Reviewed By N1301SYmxrFina rum med bra ljusinsläpp som tyvärr har riktigt dåliga mörkläggningsgardiner, så man väcks tidigt på morgonen av solen som skiner in. Var helt slut efter två nätter på detta hotell, då jag vaknade 5.30 båda morgnar trots sen kväll innan och ögonmask. Rummet städades ej, fick säga till flera gånger och då byttes bara handdukarna. Frukosten var inte bra heller, dåligt utbud av bröd och pålägg. Fanns inte skivad tomat, gurka eller paprika heller. Skön säng och bra luftkonditionering, bra dusch. Saknade dock balsam i duschen. Tyvärr väger det positiva inte upp resten av det undermåliga, utan tar upp betyget från en 1:a till en 2:a.

Reviewed By UtenickeVery nice staff and excellent service. Nice restaurant with really good food. Extensive and fresh breakfast offering. Nice pool in the basement which was a nice retreat from the hot weather during our stay. Well equipped, air-conditioned gym.

This place is far from what their marketing says. If you have a run down hotel/motel, you can’t market yourself as a spa hotel! Major anticipationclash! Stayed in a so called superiorroom and it was just as basic as a motelroom, actually I’ve stayed in a hostel with a more fancy wibe. If you want a basic place to stay this is fine, if you want luxury you should drive by.

Reviewed By Marty2travelA Best Western at a great location. The hotel is simple but clean. Parking was a bit of a hassle. Parking is located beneath the hotel and an office building. You need to reserve a parking space, otherwise you will have a challenge with parking. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was fresh and complete.

Nice little hotel
Reviewed By KHGH01One week stay with no problems at all. Good location just few minutes to city center, bus station, the river, and the hospital. Clean room with fair size. Large clean path room. Nice staff/owner who are very helpful. No breakfast buffet because of Coronavirus but one get breakfast articles in room’s refrigerator everyday. Free coffee in hotel restaurant all the time and in the room one can make own coffee and tea which is provided by the hotel. No daily cleaning but on get new towels when one use them Easy check in and out.

Reviewed By KHGH01The hostel is centrally located, about two minutes to the bus station, five minutes to the city center and 8-9 minutes to the hospital. The reception is not opened so long time. But one gets a message with the codes that are needed to open the doors and get the keys. Everything went very smoothly to me. The room was clean and bathrooms was clean as well. In the room there is a refrigerator , filter coffee machine, kitchen-range, and laundry room. There is no daily cleaning. The hostel is suitable to som one who would be in the city to work most of the or to have outdoors activity most of the day. Noisy streets near the hostel at week-end night.

Situated 2 km from central Skellefteå, this hotel is just 300 metres from the Skellefteå River. It offers free access to a sauna, indoor swimming pool and sports hall with a gym. Rooms are located in 3 different buildings, each with a common room that includes cable TV and a tea/coffee maker. The garden and terrace can be enjoyed when the weather is nice. Breakfast is served each morning in the restaurant. Lunch and dinner are available on request. Free bicycles are offered at Medlefors Hotell to explore the surroundings. In Nordanå Park, less than 2 km away, guests can find museums, an art gallery, playgrounds, shops and cafés.
Poor start but was turned around

The stay started off super-poorly. 1) Had a phone call the afternoon before arriving to ask if I could arrive before the check in time, since reception would close 2 hours earlier than advertised. No guarantee that we could check-in, just pick up our key. 2) When we arrived, the receptionist, who was unhelpful, announced that despite no forewarning, the pool was hired and therefore unavailable for 3 hours. No apologies, just stating the fact. 3) The light room was out of service, and the sauna turned off. 4) Despite the website stating that lunch is served 7 days per week as of 25/8, the receptionist said that no lunch would be offered on Sunday (without apologies, just stating the facts) So, I was ready to turn around and leave at this point. But we decided to stay as planned anyway. Now the turnaround. All credit to the lovely lady working in the restaurant who could not do enough for us, and really listened to our needs. She went over and beyond. This lady is the star of this hotel. The restaurant only served one set 2 course meal, but it was very good. Credit to the chef. The room is nice enough with comfortable beds, although the extra bed was more like something you have in a tent, and the mattress was very thin. To top it off, one of the springs were broken and fixed with duct tape. Breakfast was good!

No cleaning / clean your own table!
Reviewed By Mr_CorrectWe expected more from Stadshotellet. No cleaning of room. No new towels. Breakfast was a joke. No bread, no plates, one egg left, 30 minute before closing. You are suppose to clean your own table after breakfast!! Bar staff didn't glhave sufficient training to serve drinks. We will try The Wood Hotel next time.

The bathrooms are very clean and nicely decorated. There's a little entrance hall with a couch, TV and fireplace - all very homely. Our room had two very comfy single beds and TV. Breakfast was very tasty with a good variety to choose from. Skellefteå center is at walking distance, about 1 km.
