Dream Stay at this Dream Hotel!
Reviewed By Meghan HMy husband and I hit the jackpot with this amazing hotel on the beautiful island of Schoinoussa! The owner, Nikitas, is a very kind man who went out of his way the entire stay of 6 nights to share tips of the best beaches to explore, great restaurants to check out, and great star gazing spots at night. I also noticed that the owner would wait at the end of the ferry drop off's and ask people if they had a ride, he is just a very thoughtful person, and this only made me appreciate our selection of our hotel even more. We stayed in a room up top and it was well worth it! We could see the sunrise and sun set from our hotel balcony! The room was very clean, very safe, and the beds were very comfortable - absolute luxury on this quiet island! The location is ideal: This is a very small island, but you can walk to the port in 10 minutes with a path (thank you for sharing the tip, Nikitas!) and you can walk to all the beaches from the hotel, some are 10 minutes away, some about 30 minutes away. Best location to be on the island! It is also right in the Chora, so you have access to all the restaurants/taverna's. This island is the perfect getaway from the chaos of reality, and if you are looking for a luxurious hotel with compassionate kind people, look no further. RUN do not walk, to Theasis Luxury Suites!

Reviewed By saronicThe local taxi driver picked me up at the port, since - as I was informed later - the hotel van wasn't ready yet. First the taxi driver gave me a room, which wasn't prepared yet, so with the help of the room maid Polyxeni I got another room (they don't have numbers or names). The room on the ground floor had a good size and looked quite pleasant, like the whole hotel structure on the edge of Schinoussa village. There was a private terrace with a table and armchairs. From here one had a view of the distant sea in the direction of the harbor. There was a double bed with a good mattress, as I found out after the first night. It had bed lamps on both sides. In the wardrobe there were just three plastic cloth hangers, so I asked the room maid for more. It had tea and coffee making facilities, but a 'briki' was missing to boil the water on the small gas stove. Helpful Polyxeni brought me one after I told her. Since in the third week of May the nights were surprisingly cool, I was looking for a blanket, but there were none in the room. Again Polyxeni had it arranged as of the second night. WiFi didn't work on arrival day. They first had to fix it I was told. It really looked as if I were the first customer of the year. At least in the fridge was a bottle of water and also a small bottle of free 'raki' was offered. Maybe with the idea: get drunk and don't complain. The shower in the bathroom worked well, but in the washbasin the plug couldn't be used, and when I took it out, it had all the filth with long hairs on it from the whole last season. Polyxeni told me that they were still waiting for the plumber to check everything for the new season. Apparently they were also waiting for the painter, since it had cans with paint and brushes outside the rooms. Except for the room maid a couple of hours in the morning, there was nobody else at the hotel. There is no reception and also no facility for breakfast - at least for this time of the year. For the village center one has to go through an outer gate, where in front of it there was plenty of weed, which was cleaned only after my third day, with the arrival of owner Manos. I had to use a flashlight, when coming back at night from the dinner at a local tavern, since it was all dark around the hotel. With a considerable price reduction all could have been accepted. Instead I was charged by booking.com EUR 190 (189.36) for 3 nights, deducted from my credit card 16 days in advance. When checking booking.com on arrival I saw that for the same dates I would have had to pay now only EUR 108! When I told Manos the owner about it, he said that everything administrative and financial regarding this hotel gets handled by an agency in Naxos (Mrs Joanna). When I sent her a message about it, she told me that it were 'booking.com' behind it all. This is definitely an unfair and absurd pricing policy.

Beautiful, modern, comfortable and spacious
Reviewed By RichandLou720The place is wonderful! Comfortable, modern and spacious with a well-stocked kitchenette. The considerate host proving some items for breakfast. They have beach chairs you can relax by the water with. The place is a stone's throw to the best beach on the island and about an 800m walk up a hill to Hora where there is a good selection of restaurants cafes and supermarkets. The staff were wonderful and picked us up and dropped us off at the port. Would stay again!

Reviewed By Dm1011Schinoussa was lovely. Grispos Villas was terrible. Rooms not serviced. Toilet paper ran out. No staff around a lot of the time. One of our party couldn’t get into their room - the key didn’t work. It took over an hour to get someone to sort it out. It was as if no-one cared. I would be happy to revisit Schinoussa at any time but never again at Grispos Villas.

Η κυρία που έχει τα δωμάτια από τους πιο ευγενικούς ανθρώπους που έχω γνωρίσει , φιλόξενη και έτοιμη να μας βοηθήσει σε οτιδήποτε χρειαστήκαμε ! Είναι στην καρδιά της Σχοινούσας και βολεύει για το φαγητό και ποτό ! Θα ξαναέρθουμε σίγουρα !!!
