Reviewed By NaseefJifriHad stayed for one night. Everything fine ,except the Air conditioner noice , was the old model which fits in window. Provides complimentary breakfast that's too nice food. Have limited parking slot only. However it's in centre of town but still quite . Good stay.

The staff members were excellent, and falling over themselves to help us with anything and everything. Great value for money - room service in particular was so cheap and wonderful food However, there was no safe in the room so valuables had to be carried everywhere

Victoria Hotel, established in 1930 by late Mr. Kanaran, is set on a cliff overlooking the Arabian Sea. On its grounds are gazebos where guests can enjoy short eats and drinks while watching the sparkling blue of the sea dotted with fishing boats during the day or enjoy a lovely, many-hued sunset at dusk. Gentle sea breezes throughout the day and evening help guests into a calm and relaxing state. Victoria is a 16-bedroom facility with a bar, 24-hour coffee shop and two restaurants. The well appointed rooms with baths make our guests' stay at Victoria a pleasing experience. Adding to the ambience, several rooms overlook the sea, where guests can get to watch sunrises while sipping a hot cup of bed tea or coffee, thanks to room service, and enjoy a continental or Indian breakfast. Right next to the hotel is the Municipal Sea View park with a playground for children. From the park there is a route further down the rocks, where one can sit and fish if one so desires. Typical Kerala Sadyas (meals on plantain leaves) are served at lunch. The restaurants and the coffee shop provide grilled dishes from the tandoor and seafood. The chefs can also whip up the unique Indo-Chinese fare so popular in India. Victoria can be easily reached as it is conveniently located on the national highway NH 17, connecting Panavel (south Mumbai) to Kochi. It is adjacent to District Court, Thalassery.

Reviewed By Vinoth Kumar VThe staff were surprised to see us there and then let us check in after a wait of 1hour. No one else visits there. Might have been a yesteryears happening spot with seaview bar and restaurant. They are not there anymore.

Reviewed By Chemingineer55Hotel is part of a mall in the bustling market place and so difficult to locate. You have to haul your bags to the lift to go up to the reception on the first floor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Warmly lit spacious room. Room service was efficient. They use solar heater and so hot water availability was bit of a problem on a cold rainy day. Breakfast was decent. They have an attached restaurant, which we didn't try and so cannot comment. Thalasserry Fort is within walking distance from the hotel. Easy to get transport to move around.
