In the paradise of green tourism and hiking: the majestic M'goun Massif in the Central High Atlas and in the so-called happy valley of Ait Bouguemez (1750 m), I invite you to discover our charming family casbah, La Casbah M'goun. A charming cottage an mountain ecolodge and Hotel ranked first class by the classification committee of tourist establishment. Unique in its kind in this valley with its typical and ancestral architecture, charm and good level of comfort, our traditional Casbah also enjoys an exceptional location in the valley. Nestled on a quiet hill above a village, it offers a 360 ° view on manicured fields as gardens and across the green valley and has several relaxing terraces. A haven of peace and tranquility for relaxation and a comfortable base for your walks and discoveries. Warm and refined Moroccan and Berber cuisine We will be happy to receive you
This beautiful, very well restaured kasbah is located on the top of a hill in the beautiful green Ait Bougmez valley. Thanks to the hight over sea, it is agreeable cool even in a hot August as this year. You can see the kasbah from far, because it is an ancien Agadir (water reservoir) which his very kind and open owner, Ahmed, restored carefully. Each room has a shower with warm water. We had a personal cook as there were not many people. He always cooked very good and fresh food, big size, we could choose if vegetal or with meat. To start, we got a soup, then a tajine and then fresh fruits from the valley with a good tea. The breakfast is typically maroccain with excellent fresh orange juice. We got free tea and some cookies when ever we got back, tired from a hike or an excursion. We went to the interesting souk (30min walk from the casbah) and did a 7h hike with good pathes to the tizi n'ait imi, where we had a wonderful view. I would recommend to take at least 4 nights, as the driving there from Marrakech takes some hours and because its ideal to relax and stay for a while. We thank you Ahmed for the explenations about the country and the way people live in this beautiful valley! Martina and Dominik from Switzerland, Bern

We stayed at Da Si Hamou for one night in mid-April in 2018 and we couldn't have been happier: From the first moment we entered the house, Ali, the manager, made sure we felt very much welcomed. While considering whether we want to stay, he invited us for tea (explicitly mentioning that we are invited irregardless of whether we want to stay or not). In the evening Ali showed us possible hiking trips for the next day and created a cozy atmosphere with a fire in the dining area. When the weather was bad the next day, he helped us plan our journey and even gave us his telephone number in case we had any trouble finding the way! The house and the rooms are beautifully decorated. The rooms are large and clean. The food was amazing. We had a massive Tajine with vegetables and one with chicken for dinner. Both were incredibly yummy. The breakfast was gorgeous and had all we could wish for (cheese, eggs, pan cakes, two types of marmalade, honey, two types of tea, coffee, milk, fresh juice, and even chocolate powder). The only negative points are that the rooms are a bit chilly and the low water pressure in the shower. There is no Wifi and of you want 4G connectivity, make sure to buy a sim card by Maroc Telecom (inwi doesn't work in the valley). Thanks for a wonderful stay, Ali!

The gite Tigmi Azrur is situated at Dour If N'Ghir (1.800 Metres d'altitude), one of the 27 villages of the marvelous Ait Bouguemaz Valley, in the heart of the central High Atlas mountains. The Ait Bouguemaz Valley is situated 240 km away from Marrakech and 80 from Azilal. The valley is surmounted from summits exceeding and altitude of 3.000 M which the Wawgoulzat (3.763 M), the Igoudamen (3.500 M), the Azourki (3.677 M) and the Tizal (3.100 M). Perfect place to make walking and trekking tours of all level and to discover the region, as well as Imazighen traditions.
We arrived to Tabant and we would never expected place like Gite. We literally tried the only guest house available and Silvia opened the door to a lovely and comfortable house with big bathroom and beautiful terrace. Silvia and her husband are very very nice and caring. Just a superb place with a great money-value.

Comfortable room in a lovely building with a wonderfully inviting and welcoming host family. Terrace with panoramic views across the valley. Marvelous experience overall. The proprietor, Mohmed, is a guide and can do day trips or longer treks/expeditions through the Atlas mountains and came across as very capable and knowledgeable. Note: From the "bus stop" in Tabant continue up the road to a clear sign and building on the left.

Ait ayoub is a typical berber accommodation, located next to tabant, in the picturesque high atlas valley of ait bougmez. It's a typical rammed earth wall lodge, decorated in a traditional way on the inside. It has a 30 person capacity, with 3 rooms (4 beds) and 2 dormitories (8 beds).
