It truly was a bed for the night but sadly we didn’t get a refurbished room so ours had a very stained carpet with red nail varnish. It was very dated but because Liam Gallagher was playing at his concert nearby, we paid £302.00 per night. Unfortunately unlike the holiday inn express where we had stayed, the ambience was so so different and subdued. That being said, the staff were all lovely and helpful.

The newly refurbished Hotel Cromwell used to be the farmhouse home of John Thurloe, secretary to Oliver Cromwell. The alluring hotel in Stevenage's old town centre combines elements from the past with modern day facilities into a stylish decor. This Stevenage hotel is conveniently located close to the A1. London's Kings Cross station is only a 27-minute train ride away from Stevenage Station, which is just 1 mile from the hotel.
Recently stayed whilst visiting family. Everything from check in to check out was wonderful. The staff were really welcoming and the room was really comfortable - amazing bed! Had dinner in their restaurant which was lovely and great value. The private car park was an added bonus! Won't bother looking at any other hotels in Stevenage now I have found the Cromwell!

Stay connected with Premier Inn Hotel Stevenage North. With great nearby transport links, you'll be well placed to get out and explore business and leisure destinations such as St Albans, Hertford and Welwyn Garden City. And if you're headed further-afield, we're close to Luton Airport, too. Picnic on the lawn or even catch a world-class concert at Knebworth House. Get a breath of fresh air at Fairlands Valley Park. If it's the right time of year, watch the spectacular flying displays at Duxford Airshow. Then land softly with a tasty meal in our restaurant and a dreamy night in your extra-comfy bed.
Good location, only a 20 minute walk to the Old Town, if you're staying whilst visiting Knebworth Park it's about an hour's walk so easier to get a taxi, rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable, would use again if revisiting the area.

Whilst staying at this hotel I came out to my car and found my wing mirror pushed inwards and the paint on the wing mirror marked. No other cars parked anywhere near the car and the hotels blue laundry bin was sitting in the parking space next to the car. Reported to hotel reception who advised they would look into it. No one came back to me. Again at check out the person had no record of this issue being looked into. Again I was told they would look into it and come back to me again the hotel failed to respond. Escalated a case and gain no one came back to me . A total lack of respect for customers property at this establishment, and quite shocking not coming back to me. You don expect to find your car mirror pushed inwards and marked and a laundry truck sitting next to your car, A total lack of care Rooms and bathroom were clean although the phone in the room was broken. Food at the establishment is adequate

Stayed here for 2 nights for football match at Wembley, great location just a short ride to the train station, a far cheaper option than staying in London. Good rooms , nice bar and an indian restaurant on site . Plenty parking. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Quite disorganised. There were a few of us but couldn’t order when one couple were delayed. Food was nothing special. Loyalty points for Vintage Inn not understood by the staff. I knew more about it than they did. In all not a great experience.
