Visitors to Teton Village will find great skiing at Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park. Most tourists stick to the Jackson Hole Nordic Center, which offers great downhill and cross-country skiing, but there are miles of lesser-known trails and black-diamond slopes in the Park for the more adventurous.

Honeymoon stay!

We chose this place for our honeymoon, April of 2022. It was spring time so there was a lot of stuff closed, but the concierge desk did not stop until they found us stuff to do! We got lucky with a snow storm coming in and was able to ski 2 days and go snowmobiling! Amazing trip overall.

Chemical burn

Reviewed By FRH22

The location and amenities are good but I would not stay here again. Me and several other people I was traveling with received chemical burns from the hot tub. I lost a lot of hair on my body and even after a month of being home, my skin is still peeling. Chemical burn makes skiing very uncomfortable. What makes it worse is that I called the manager at the hotel and told them and they didn’t seem to care. They said they would check and get back with me and nothing. I called back and left another message for the manager I spoke to and she never returned my call. I sent feedback to the parent company in a survey and no contact from them either.

Lovely place to rest

I highly recommend Alpenhof Lodge if traveling to Grand Tetons /Yellowstone- We stayed 2 nights and the staff was wonderful friendly and Super accommodating. The Free amazing breakfast was from 8:00 to 10:00. Our guided tour pick up time was 7:30. We stopped at the front desk the night before to ask if we could get coffee around 7:20. They said yes right away. The next morning we were greeted by Dominic who was so pleasant. He had coffee and delicious pastries waiting and offered ‘to go cups’ for us! We felt he went out of his way to make sure we had our ‘coffee fix’ and we can’t thank him enough for his thoughtfulness and excellent service. The next day we ordered breakfast from the outstanding choices on the menu. We could not believe it was free compared to other hotels who only offer cereal and hard boiled eggs. Our next stop was to West Yellowstone but we wished we would have stayed at the Alpenhof during our entire visit. This is a quint quiet lodge tucked away in Jackson - It’s a beautiful German lodge don’t miss this one of a kind retreat!

Really nice and warm swimmingpool

Reviewed By JesperUth

The hotel and rooms are in a good shape and nicely cleaned. There is a free drink included in the room charge and we enjoyed it after a great day in the national park. Especially the staff in the reception was top class :-) We had dinner at the restaurant and that can not be recommended (boring bulgur and burned chicken.........we didn't complain as we where to tired after a full day, but I doubt that anyone would be proud to serve what we got)

Ask for a private room if you come stay here!

Reviewed By Jessica M

We had a good experience - we read reviews before we came and called in advance to request the 4th floor given the noise complaints from other reviewers. They serve coffee in the morning along with tea but don’t open until 7:30AM. They offer private parking which is nice and we came in early June so didn’t need to fight for a parking spot given it wasn’t busy season yet. The basement also has a pool table, communal kitchen which offers a shared refrigerator, microwave and a variety of board games for kids. Highly recommend if you are looking to visit Jackson & don’t want to pay top dollar. The private room we stayed in has 4 beds (3 floor beds and 1 bunk bed). Christie at the front desk is amazing and was very accommodating during our stay!!

A Brand Uninterested In Making Friends

Reviewed By Stephen F

The Four Seasons at Jackson Hotel is a lovely facility and a top notch hotel, literally steps from the base of the ski lift. The food and service are excellent. I was disappointed in our experience, however, for a couple of reasons. My family of four was supposed to check into the resort on a Sunday near the end of the winter season and to stay for four nights at a total cost of $17,500 (including taxes and fees). At the last minute, Alaska Air canceled our flight out the night before check-in, which ended up delaying our arrival by a day ($4,380 of the total stay). The day before our scheduled arrival, as soon as the flight was canceled, we kept the hotel informed of our delay. Despite this, and despite American Express's efforts to document our delay, and provide that information to the hotel, the Four Seasons declined to credit the missed night. This is consistent with their cancelation policy, of course, but it also surprised me that they did not make any effort at all to credit us for either the lost night or any future stay. The hotel seemed indifferent to our travel ordeal, and indifferent to the impression they were making on first time visitors to a Four Seasons facility by failing to acknowledge the penalty we were paying for circumstances entirely out of our control. The other reason I found the experience disappointing is just that -- having now visited Jackson Hole -- I can see that there are a variety of very nice lodging options that are just as convenient to the ski area as the Four Seasons, and also very nice and also much less expensive. If I were to plan another family trip to the area, I'd certainly look for a different option.
