Reviewed By KokkelolWe stopped here on a Sunday at about 5:30 in the evening. We did not stay in the hotel, only ate here. The location is wonderful and the food is very good value for money. Although Marie-Luise, who helped us, could not speak any English, she was most helpful and kind. Such a beautiful find off the beaten track. If you do decide to stop here, make sure to see the Gunster Waterfall about 10 minutes drive from here. It is really worth seeing. Parking is free. The scenery in this area is spectacular. We drove the Schoderberg Road (a narrow mountain road) back which we LOVED, and then up the Solk Pass, a very quiet and remote pass with the deepest valley's. Wonderful and so quiet! Away from all the tourists.

Reviewed By Wiener_10Ausgezeichnetes Essen, flotter und sehr freundlicher Service, feiner Spielplatz für Kinder alles bestens. WC auch sehr gepflegt. Übernachtet haben wir nicht, scheint aber auch zu empfehlen zu sein. Als Biker ist man auch willkommen!

Reviewed By JohannesburgJudithThese were really kind and helpful owners who try to make your stay as good as possible. Anita and Franz met us as we arrived with a glass of schnapps for us both. They were so friendly that we immediately felt at home. The views are stunning! Our balcony opened up onto a field with grazing cows and their cowbells. It was truly beautiful and refreshing. We loved being away from the crowds and rush of tourists. Anita is tireless in serving her guests. Although we did not have a fridge in the room, she was most willing to freeze our water each night for the next days travels. We requested lunch packs beforehand to take with to the Formule 1 Grand Prix. These were ready on our breakfast table early in the morning. Ours rooms were clean, bedding very white. We worried that we may be keeping the neighbours below us awake, as the floors were rather squeaky, so ask for the top floor like our room was. Then no-one will keep you awake. The area is absolutely scenic. Driving the Schoderberg up from the waterfall was something we will never forget. The waterfall was definitely a must see, and as for Schoder itself, well, we LOVED it. Such an authentic little, sleepy Austrian village off the beaten track. Driving the Solk Pass was also unforgettable. This is an amazing stay for anyone who loves to get away from the crowds and see nature at it's best. We will definitely return if ever possible. Thank you Anita and Franz for giving us beautiful memories to cherish. We loved our stay.

In our beautiful holiday home you will find two very spacious apartments, each with about 130m2 living spaceSleeps 4-12 people per apartment are availableThe ground floor apartment boasts 3 spacious bedrooms, a sitting room with an extra bed and a beautifully decorated kitchen. The garden is directly accessible from the kitchen, as is the spa with sauna / steam room, heated relaxing stone just a few steps away.The house has been lovingly renovated since our acquisition two years ago, the building goes up to the 15th Century. THe house is mentioned as local cultural heritage. During renovation just ecological materials such as wood, lime, stone were used. This provides an excellent living atmosphere.
Bruggerhaus - einfach zum Wohlfühlen
Reviewed By Romana MIch war jetzt schon 3 mal im Bruggerhaus auf Urlaub und ich muss sagen - jederzeit wieder. Das Haus ist ursprünglich ein altes Bauernhaus, und hat die Gemütlichkeit dessen nachempfunden, verzichtet dabei aber nicht auf den Comfort des mordernen Lebens. Dusche, Badewanne, WLAN, alles was das moderne Leben braucht im Hintergrund der Gemütlichkeit eines Bauernhauses mit Ofen und Holzböden. Einfach ein Traum. Auch die Besitzer sind freundlich und hilfsbereit und erfüllen einem (fast) jeden Wunsch.

They were very comfortable, clean and sleek; the dining area that joined two rooms together was nice and cozy as well. The only annoyance was that the Wi-Fi was not working properly and we couldn't resolve this with the staff during our stay.

Erholsamer Urlaub im Gasthof Gangl
Reviewed By Lisa DWir waren für 3 Tage im Gasthof Gangl und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wurden herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war die Anreise etwas schwieriger wegen keiner besonders guten Ausschilderung des Gasthofes. Das Zimmer war rustikal und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Gastgeschenk war wirklich eine tolle Überraschung :-) Kommen sehr gerne wieder!
