Located 2 steps from Lake Hossegor and in a peaceful pine forest, this old farm Landes was built in the district of Rey Soort-Hossegor at the end of the eighteenth century, according to the traditional methods of the time, the heart of a clearing also called barnyard.Enjoy a pleasant stay in this "little paradise" where reigns the calm and serenity, yet close to the activities of the city, the lake and the ocean. In our house, 3 bedrooms await you.Of different sizes and capacities we can accommodate a single person, a couple or a family.
Spent our first few nights in this fabulous property, it was simply perfect from the accommodation to the delicious breakfast served up every morning. The owners Anne and Pascal were extremely warm and friendly just delightful and interesting to talk to, they went above and beyond. We spend over 3 weeks in France and stayed in a few places but none could compare with Lo Rey du Lac, it was just so different really refreshing from the usual run on the mill accommodations. Absolutely loved it and one day I hope we can visit again. Thank you Guys for looking after us. Martin, Monica and Solange

We stayed four nights at this really nice hotel. Lovely friendly staff, very clean well appointed modern rooms, quiet, just a few minutes walk from the beach or the centre of Hossegor. The breakfast was reasonably priced and really good. Highly recommended.

the hotel was praised family friendly, but that's wasn't our experience. We also had some unfriendly encounters with the person at the lobby. Our expectation for him was to be be obliging and offer help. Instead we were told to wait 20 minutes as he had some calls and other things to do. The room, especially the bathroom, was not really clean. e.g. there were still splashes on the mirror from the previous guests. Also: There was really really loud music from other guests outside our room. Despite a one-time intervention by the hotel staff, the music was not turned down. But nothing else was done either. All in all a disappointing experience and not worth the price.

Wonderful location to stay in Hossegor on the lake and close to the ocean. We had a spacious apartment with 2 bedroom one bathroom and a kitchen. Ideal for a family of 5 as us with balcony with a view on the swimming pool and on the river. Breakfast was nice and offered inside or outside on the terrace

As a foreigner, there was no warmer welcome in France. I was blown away by the immense hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Not to mention, the sunsets, view from the balcony and being a stones throw away from the ocean. Absolute treat, thank you Fanny and Guillaume!

Our 42 air-conditionned rooms with balconies (with 2 for disabled people) overlooks the lake or the swimming pool . Behind its wonderful facade, find the atmospher of the bar , the comfort in the rooms , the local and refined restaurant food . Be relax and be waited on
Nice room with mezzanine floor with beds for children so better than the usual sofa pullout bed filling the room as is usual for 4 people. Very clean with lovely view of the lake and a balcony with table and chairs was a bonus. Very helpful polite reception staff. We didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food, but a good restaurant within walking distance. A little bit out of the town but we hired bikes from the hotel and had a nice day out on them. Can’t fault it for the price!

Located by the water, the lake of Hossegor sea between sea and city. You can soak up the sun from your balcony or terrace and admire the magnificent sunset. Walk in the forest of maritime pine (the largest in Europe), famous Golf, Surf paradise, bike ride around the lake, shopping, everything is designed for sporting holidays or a relaxing quality.
Let’s start from the good points of the hotel: nice view (if you have a room with the lake view), polite staff. Full stop. Now, let’s go to the downside. We stayed for 4 nights during our holiday period and had booked by phone. We had a look at the hotel website; it looked a bit expensive but the location was good and the rooms seemed wide, nice and well equipped (curtains etc.). Total price for 4 days (room + breakfast) was about €1,360, which made about €340 per night. When we arrived there, the reality was dramatically different: - the “parking” of the hotel, was a tiny space, hosting no more than 5 vehicles Another space (without any hotel parking sign - I doubt it was really a hotel space) was in front of the entrance - max 4 vehicles). The hotel had about 25 rooms; as a consequence, when coming back at night, you had to struggle to find a parking place for your car therearound (the local public space was often full, as there was a crowded restaurant nearby); - there was no lift; - the carpet of the corridor in our floor was dirty and stained; - the room was small; you could hardly walk from one side to the other, as there was little space between the bed and an IKEA-style desk put aside the opposite wall; - the bathroom was luckily OK, but the room floor was of poor quality and damaged; there was even a hole, wider than a 2 Euro coin, showing a rusty piece of metal inside; the room walls had been sketchily painted and in some cases it looked like there were “patches” of white paint over an older original painting - there was a small balcony with a view over the lake, which was nice, but the floor was corroded in many points; - the furniture was very cheap and impractical; - In addition, the side of the room facing the lake was entirely a glass window; there were no curtains; as the room was exposed to west, it became an oven in the afternoon unless you kept the rolling shutters down (and everyone could see you from outside). Eventually, we discovered that the price for the same period, had we booked using Booking.com, was about € 200 per night. In a nutshell: - the quality of the hotel was by far much lower than expected with such a high price; - features and quality of the rooms advertised in the hotel website were very different from reality. Very unfair. Before paying, we had a tough discussion with the hotel manager, which was not able to reply to our criticism, other than saying: “but you have accepted the quotation”. Advice: avoid it. STATE ALLA LARGA!
