The "comfort" rooms are really comfort and spacious, though the bed its a bit hard for my preperances. Breakfast is well balanced and what you expect from the hotel to provide. Stuff and service was also very good.

Close to the forest and only 1.5 km from the Hohenloher Freilandmuseum Wackershofen. In Gottwollshausen a suburb of Schwabisch Hall stands our house. In 15-20 minutes you walked comfortably down to the historic old town. We are a family run house and child friendly. In our cozy restaurant and on the terraces we offer a regional and seasonal menu with a Mediterranean touch. Heiners Pub for fun, games and cool drinks is also for smokers. We are open daily and there is also always something to eat.

The food was ok but wasn't that much on the menu and after six weeks it could really have been changed every two weeks. Nice clean rooms. One part of the hotel the rooms are renovated and the other part isn't.i be back again if im in the area.

Good Family Run Guest House and Banquet Facility
Reviewed By L1770KFpeterwI came across Landhaus Roessle by accident when a meeting shifted and the hotels in the city were fully booked. It’s only 5 km from city center so it’s not difficult to reach by car. I do not believe there is public transportation available. It’s a large property with several out buildings and a large banquet hall suitable for weddings and large celebrations. The hotel itself is a 3 story farmhouse in which the family live. The hallways are wide and decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and more modern pieces. The rooms are basic but comfortable. Mine was spotlessly clean when I checked in. Unfortunately, the WiFi was almost nonexistent. There was a very weak signal making it impossible to run virtual meetings. Also, like most family hotels there is no AC and with local temperatures over 35 degrees it was pretty warm in the room. The housekeeper serviced my room after the first night but not the rest of the nights I stayed there. The grounds were really neat. Surrounded by farms. A pen with 3 goats. Couple of friendly dogs, rabbits, and birds. I would stay there again, only not when it’s that not.

The hotel Location and rooms are excellent, however for a hotel of this stature, would expect more refined meat/ham (smoked salmon/ prosciutto) selections at breakfast, and more attention to service, we had to flag down a server for coffee after waiting 10min,, perhaps short staffed. Our room faced the church on the main market and we could hear the actors preparing for the big show on the stairs, very cool.

Fabulous overnight stop
Reviewed By Aileen PWonderful find at a very reasonable cost. Stayed in the beautiful new rooms, which were a lot more than 4 star, and lovely balcony and lift. Dinner was first class too and a great guy running things a great host. They also have a Michelin Star restaurant on our list for next time. Great place to stay for Schwabisch Hall which in itself is a beautiful town to visit.

Reviewed By skeeter2018This was my first stay at Hotel 21, I have stayed at 5 others in Schwäbisch Hall. The first two nights I was on the fourth (top) floor. It was 77° on average those two nights, but about 85° in my room. There is not Air Conditioning. I requested a room on the first or second floor. They accommodated my request. Know that there are balconies on the second and third floors, but not first and only one on the fourth, if you like that. The road next to the hotel is busy. You need to cross the street to access breakfast (excellent), the pool, and the front desk. Parking is limited, less than the number of rooms. Cleanliness was so-so, there were a lot of dead bugs in both rooms throughout my stay. The rooms were slightly larger than average in this area, but far smaller than any you would find in the US. Know that breakfast costs €10 per day extra.

Radio, cable channels and a safe part of the Standard. A hair dryer is of course available in the bathroom. The hotel's restaurant has a summer terrace which is located directly to the marketplace. Get breakfast at the "Stadt-gut Hotel Gasthof Goldener Adler and" taste! The payment of your hotel bill, you do comfortably and easily via Visa, Diners Club, American Express, MasterCard / Euro Card! The cooking is pretty bad
Reviewed By alexandermO9715LNWorst swabian cooking I have ever tasted. Great disappointment. Overcooked pasta. Oversalted sauce. Somehow they manage to cook a bad tasting Schnitzel(!?). I would expect better food in a canteen. The place is not expensive but it is not cheap enough for the quality they serve. Avoid.

Hotel Scholl is located in the historic center of Schwäbisch Hall, directly adjacent to St. Michael's church. My family’s home for the last 140 years, I am the third generation to manage this boutique hotel. We aim for a warm, casual, and elegant atmosphere. Our hotel is made up of four historic houses, the eldest of which is more than 550 years old. These protected landmarks have been unified over the years into one hotel. We certainly aren't a cookie-cutter chain hotel. No two of our rooms are alike. Being right in the center of town, paid city parking is available in front of the hotel on a first-come-first-served basis. There are 827 covered parking spaces in two city garages at five minutes walking distance. You can easily drop off you luggage, park the car, and enjoy a short walk through the town to the hotel. Once you're parked Schwäbisch Hall is easily walkable. You won’t need your car. We look forward to having you as our guest. Your host, Christian Scholl
Well located stay in SHA
Reviewed By coastalsummitI booked my stay at the last minute for a stay in order to meet an old friend in the area. The single room was located in the front of the building, had bright carpet, a standard twin bed and sizable bathroom. Aside from the street traffic, it was fairly quiet, though the room could use darker shades for those of us light sleepers. Room was clean and the location couldn't be beat, just steps away from the church and all tourist sites within walking distance. You must reserve a time to pick up keys as they do not have a typical front desk during certain times of the day. Also, no breakfast is included. Otherwise a basic, clean and safe stay with average prices for the choices in the area. (April 2019)

Darling in every way
Reviewed By Elizabeth MFantastic location, old world charm but with modern furnishings. Immaculate bathroom and full kitchen. I was expecting a lot less for the price. I wish I were staying here for many more days. note that there is no lift. It's really just wonderful!
