The staff, Forest, Mike, Michelle, Eileen and Jack go above and beyond to make the guests feel welcome, appreciated and valued. The pet accommodations for us were perfect, first floor, a room down at the end of the hall and the room was clean and spotless. Our dog really appreciated the welcome gift too! The lobby, with popcorn and cookies in the evening were an extra, unexpected treat. The patio area and pool were so inviting and nice to sit and relax, as well as the lobby with the fireplace. Everything met our expectations and beyond. Thank you for really putting the word comfort in Comfort Inn. Thank you!

Reviewed By KellyktmGreat location! 10 minutes to beach-Oak Island, 5 minutes to food lion. Nice restaurants around. Very clean rooms, nice hot breakfast buffet. Get the end rooms, they are huge! New hotel, comfortable beds. Easy digital checkin and check out. Plenty of parking.

Great for an Extended Stay
Reviewed By JAG5088The location was good but did require about a 15 minute walk to get to the basin. For younger guests that would not be an issue. No real view unless you stay at one of the two units on the south side. Nice pool area sitting right on the river. For families not wanting to eat out all the time, they have a full kitchen. The biggest negative and it probably is not for most guests is that the wi-fi is not password protected. They still offer daily room service not found at all hotels post covid.

too much noise
Reviewed By Fearless19329912857there was too much noise coming from the room upstairs and too little parking. Next time I will stay on the top floor. other than that the only other thing that was negative is the breakfast was kind of limited and only had one waffle maker,

Reviewed By Z4109XKmarkgCame here and was greeted warmly by the girl at the front- Robin. The manager is nice and so are the other staff members. Certainly above the norm. The location is close to both Oak Island and Southport (at the crossroads).

We wish we could live there! We will definitely go back. Suzy has thought of everything anyone could possibly need! If 5 stars is the best you can rate something, Suzy and LaPolena would absolutely get 10 stars. Fantastic and Beautiful place!
