Nice 1 or 2 night hotel
Reviewed By Gorgonzola_DKThis hotel has small but adequate rooms for a couple of nights. Quality is nice and beds are comfortable. Shower and toilet facilities are OK and clean. To arrive is a nightmare because the small slip road where you could access a lay-by and check in is blocked by parked cars. Your best option is to drive up to the closed car park gate and then enter the hotel to get an access the underground car park. The car park was priced very reasonable at 5 Euro per night. We bought breakfast included and this was a good move because there are not many other places to eat breakfast in the nearby surroundings. Breakfast was fine - nothing over elaborate, but fine for what you need, and it was operated by a most charming lady who spoke a few other languages plus French of course. The evening dinner was initially a challenge because of the lack of places to go, but just a few hundred yards up the road was a very decent Chinese restaurant. It was VERY busy and must be popolar with the locals. It was not cheap, but the food was quite good. We would stay here again should we ever pass by Lyon again.

Trash in the room floor when I arrive room. Stains everywhere inside room and hotel.Hand marks everywhere. The bath towels smells bad. The whole build smells like tabaco and old.

Our hotel is situated at 15 minutes walking from the subway to the town center of Lyon (old city classified unesco). the access to the hotel from the motorway A6 (Paris-Marseille) is very easy, exit "lyon vaise " before the fourvière tunnel. Park your car in the paying garage or on the free parking o the roof of the hotel by Montribloud street behind the hotel. we have large room 22sqm with sofa bed for family of 4 people maximum or standard room for one or two people (same room's size) or executive room with mini-bar, international newspapers...all are totaly renovated.the restaurant "brasserie style" (open for dinner only from Monday to Friday) with large windows open by the terrace and an outside little swimming pool open during summer only.

Reviewed By whugirlWe stayed here with a large group for West Ham's game in Lyon. Like all Holiday Inns it was clean and we had a good night's sleep. It's quite a way out of the city, not really walking distance so we spent quite a bit in taxi fares. The breakfast was very nice. Would definitely stay again.

Reviewed By James GI hate trolls, this is not a troll. I am on the road almost daily. I like to get going and eat breakfast at about 10 am. I always have a take-away or buy on the route. I specifically asked the night before if I could have a take-away breakfast; I confirmed all I wanted was a Croissant & Pain A-Choc and a slice of cake (not even a drink). This was confirmed by reception. At breakfast I again asked the waiter – an Oui was received. I took one of each and placed into a serviette, about to leave my way was barred by the morning receptionist, with a loud English voice, for all in the restaurant to hear, “It is forbidden to take away, only eat here”. Explained the previously agreed conversations, they were dismissed as, “He does not have good English and they [reception] were wrong”. To cut a long story short, she would not allow the take away (despite showing her the paltry morsels) and point-blank refused a refund. I explained that our company 5000 Euro per month bookings with the chain will no longer take place. She said, “do what you like”. Not quite the response required, but she got her way and imposed the regulations.

Reviewed By Sallianne AI booked this place for 2 nights. The bed was comfortable, and that was the only good thing here. The room was tiny, the bathroom was like a porta-potty and the door didn't close. There was someones dark hairs in the bathroom and shower. Yuck! The second night was the worst. The people below me partied all night. I could smell their cigarette smoke in my room (the place is a no smoking hotel), and listened to their awful music and yelling and banging. I had to get up at 11:30pm and complain about the noise, and then again at 2:30am. Finally the staff member called the police and I had peace and quiet. I will never stay here again. The second day I couldn't get in my room because the front desk staff had only programmed the key for one night.
