Staff were brilliant however the room was absolutely disgusting. The room was full of dust (with covid about that’s extremely dangerous) which I have video evidence. Had to clean the side cabinets so could put our clothes in them. Disgusted that if we wanted to have our room cleaned we had to ask. No that should be compulsory that the room is cleaned everyday. The towel rail was all rusted. The whole room was just shabby and definitely not worth £100 a night. Will never return

The people who run this pub could not be nicer. So kind and helpful. But the pub is a disappointment. It’s dead and lacks any kind of atmosphere. The one night of entertainment was pretty dire. The room was clean and the bed comfy but it was small, cramped and smelled of damp and air freshener. It had no proper light as it is frosted glass, the carpet was stained and the furniture tired and dated. Breakfast was small. Not worth the extra. It’s such a shame as the people were so lovely and it could be so much better with a bit of effort.
