Was there racing at 3 palms motor sports and it’s was only 2.4 miles away from the track. The hotel had great showers and cold after a long day in the TX heat. Plenty of nice restaurants close by to chose from if you wanted to venture out and eat. Pool was nice also.

Very pleasant experience here at this hotel from beginning to end. Located in a beautiful spot that overlooks a lake. The surrounding businesses are super convenient ranging from a grocery store to high end dinning. Nice staff from the moment we parked to unload and check in. You have the choice to Valet or Park yourself in a 2 story garage directly behind the hotel. Check in process was easy. Lobby was clean and they happened to have complimentary cookies for the kids, which they loved. Room was extremely clean with a very nice layout. There is a small living room (couch, TV, table) connected to the bedroom (another TV with beds). Ordered room service and the food was ON-POINT. I normally have an expectation for room service, but this Embassy Suites blows it right out of the water. We had the burger, steak and salmon which were all very good. Most importantly the time estimates were very realistic. I believe the wonderful young lady told us it would be 30 mins after we ordered and it took just about that. Went down stairs to go check out the area, and saw that they had a Happy hour. Why not grab a drink before exploring? The drinks are priced fairly, and again the staff was very nice. I noticed they had complimentary bar snacks available (which we didn’t try because we were too full from the room service) which is a nice touch. Overall experience here was stellar. Any time I will be passing through Houston, I will make this my go-to place to stay.

DO NOT be fooled by the beautiful photos on their website. This place is a far cry from a “resort.” Every employee we encountered was uninformed and unwilling to help, some to the point of rudeness. Almost every question we asked was met with an “Uhhh….I’m not sure.” We asked about the kayaking area, and our response was, “Umm I haven’t seen the guy that runs it, so I’m not sure if he’s here. You can go down there (pointing somewhere in the distance) and see.” The tennis and pickle ball courts are not a part of the resort and they don’t seem that thrilled to have guests from the resort at their country club. One afternoon a man knocked on our door saying he was there to fix the locks. We, of course, didn’t let him in, as we were two women alone in a motel room. He was insistent that he needed to get in our room to get his work done. We called down to the front desk asking if they had workers at the hotel. They said no, that they had no idea what was going on. We asked for security and they sent the guy that guards the beach towels. Come to find out, the man knocking on the door was indeed a legitimate worker who had been doing work there for two months, yet nobody at the front desk new about it? There was no notice that people would be trying to get into our room. We were told by the towel guard/security that he would talk to management and they would be in touch with us. We never heard from management. One day we asked for housekeeping. They never came. All day. Never showed up. But when it was checkout day they were there knocking on our door at 9 a.m. This “resort” doesn’t have robes, no microwaves, the refrigerator in our room had been turned off and the carpet was wet in front of it. It is in desperate need of updating. My food order was wrong twice on the same order. Got it wrong, brought it back and it was still wrong. The pool area is dirty and run-down. Just one big disappointment after another. Just goes to show you what a good marketing firm and photographer can do. I would never come back here.

I am a Marrior Bonvoy member, I love Westin, But this time I do not know why but the cleaning was very very disappointing, I let them know in the front desk and still it’s so dusty, the coffee maker is dirty, was used prior and it is not cleaned. There were not a single bottle of water. The telephone was disconnected and without battery, and I advice them, and did nothing…. Very disappointed

I cancelled within minutes and was charged anyway. They have refused to work with me on this matter and will not refund my money. I have emails from them and even cancellation conformation. This is nothing but a rip off to get a fee from you.

Stains on the carpet (large what looked like coffee), damage to the moldings and wall, the tub (shower) did not drain and would fill with water, the towels were small and thin, the bedding (comforter) was as thin as the towels, the bed was hard and felt worn out, and they do not clean your room unless you ask. We did ask and they never cleaned the room. Also, no credit for rewards if you book from a 3rd party (not direct with Marriott). The breakfast was ok, but not great. I would not equate this to a standard Marriott stay.

Enjoy our newly renovated and pet-friendly accommodations in a superior setting at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. Set on the Waterway near shops at The Woodlands Mall, restaurants and the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, our hotel in The Woodlands, Texas offers an ideal location for leisure and business travel.
We enjoyed our stay at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott. We came for the Woodlands Marathon, and the hotel was located right on the course, so it could not have been more convenient. The area is very pretty in the evening; white lights twinkle in all the trees that line the waterway, and good restaurants are just steps away. We asked for a quiet room on a high floor, and our stay was a lot less noisy than when we stayed here last year. We had a very comfortable king-sized bed, a nice sitting area, huge flat screen t.v., and pretty views. In the morning, we got coffee at their downstairs restaurant, and the service was warm and friendly. Check in and out was quick and easy. There's a beautiful park nearby right on the water where you can rent kayaks and swan boats. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would stay here again.
