With an enviable location, just a short drive away from the town of Fort William, the Lodge is a perfect point for touring the Highlands. Once a hunting lodge, the hotel has been refurbished with a whimsical, eclectic decor yet keeping alive its riverside history.
Our family stayed in the Pebble Shore cottage. Absolutely beautiful accommodation and view. The first night I messed up the washer/dryer and the manager was quick to help and brought in a repairman to fix it. The entire staff was very attentive to every detail of the stay and very accommodating. The food was also excellent. Can’t recommend enough.

Views to live for, food to die for at The Braes!
The Braes is a really nice place to stay. I was only there for one night, but hosts Willie and Marjorie couldn't have been better. Willie gave me a lift from and to the spot where I was walking. My room was fine and the breakfast was excellent. The view from the lounge window was stunning.

It was a pleasure meeting the owners of Birchbank Bed & Breakfast. The house is immaculately clean and the garden is well-kept, with good parking facilities. We had room No 1, a cosy small double with ensuite and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast is a treat: guests are invited to pre-order from a generous list of Continental choices which are followed by a cooked breakfast. Well presented, beautifully cooked quality ingredients and expert, attentive service with a smile, gave us a great start to our day. Ramona and Alin are the greatest asset of this business which they run very efficiently, ensuring that they make guests welcome and comfortable. Their genuine smiles and willingness to help and give advise with regard to local facilities was much appreciated. Thank you Ramona and Alin; you are the perfect hosts.

What a warm welcome from Simon and Marie! The rooms were spotless and very comfy beds. Great selection on the tea tray, lovely toiletries provided and nothing was too much trouble. We requested an early breakfast so we could get on the road, again this wasn’t a problem. The breakfast was delicious with quality fresh ingredients. This B&B is perfect for all local attractions including climbing Ben Nevis.

2* family run hotel, originally an old coaching in with annex and chalets. The rooms are as individual as the hotel. Incorporates the Commando bar with bistro, restaurant (in season), take-away and proud to house unique Commando exhibition dedicated to WWII Commandos who trained at Achnacarry and honoring present service personnel all of whom have a link with the hotel.
Well where do i start, this hotel is very tired looking, scruffy and could do with a comlete refurb Rooms not great, made tea with the kettle provided, but couldnt drink, tasted horibble, may have been the water in the place. Food was very poor, i had the half chicken, it was so over cooked it wash really dry, and not tasty at all. It was that bad we decided not to take breakfast here, and left early, to have breakfast on the road. Wont stay here again, and it was the most expensive stay on our 6 night trip

Due to Covid we had to reschedule our reservation two times. This was no problem for the owners and we were so thankful. We stayed two nights and there was only one family beside of us two. The atmosphere is stunning, the lodge so cosy and the food unbelievable. We had once lamb and the second day angus filet. The desserts were to die for and the service impeccable and very careful because of Covid. We would go back whenever possible. Thank you for your hospitality

What a lovely place! The owners & staff couldn't be more accommodating. We arrived after taking the sleeper train, were welcomed with tea or coffee while our room was being made-up (this was 10am - so didn't really expect to go into our room that early). Following a lovely walk to Spaen Bridge itself we were offered refreshments on our return including fruit cake (yum!) or scones. Dinner was excellent from the relaxed atmosphere in the dining area to the food itself, this was definitely an evening to savour. Breakfast was another culinary delight, from the choice of Scottish breakfast to smoked salmon - would have been worth staying a few more nights to try more! Would definitely recommend Old Pines to anyone coming this way.

We stayed at Coire Glas for one night after a long days hillwalking and have already booked in for a second stay as it is really first class. Every last detail has been thought of to ensure each guest has a comfortable stay. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the en-suite had a super powerful shower with fabulous complimentary toiletries and the bed was so comfortable! There’s also a lovely comfortable lounge area for guests to use and the breakfast was really superb. Simon and Morven are excellent hosts-attentive without being overbearing and have really created a home from home with more than a touch of luxury. We will return again and again

First leg of the Great Glen Way as a solo traveller. From picking me up at Gairlochy, to dropping me off at the same place the next morning, I felt I was as looked after as the Queen. These guys have worked at this establishment for 20 years, however the place looks like it was redecorated yesterday. The dining room is what I would aspire to in terms of decor in my own house, and the bedroom, although bijou, was equally impeccably furnished and decorated. The dinner was one of the best I have tasted for a long time. There was no buffet in sight at breakfast, one of my pet hates. These guys are so good at what they do, I hope to stay here again with my husband before they retire.

Our one bedroom, wooden holiday lodges are all set in natural woodland on the banks of the River Spean. The lodges have a mix of river, woodland and mountain views. They are all fitted with kitchens and shower rooms, are fully insulated, have double glazing and controllable electric heating throughout. We have both double and twin lodges available, as well as some dog friendly ones. We are located 10 miles north of Fort William and 6 miles from Nevis Range (for snow sports and mountain biking). We are close to the junction of the A82 and A86 giving easy access to Inverness, Cairngorms (Aviemore) and the South.
Great lodges with all amenities for a great time off close to all things good in Scotland. The lodges were well maintained with new white goods and Campbell is accommodating. Highly recommend this place.
