While only 60 years ago South Korea was considered a developing country, it’s now one of Asia’s economic and cultural leaders. Super-chic Seoul combines modernism with ancient history; coastal Busan serves up rugged beach spots; and Jeju Island wows with volcanic landscapes and towering mountains.

Quick spontaneous night out with my wife taking advantage of their meerkat offer which proved good value - food is ok and prices reasonable. The service from our waitress was excellent however and we would revisit for that reason alone! Our only regret was that we did not catch her name so she could be recognised but the owners! It was the best hotel in Seoul I stayed at so far. Good location and the room was very clean with a good price. I also got a discount on staying and dining through an app called DealightMe. I recommend it to all tourists in Korea and I would love to visit again.

My husband and I are staying at Hotel PJ Myeongdong for close to a month. The hotel is great for its location and affordable price, but the service was disappointing for a 4-star hotel, for a few reasons as listed below. Pros: - Location is awesome. Near enough to all the main attractions (shopping street, local food, food markets) and public amenities such as the Line 2 subway. - Convenience store and cafe located right below the hotel and a coin laundry room, which is very helpful for long stays. - Room is a comfortable size, with a bathtub and smart TV with Netflix installed. Cons: - An item of great sentimental value to us was taken from our room (likely during a cleaning round, but this was not explained to us). The item was eventually tracked down and returned to us after two days, but only after we had incessantly called the front desk to ask them to take action. They had initially said it could not be found. - Some cleaning staff would walk into our room immediately after ringing the doorbell, without waiting for a response. - A cleaning staff walked into our bathroom while it was being used (she did not knock before entering) - The hotel gym and business centre are closed (according to the front desk, due to COVID-19 restrictions), which is inconvenient for us as we need to use the business centre to print our travel documents. When we asked the front desk if they could help print the documents for us since the business centre was closed, they told us no. Overall, it’s a good hotel to live in if you can overlook its shortcomings as above, but in our opinion, it can and should do better.

I am writing this review as I needed attention and follow-up after my stay. I did not get a copy of my invoice after checking out and realised it when I was putting in my expenses claims for business travel. Well, after you have checked-out, you will be totally ignored. My stay was May 17 to 19 Emailed them on May 23 of my request - no reply Called the hotel on May 26, they asked for all the info related to the booking, and said that they will email it to be. May 30 - still no response Since I am writing this review, I should also share my first time experience staying with them. Rooms - beds comfortable, room is clean but dated and tired, Towels were worn and needs refreshed, but they were clean Front desk - friendly seemed to be in a rush, except those at the graveyard shift as it is quite a large hotel, a lot more patient. Concierge - the junior team members had more initiative and was ready to engage and help the guests. The seniors service levels were far from decent, they serve grudgingly. Restaurant - as its a big hotel, the volume of guest they have to manage is huge, kudos to them, they are efficient. Beware that there was a huge crowd that builds up queuing for the restaurant to open at 7am for breakfast. Conclusion: I won't be returning

So I had to be at my room all the time due to quarantine. I think the experience was positive, I had warn meals 3 times at day. They lend me an adapter and a Ethernet cable. Wifi is not stable but with the Ethernet cable everything was working. I hope to visit one day this hotel without being in quarantine!

We recently stayed in the TMark Grand on our trip to Seoul. We initially booked for one week with the intention of touring other areas, but after a change to our schedule we needed to return to Seoul and without hesitation we booked the TMark for the remainder of our trip. Why? put simply it was pleasant, unobtrusive, welcoming and everything we needed for our visit. The rooms were comfortable, clean with amble space. The staff were helpful and respectful. It was a home from home for us and a hotel we will always return to if we return to Seoul, thank you x

Do not come here if you have tattoos. You will be discriminated against for the duration of your stay. You will have staff tell you that tattoos are prohibited when it doesn’t say that in any hotel policy whatsoever. My wife and I would’ve NEVER booked to stay there if we known of the unsubstantiated discrimination we were going to experience. Avoid at all costs. Also, the resort is way over priced. You can get a hotel close to Songjeong or Haeundae and have a much better time on the beach. The Hilton capitalized on its location and views along the coast and short change you everything else. If you are active duty and here in Busan for vacation, do not stay here. You’ve been warned.
