I liked the hotel
Reviewed By Destination818716I went to eat dinner at the restaurant at the 1st floor.The food was good in taste and the amount was perfect for one person. The hotel environment was enjoyable for dinner although was a little crowdy at the time I went there.

Reviewed By tomizuta1953Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) introduces Taishakukyou as “a 15-kilometer-long canyon in the Kibi-kogen Highlands in eastern Hiroshima that was carved into the karst tableland by the Taishaku-gawa River. It has magnificent scenery with a wide variety of features, including precipitous cliffs, caves, mountain streams, depths, torrents, and waterfalls”. We chose this hotel as our foothold for exploring Taishakukyou. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel facility as I was expecting an aged hotel that you see in many onsens in the mountains. Perhaps because of the unexpected late snow in the Northern Hiroshima area the day before as well as it being still early for the tourist season, there were very few tourists at Taishakukyou. The hotel facilities were clean and well managed. The view from our spacious room overlooking Lake Sinryuu with cherry blossoms was magnificent. We enjoyed the course dinner mostly composed of local dishes. The onsen including the outside bath was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the conversation with the friendly staff. The hotel offered me tasting of local sake, which is good service indeed. It was a very comfortable stay. You should enjoy the boat cruise of Taishaku River if you visit Taishakukyou. The pier is only a five minutes' walk from the hotel.

Reviewed By Trek23236921618Hotel is okay, tiypical japanese style, not si much tourist. Staff speak a bit english, but they are really helpfull if you need information ! I was in trouble with my itinary, and they spend 40 minute trying do find solution. So i recommend

Great Place for Escapade and Camping
Reviewed By Syafiq FThe place is great for escapade, they have camping sites for outdoor activities and gathering, plus nearby hotels have a great vegetables sushi on their menu! Veggies are from local farmers. During my trip, the shoubara city arranged a session for us to make our own vegetable sushi. The course is quite filling. Aside from the sushi, we also served with tempura, soba, and chawan Mushi. All are made specifically for muslim visitors. So do not be worried, you can let them know if you prefer halal food during your meal.

慣れないジャンルの宿(良い意味で)
Reviewed By かわっち食事は地産の食材で古き良き日本て感じで◎。お米はひかってて美味しいです。自家製ってこんななんだ！コンニャク、押し寿司(鯖 マナ鰹 鰆)、？？な野草、季節がら鮎、具材たっぷりのお味噌汁 etc 美味しかったです。冷酒◎。焼酎は銘柄による飲み分けはご理解なかったようで、無難にお湯割りをお願いしました○。お風呂は2室、階段降りて近い方が3人、奥が2人の広さ。マッサージ機あり◎。宿の作りは古いけど綺麗。桜の間20畳は冷蔵庫あり。生憎の雨で帝釈峡は散策出来ずリベンジしたいです。

合宿所ですな
Reviewed By ksouth7652食付きでしたので楽しみに行ったのですが…内容は少々残念な感じです。温泉が別棟についており、宿泊客以外も利用可能です。宿泊客は部屋のタオルを持って別棟までスリッパで行くことが出来ます。食堂の壁に多くの長距離ランナーのサイン色紙が飾ってありました。

old but friendly and helpful staff
Reviewed By iamfaceold but friendly and helpful staff. the chef also quite talkative. food not bad and more Western with Japanese style. the mixing not bad.room is big enough and clean but the bath room not so good. lack of hot water. finally we used hot spring water to finish our bath before go inside the hot spring. cold and trouble. friends room also getting some area dark which led her scare and uncomfortable. price is acceptable. ok for short staying but need to improve the hot water in bath room
