it for myself! The location is stunning and quiet and the hotel is a beautifully preserved historic building from Gordon's ancestry. Gordon and the team make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. Our room was upgraded and dinner was ready for us whenever we wanted it, which was appreciated after a long day traveling. Tanya the chef created the most incredible vegetarian feasts, which we devoured. The breakfasts were also hearty and healthy and especially lovely enjoyed out in the courtyard. You can tell that the hotel and menu is made with passion and love, which makes this place so damn special. Gordon was always around for a chat and to give you tourism advice. Such a funny, friendly person! We felt so happy and relaxed and didn't want to leave. We cannot wait to return one day to see the hotel turned into a village! Truly one of the best places I've ever stayed, which is saying alot.

Reviewed By F6056NQtinahToo much salt in everything (soup, meat, potato) , beefsteak a bit smelly. After having that said to the stuff they apologised but that's it, we paid the full price even though we didn't finish it. Overpriced considering the ambience. Pizza looks good though
