Beautiful quiet hotel in Tonalá Centro. It was a great place to escape the craziness of shopping and the tianguis! Staff was very accommodating. Doors were kept locked to ensure safety of all the guests. Wonderful private parking. Happily surprised to see AC in the room. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Tonalá.

My sister and I just returned from our second trip to Tonala. This property was easy walking distance to the Thursday market vendors. It was surprisingly quiet in our room, which was on the back, non-street side of the hotel. The king size bed was very comfortable. Room was spotless. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All furnishings are very basic, you are in a working class town, so do not expect resort quality furnishings. There is a nice restaurant a short walk away called El Rincon del Sol, we ate dinner and lunch there and I recommend it. It is on 16 de Septiembre. Be aware thst the main road in tonala is under reconstruction and venfor stalls have been moving around to side streets. Expect this activity thru december 2016.

We are located in the heart & historic center of Tonala Jalisco, a few blocks from the Plaza, Market, Flee Market and other historic and cultural points of interest. We offer you a stay with peace of mind, cleanliness and hospitality.
I do not recommend thos hotel at all. Renters beware. No taxi No concierge No restaurants after 9 pm. In a sketchy neighbourhood and worst rooms ive ever seen. You must speak Spanish in this hotel no1 speaks english. Have enough pesos as there are NO exchange places and not a safe area to be in. Run away!!

Platinium used to be a good clean basic hotel. Not anymore, not clean, no shower curtain, water everywhere, no extra toilet paper. Stayed two nights and second night was just as dirty as no maid service. I will never stay here again. Unfortunately I brought guests who were here for the first time in tonala based on past experience. Not a person in the hotel speaks English so no way to communicate.

This hotel is well located near the Thursday market and close to the main street. It is clean and has secure parking included. It is not the easiest place to find as there are two Calle Clavels and they don't seem to connect. Google maps helped us get there. We booked this hotel online and the posted rates at the hotel were the same as online. The hotel itself is VERY basic. We had booked a room with what we thought was a queen bed, but in reality was a double. We changed rooms to two doubles. The bathroom was very small and the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor. While there was shampoo, there was no conditioner. Also, there wasn't a hair dryer. If you need one, bring your own! The hot water in the shower was the best part of this hotel. We had a room on the backside of the hotel. It was very noisy - lots of traffic noise, roosters crowing and dogs parking. That did not make for a restful sleep! Note that there are horse stables in the parking area. The beds are typical Mexican - very hard. The hotel is built around a central courtyard - so noise anywhere reverberates. Staff are reasonably friendly, but no English is spoken. We had reserved for three nights, but left after 2 as we were not getting much sleep.
